Great location (center but quiet). The dead end street where it's located is a bit dirty because of the stray cats. But that's a common thing here in Marocco so no worries. Also, the location in google maps is not very precise though they tried : the street doesn't appear in maps, not their fault... Just ask the locals for direction if needed but if you look up there are signs ;-) Staff is very friendly and accommodating (gluten free diet needed for breakfast, : served us eggs in replacement for the bread), they recommended a simple, very good good and not expensive restaurant nearby. The interior courtyard and rooftop of the hotel is nice (no panorama but still nice). There's also a shared living room with tv. Our room was simple but nothing to complain, : not too small, and bathroom was more than okay compared to some others in Marocco (shower with seperation, not right by to the toilets). Good value for money, would stay there again if in Essaouira.

Wifi signal didn't really reach our room

We stayed here for a couple of nights and felt like home. It’s just so beautiful, the rooms are super comfortable clean and cozy. Every morning you get such a nice breakfast. The people who work there are the kindest ones! It’s located perfectly so you walk everything easily. We can definitely recommend anyone staying here when coming to Essaouira and we will definitely come back by ourselves!

The Riad is located in the heart of the Old Town and it's amazing to just go out and walk around.

Breakfast was not a lot. Really hard to find, Maps will guide you to a wrong street, is actually the parallel one and you need to look up for the sign of the Riad.

We loved the decor and the location inside the Medina. We love cats so were happy to see so many and give them cat food easily purchased in bulk in the Medina. The room was simple but fine. We were welcomed with mint tea on the terrace. The lady was very nice.

Breakfast was minimal. Could have been better. We would have liked to have been told what dinner with them was like as we were served a meal without knowing what it was in advance and we were alone in a room. There was no one else around. We had to pay cash because their credit card machine wasn't working. There were no toiletries such as soap or shampoo and only one half roll of toilet paper. We found one tiny bar of soap and had to ask for more.

An adorable family Riad. Two of us stayed in the suite that fits up to four people, so we felt we had our own little flat. The breakfast was homemade traditional Moroccan and we felt full well past lunch. Very cosy and cute decor.

Nothing we disliked, but think it's worth warning other travellers that the bathrooms don't really have shampoos or body wash. So if you need more than a little soap, remember to bring your own.

Such a lovely traditional riad in a very central location. Light and airy with lots of plants and two lovely roof terrace areas. Samir and his wife were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Samir booked quadbiking and hammam for us. We had our evening meal cooked one evening two which comprised three courses of very generous portions. Our family 'room' was a lounge with a bathroom coming off it and double bed on a mezzanine plus another double bedroom off the lounge with ensuite bathroom.

Nothing!! It was a bit tricky to find using google maps the first time as the alley doesn't show so a little extra map in the instructions would help for the initial trip.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Despite being located in a busy street of the Medina, when the doors of this riad opens, the noise stays out. The courtyard has some jungle vibes with beautiful plants hanging from the top floor. Breakfast is simple but fresh and good.

Our room was located on the top floor, next door the bakery's oven (chimney) produced some heavy smoke that penetrated into our room and clothing. There was no wifi in the room.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, location is amazing right in the centre of the action. Price was reasonable and accommodation is beautiful.

Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Was better grabbing something on the go from the stalls just outside the riad. The terrace chairs were very uncomfortable so not able to spend long relaxing outside on the beautiful terrace which was a shame.

Les Matins Bleus is a beautiful riad hidden away in the medina. The owner gave us a lovely welcome and was extremely in helping us to plan activities/excursions while we were there (surfing, camel ride, trip to Sidi Kauki). It is in a really convenient location - close to all the restaurants, shops, beach etc - but is also a very quiet place to return to if you want a rest away from the hustle and bustle and has a comfy roof terrace to relax on. We had tasty, filling breakfasts and a delicious dinner at the riad and the duplex family room we had was so spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone spending some time in Essaouira.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The Riad had so many beautiful details and was very well maintained. We felt very welcomed and safe and loved coming there after walking through the town. The location was also very pleasant. But the highlight was the owner Mohammed Z. who is a really kind and warm person. We will definitely come back when we travel to Essaouira again. Also the artworks of Mohammed Z. are really amazing!
