I love the attention to detail of the entire staff. We had a last minute booking and once booked, immediately we were contacted by the staff to make sure we knew how to get to the Riad. Upon arrival, Mohamed greeted us with a big smile and gave use hot tea and cookies. He made sure we relaxed and ate dinner before escorting us to our rooms. We had a super early check out so Mohamed prepared our breakfast to go and Aziz offered to wake us up on time. Aziz also escorted us to our taxi, carrying our bags in hand down the long winding road to the main street. Overall, we received impeccable service and we can't wait to return! Thank you! Thank you!

We wished we stayed longer than 1 night :-(

Tucked away on the edge of the medina in the quieter location of Ziat, this beautifully restored riad offers peace and an authentic Moroccan experience with a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, comfortable and had nice touches like a hairdryer, fridge and kettle. The breakfast varied slightly on each day of our stay and was always prompt and delicious. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful ensuring we had everything we needed at all times. The hammam was a great experience and highly recommended too.

Simply due to the nature of the building, the sound travels so can be a bit noisy if wanting an afternoon siesta

Our room was extremely large and was perfect for three adults. It was wonderfully decorated and had a beautiful view of the center of the Riad. The staff was also wonderful and extremely helpful. There is reasonable and guarded parking down the street.

If we closed the doors to our room, the wifi would drop our calls/internet. We remedied that by leaving the windows to the room open while using wifi. I don't know that guest realize that some rooms overlook the sitting area down stairs. The noise was controlled after 11pm. The noise naturally echos - with or without the windows closed. This would not prevent us from staying again, but people with small children who may need to sleep, may want to ask for a different room.

It was a very traditional, old Riad. The details in the architecture were beautiful and screamed Morocco. The staff was amazing and greeted us with beautiful smiles and so much warmth every single day..The breakfast served every day was home.made and delicious! Our dinner at the Riad was also amazing! Every thing we ordered was delicious and well prepared. They really took good care of us.

Our bathroom was missing bathroom slippers and a floor mat to step on to after a shower. Although they had small sachets which had shampoo and conditioner, but I felt it would have been nicer if they had small bottles of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I also felt the stairs being narrow should have a railing to grab onto to prevent any falls going up and down.

Staff were wonderful and so hospitable - we really felt welcome from moment we arrived Manager Simo was so friendly and helpful - messaged and called beforehand to make sure we could find Riad, had great local suggestions and arranged guide for us too Riad looked amazing - really beautiful, traditionally furnished with modern touches Great, warm welcome with mint tea and biscuits Pretty good breakfast spread including cakes, pancakes, coffee, omelette Hammam was nice and good value for money

Bathroom shower was hot with good pressure but leaked (staff were great at cleaning it for us) Dinner we had one night in Riad could have been better - chicken grill was cold and bit dry / overcooked, veg tagine wasn't as good as we had elsewhere Location is maybe a little out the way of central medina - nice as bit quieter but given we were only in Fes one full day, somewhere more central might have been better

The riad feels quite upscale, and has a lot of unique touches and very fresh facilities. The breakfast is stunning, as is lounging by the pool during the morning hours. I want to say that the staff is very attentive, almost too much so. We had dinner at the riad twice, both times the quality competed with or exceeded other restaurants we attended in Fes. The room comes with a mini fridge and large, comfortable bath towels. We also tried their hammam which was a fun, albeit slightly intimidating experience. The riad's location by the Bab Ziyat gate made traveling easy, though it's a bit of a trek to the medina's shops and eateries. Thankfully, the riad was extremely comfortable relaxing in so we were never left wanting for anything.

The day trip to Meknes that we paid €130 for was unprofessional and an utter waste of money. However, we didn't do any prior research and thus ended up in Meknes during the renovation of huge parts of the medina. We anticipated more involvement by the driver, whose experience as a tour guide did not contribute in the least to our day trip. This is NOT a reflection of the riad, but I would have greatly appreciated understanding the scope of the day trip beforehand, and I genuinely couldn't have anticipated such a poor quality experience being offered by a riad that otherwise exceeded our expectations at every turn.

The location of the property was very good, close to the entrance of the Medina, but central and authentic. The breakfast was excellent showed concern for the guests and their needs. The dinner menu offered was excellent too; ate there two nights and felt it was amongst the best. The property had excellent rooms; large, clean, serviced and authentic. Mohmmad and all the waiters were so happy and smiling all the time. Aberderma, the property manager runs an excellent show. He personally take pride in his work and was professional before the trip in communicating with me a was excellent there in arranging, tours, taxis and helping me with the pharmacy and getting meds. Exceptional person and worth staying there because of him. He arranged Hisham, a city tour guide who was amazing and thats the person to ask for. The food at the restuarant was very very good too

Our stay at this charming riad exceeded all of our expectations. The accommodations are every bit as beautiful as the pictures promise, but the true gem here is the management and staff, who make you feel as welcome as if you were family.    From the amazing breakfast service each morning to the Moroccan tea service we enjoyed poolside at night, our days at Riad Fes Ziyat were wonderful.  The first night that we arrived, there was a bit of confusion as to which room we had booked, but everything was promptly and perfectly resolved once the manager was on property in the morning. He even made our hamam appointments for us (a MUST-DO!!), and orchestrated with the ministry of tourism to provide us a licensed guide through the medina.      Apart from the excellent service and beautiful interiors, another reason that I initially booked this property was the extremely high cleanliness ratings. I travel a lot, and that is THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR for me when choosing a place to stay. I am delighted to report that the prior reviewers did not fail me!! ;) Riad Fes Ziyat & Spa was the most spotless property that I've had the pleasure of staying at in quite a while. Everything was SO CLEAN, and housekeeping did a full refresh daily.   We so enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be back!

The only hiccup at all wouldve been the room confusion upon arrival, but everything was promptly and perfectly resolved by the next morning.

The property is beautiful, everything looks perfect, my room was huge and very comfortable. You are so close to the Medina and you can walk to find everything. I walked a few minutes to see the blue gate that is gorgeous. Every single person that works in this place made our days fantastic, I’m very great full with each of them. Today we had our taxi at 6 am and they hay our breakfast ready in a bag for the train. I would highly recommend this property

Has huge rooms very comfortable, the building inside is beautiful and the ppl that works there are five stars. They speak English , Spanish and French apart of their own language. All of them always helped us in everything we needed

The property is beautiful. Stunning plasterwork and tiling. However, the true highlight is the staff, they are incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. It's difficult to overstate how excellent they were. I can also recommend the hammam.

Little details could be improved. The shower in our room was poorly fitted, the door had gaps in it (by the wall, by the door hinge, and at the bottom by the base) meaning whatever you tried you ended up soaking the floor. We raised this concern to the staff as it's quite an easy fix. Other small details include a lack of full length mirror in the room, a "cheap" cupboard where the hinges were broken. In general, the hotel would benefit from a top-tier interior designer / stylist. The building itself is fantastic, but there is room to improve the decor and execution of details.
