the overall experience: staying at this location will make your trip better. The hostess is one of a kind: will give you plenty of info to navigate the city and recommend places according to what you like, very accommodating (she adjusted the breakfast time, provided us with hot water upon request…) and reachable by phone (even prior to arrival which turned out to be very helpful)

This has nothing to do with the place itself but if you’re coming by car, be careful not to get scammed with the parking prices. Also you might be heckled. I wanted to mention this because the host came to the rescue: spoke to the people from the parking on the phone, and sent for someone to meet us and bring us to the location.

We were overwhelmed with the hospitality of the host Salah who treated us like family. He arranged everything we asked him in advance from the airport transfers to a tour guide as well as gave us a personal tour of the medina for our first day orientation as well as take us to the gate of the medina. He is also accessible at anytime by WhatsApp. On our last day he also accompanied us to do our last minute shopping and introduced us to his family. He also accommodated other requests which we appreciated. The room is comfortable with tv, heater/aircon, shower and toilet and the living room was big enough for all the guests. The terrace is also lovely when it is not raining. Breakfast was also lovely. Most of all, Salah was there to take us to our airport transfer at 2am and personally say goodbye. We highly recommend that you stay here when you are in Fez.

Breakfast was timely and plentiful with many options. Location provided quick easy access to shops, markets, ATM, and sights in a bustling Medina, yet just enough distance to provide peace and quiet inside the riad. Rooftop had comfortable enclosed seating area, and provided great views. Owner and on-site hosts responded very quickly and helpfully to every inquiry; they were very friendly and pleasant. Guests should know there are 3 levels in this riad, plus the rooftop. Living room, dining area and largest ensuite bedroom are on second level, w 2 ensuite bedrooms on 3rd. Kitchen and small reception area are on lower level. Stairs are a little steep. Personally, I loved running up and down the stairs, but may be challenging for some.

The most unique thing about this Riad is the hospitality of the hosts - Mr. Salah took really good care of us. He met us when we arrived (and got a bit lost in the Medina streets), showed us around the area, gave great recommendations on the local restaurants, helped us get through some unexpected last minute changes and offered his support throughout. Thank you so much for your amazing kindness! The riad is located very close to the Blue gates so it's quite easy to move around. The room was cozy with comfortable bed, there's also a big rooftop terrace where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Medina. Totally recommended!

What you have for the price is quite good. The riad is well located and the room are sufficiently clean. The staff is open to help and support you. The room is big enough and the place even not being big result quiet.

Unfortunately our room was smelling very bad due to the sewer. After we informed the staff the used a product to reduce the smell that unfortunately didn't change the situation. The brekfast could be improved but in the same time considering what you pay in one of the most touristic city of Marocco is ok. The main hall of the riad does not make you the feeling to be in a real riad but more in a traditional house due to the size, lack of water and garden.

- Good and safe location (10min from blue gate by walk) - Cleaning every day - For Morrocan standards the breakfast is above average (I would still suggest to add some vegetable, fruits, less sweet/sugar stuff in general) - This riad is comparing to others actually run professionally by a good manager Salah, he was helpful thorough our stay - I think this riad is very close to 4* hotels, you won't find a better value for that money in Fes Medina

- Nothing, maybe lack of natural light but that's the case with every riad

It’s a family run Riad, located in a quiet area but still close to blue gate. The terrace is very great. you could see the whole town. I was received by the owner’s brother, Sala(sorry bro, if my spell is wrong). he is really friendly and warm. he introduced me the town, and helped me to arrange SIM card and exchanges. every time, after I came back, I got tea from him. I was also invited by him to have lunch with his family: very tasty and traditional couscous made by his mom. I like it a lot. he also asked his guy, Kuku(?), brought me to a local and traditional hammam. it’s really a great experience. if I come back, I would like to stay here again. Again, thank you, brother! شكرا اخي

Indeed, the breakfast may be a bit simple, compared to European style. But with the money paid, I would say it’s good enough.

It is located INSIDE medina, but closer to the blue door, in a secondary street, so it is absolutly silent. Riad was amazing, with 4 rooms looks out on inner court, full of traditional colors or stuffs. Bed was enought confortable. Bathroom is not so big, ma shower was huge. Breakfast was full of traditional taste. But cherry on top is rooftop. Simply stunning, You can see all medina. Guest was been one of the lovely one I've ever meet.

We where the only ones staying their at the time so we felt like we had the whole place to our selves. It was in a central location, not to far from the blue gate and close to most attractions.

It would be a little challenging to find it on your own or with out a GPS. So would definitely recommend taxi pic up and meeting the staff at the blue gate.

if you are looking for a place to stay in Fez, this is the best you can find! The house is beautiful and lovingly designed. Fatima makes an amazing breakfast and the location is perfect for exploring the medina (close to the main route). the hosts are great! they took loving care when I was ill and helped me prepare for my husband's birthday! Thanks for the nice time in Fes.
