What made our stay so special was because of Yassine and Hassan, they were both very welcoming and helpful in any regard. We talked with Hassan about everything of his culture and way of life in morocco. He was so kind and open, we really found a new friend and felt very happy at our Riad. The breakfast was good, the location is nice when you wanna immerse yourself in the business of the old medina but sleep at a quiet place. We quickly realized that the medina is too busy for our personal taste.

When we arrived the chef of the Riad double booked our room, so we had to stay in a cheaper room, which was not refunded. That room was very small, one bed was broken and it was not very clean. Once we got to our actual room there were many ants coming through the wall, but it was quickly fixed by the staff. Overall, when all the issues were solved, we loved our room.

Pacha Palace was a delight, I’m so glad I chose this Riad for my first trip to fes, it’s centred beautifully in the middle of the medina and a walking distance from all the main tourist attractions in Fes. The riad itself is stunning and feels so scenic, the rooms are huge and the architecture throughout the riad is captivating, the traditional moroccan breakfast they serve is amazing and very delicious. Not to mention the highlight of our trip was Yassine. From the moment we arrived he was extremely hospitable and attentive to any requests we had and made us feel like home. I would recommend Pacha Palace to anyone visiting to experience a memorable trip.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

I could write a book about the positives of this venue. The view from our room on the top floor was astounding, the room itself was large and comfortable and the location was just outside the medina (2-3 minute walk), so it was quiet without being far from the action. Huge bed. Property was a little difficult to find (a doorway at the end of a narrow street), so ask around at the nearby carpark/taxi stand and someone will point you in the right direction. Staff were exceptional (especially Hasim), and the downstairs common area (where a great breakfast is served) is better than the photos suggest. As a bonus, we were invited to attend a Moroccan engagement celebration being held on the premises - who could refuse that!

Not a major issue, but the bathroom was small and dimly lit. Better lighting would be helpful.

Great location, just outside the Medina so was quiter and yet very convenient. 7-10 minutes walk from the Blue Gate. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was good and the bed was very comfortable.

Nothing much comes to mind really. Do bear in mind that this is a basic riad not a 5 or even 3 star hotel (which of course is reflected in the price). Therefore the bathroom needs a bit of improvement and the hot water took a long time to come through.

Yasin and Sayed were very nice and accommodating. Yasin went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of in every way. He answered all of our questions, offered to show us where the pharmacy was when we needed it and also ensured we had breakfast “to-go” when we left early in the morning. they truly catered to our needs and we enjoyed our stay!

the bathroom could use a bit of updating. it looks like the toilet was fixed on the bottom but it’s a very messy job and makes the room look not as nice. The pillows were also very small but neither of these two things affected the time we had there.

Big compliment to the Deep-Sahara Crew especially Yassine. The staff was very friendly and ready to help you with everything. The Housekeeping is superb, the lady even bothered to place my clothes into the closet which was an unexpected service (given you don’t have anything against it). Breakfast exceeded my expectations! I think if I’ll visit Fez once more I’ll definitely know where to stay.

Rooms are more or less “open” due to a small window in the wall that can be closed but the blinds still have wholes in them so the privacy can suffer a little bit. But that’s widely commin in morocco especially in a Riad

Everything was perfect, thank you very much, especially to Yassine, who was super friendly and attentive at all times, although we did not speak English we managed to communicate, and he always helped us, from the arrival because the flight arrived late, in finding us a guide , gave us recommendations, ... Everything was great, and the breakfast was delicious and very complete!! Thank you very much, we hope to return soon!!

The Riad is simply beautiful, in a great location two minutes walk into the Medina The staff could not have been more gracious or friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. The breakfast were filling and healthy. Highly recommended

My only suggestion is that the pillow cases could be with a softer material.

Breakfast was good, location is convenient to visit main attractions. What makes this place exceptional is Mohammed who welcomes and treats people like they are are family members visiting him. He is very nice and helpful. Overall good experience and highly recommended.

Bathroom facilities in standard rooms could be improved.

Yassine and Mohammed couldnt have been more helpful, and treat everyone like family. I was welcomed with a cup of mint tea, and taken through a map of the city and given some advice. The hotel itself is beautiful, and feels very Moroccan - with a great view from the roof terrace. The breakfast is great, and they couldn’t have been better hosts. They told me if I got lost to call them and they would help me.
