The staff took excellent care of us! Wonderful Aladdin made sure we were safe and secure and that we had all the help we needed with tours and finding our way around, in addition to arranging for the transporting of our luggage. The maids did an excellent job with our breakfast which we took on the ground floor where our room was located. The tile work on all the walls is beautiful and the location in the medina was very convenient to very good restaurants and shopping. Quite the unique experience! Certainly the price was excellent!

A very hard bed that took up almost the entire room. We put 3 thick blankets under the bottom sheet which made sleeping just tolerable. The roof terrace is up 4 flights of narrow steps with "no" hand rails at all. We suggest staying on the ground floor if you are over 50. The shower needed attention since the shower head had to be tied in place with a sock and the drain was very slow. Be aware that you cannot take a car or taxi close to this riad. You must go by foot and it is difficult to find. I highly suggest you call Aladdin at the riad and ask him to have a porter to meet you to guide you through the maze of streets and bring a cart to carry your luggage on arrival and departure.

The riad is located in the medina and it was very clean and comfortable. The real plus was the staff: Aladen and the ladies working there were extremely kind, gave us a lot of advice and helped us with transportation. Highly recommended also their dinner: booking in the morning you can eat fresh and very good food on their beautiful terrace for a cheaper price than many other touristic place that are also trying to scam you. If you are planning your trip in Fes this is definitely a trustworthy place. Last but not least they organise excursions in some close locations (for ex. Chefchaouen). For anything you can ask Aladen and the staff!

The location is very beautiful, but it's situated in a somewhat hard-to-find spot within the medina of Fes, which can also be a good thing if you want to stay as close to the market as possible. The location is perfect, close enough to visit the main attractions in the Medina. The host was amazing, he sent us the information in advance on how to get to the Riad and arranged a pick up to the nearest car parking. He also walked us around the maze in the Medina, taking us to visit the famous tannery and some local shops. It was very comfortable to have a local guide and some precious advice to walk ourselves through the Medina. They also had a good breakfast on the terrace, with a beautiful view.

The room was quiet enough to be in the centre of the Medina, although in the morning you could hear birds and cats. Also, there wasn't much space beside the bed.

The setting is truly sublime and exceptionally well-positioned. The lodging is nestled in a secluded and tranquil enclave, while still being conveniently situated at the heart of the bustling souk. The air-conditioning functions impeccably, a particularly cherished feature during the heat of August. Furthermore, the host's warm welcome adds an extra layer of hospitality to the experience.

Similar to many accommodations in Fez, the bathroom in this place doesn't have a window, which can occasionally lead to subtle damp odors. In terms of breakfast, our departure time was earlier than the usual serving hours. Although we were provided with a takeaway breakfast, it didn't quite meet the standards set by the delightful on-site breakfast offerings.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Aladdin is the perfect host. He helped us with everything we needed and went out of his way to accommodate us. We forgot two blouses and she made sure to send them with a driver to our next stop in Merzouga. We felt completely safe. We could do everything on foot, which made this stay perfect. Really great value for your money! thank you again

We had a fantastic stay! Aladin took care of us from the minute we arrived and even spend his day off to show us the old Medina. Also he made great recommendations of restaurants and was in general a very nice and warm person. The other staff were also super helpful and prepared a very nice breakfast in the morning which we enjoyed at the rooftop with the 360 view of the city center. What a fantastic stay! We will recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Fez!

Nothing worth mentioning.

Really pleased with my two nights here. It's as easy to find as any in that giant Fez labyrinth haha, so location was great (and very close to the main tannery). I loved the rooftop terrace, even watched an amazing sunrise there...wow! Breakfast on the terrace was very generous and won't disappoint. It was a bit chilly at night and the heater worked great. There's so many nice riads in Fez and this is another of the fine choices.

The room didn't seem as big as portrayed on Booking but this didn't bother me, could matter to some.

The Riad is wonderful, the rooms are confortable and the terrace is magnificent. The location in the middle of Medina but close to the main street is perfect. But what I love most were my hosts: Mohammed and Rachida. Mohammed helped me a lot with every issue, giving me tips and suggestions. Rachida made a great dinner for me being so kind. Wonderful people and wonderful stay.

We had a great time in Riad Lala Zahra. Everyone was so nice! The place is in the heart of the medina with a stunning view on the old city. Hospitality was the best we could expect. Aladin arranged for us the pick up from the station and someone guided in the busy streets of the medina to the front door. Aladin was also incredibly kind and helpful to give us tips and show us the surroundings. Thanks to him we discovered some authentic places that we would never have found. We felt like home and the whole experience was great. Absolutely recommended.
