We loved the staff- they were so friendly, warm and accommodating, would defiantly recommend this to friends or family. The location was very good, safe and close to the main square. The manager and the kitchen staff were super nice and made us feel at home!

The Riad was “based on trust” so there are no locks on the room when you go out (you can lock from inside at night which was good). As two female travellers we would’ve preferred to lock our room when we went out.

We absolutely loved our stay at the riad! The location was perfect – central yet peaceful, especially at night and when relaxing on the rooftop terrace. The character of the riad was extraordinary, from the beautifully designed rooms and bathrooms to the charming terrace. The staff were exceptional, always going above and beyond to make sure we knew the best places to visit and happily arranging taxis and restaurant bookings for us. Breakfast exceeded our expectations – it was delicious, with a new cake each day, freshly squeezed orange juice, and full of flavor. The traditional tea and sweets offered as a welcome were a lovely touch. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Don’t hesitate to book Riad Azzar. It is the staff team at Riad Azzar is what distinguishes this riad from the rest. Excellent service for anything you need - for ex. late night request for silverware so I could eat my take away dessert while watching a movie and relaxing. You are greeted every time you enter and exit the road so that you don’t have to search out someone to assist with any requests that you may have. Riad Azzar arranged for a seamless stay for us from start to finish from the prearranged transportation to and from airport to the beautiful daily breakfast on the rooftop, included in the booking rate. Room was immaculate having cleaning service everyday with fresh bed linens and bathroom towels/ mat. The hair dryer was powerful. Bathroom towels huge and robes were thick and cozy. The bathroom was cavernous with ample sink counter space. Don’t sleep on the locally made body moisturizing balm supplied in the bathroom. Loved getting ready with so much space in the bathroom. Front entry way is separated from the room allowing for a small wardrobe changing and luggage storage area to help keep the main room uncluttered. I really wanted to try the fireplace but we ended up being out and about exploring all day and fell into the comfy and spacious bed every night. The private tour of the three valleys is an absolute MUST DO. A private driver brings you to the Eureka Valley, which is approximately 45 minutes outside of the city center. It was the most beautiful experience driving the winding roads of the Atlas Mountains where the Berber people (so kind and welcoming) reside. We had unmatched views of the mountains and clusters of communities from a Berber family home where you have a lunch (made by the locals but you sit only with your own co travelers or can see with other visitors if you choose). It was the most beautiful day and we were so thankful to experience it with our chill and easy going private tour guide Khalid.

If I have to give any notes, the shower head can be bigger.

Riad Azzar is beautiful designed throughout, with a blend of elegant, modern furniture & characterful pieces. The paintwork is immaculate & the rooms & the entire building are cleaned thoroughly every day. It's close to the main square but very quiet and peaceful & it's wonderful to relax by the plunge pool with a mint tea & Moroccan pastries when you need a break from the souk. The staff are delightful & always there to help. The beds are comfy & there is an abundance of soft towels, robes etc. Kettles in the rooms were a welcome surprise. Breakfast is served upstairs on the roof terrace, as the morning sun warms up & is a substantial meal - Moroccan style. Happily the coffee is good! I booked the room with a private terrace & would highly recommend it as it's a perfect spot for coffee in the sun, or for drinks at the end of the day. I would recommend booking the Riad's airport pick-up service, as you have to walk the last 10 mins & would be unlikely to find the entrance on your own.

Beautiful Riad, big spacy rooms, the bed had a good size for two and was comfy (there are only 6 rooms, we stayed in one of the Junior Suites). Lots of Morrocan style details in the room, it was very clean and had a good size bathroom. The room got cleaned every day. The room came with its private little balcony just in front of the room - a little couch with a table, nice. Upstairs on the rooftop, breakfast (and dinner, if you want to) was served. Breakfast was different every day and offered a good variety of bread, eggs and fruits. The Riad is very quiet and yet only minutes away from the main square. The rooftop is great - and you can drink a beer or wine up there, no problem.

Stairs to the room and the rooftop were a bit narrow and steep. Not much water pressure in the shower.

Riad Azzar is a wonderful Oasis only 5 minutes walk from the busy Jemaa El Fna square. Once you step inside you leave behind the clamour of Marrakesh Medina and immerse into meditating relaxation. Renovated with a lot of care for aesthetics but ensuring high functionality/ comfort. A lot of carefully selected ornaments and plants decorate common areas, including the rooftop that overlooks the center of Medina. Especially enchanting in the evening. What makes this Raid special is its host, Asma, who has literally gone over and beyond to make sure everything goes perfect, regardless of not being physically at the Riad at the time of our stay (e.g., organized one-day trips to Atlas and desert for us, checked-in daily via whatsapp in case we needed anything, even just to enjoy mint tea on the Riad rooftop), and her team who greeted us every morning with a big smile and have but their heart in making sure we enjoy our stay. A special shoutout goes to the chef, who prepared exquisite Moroccan dishes every evening for me and my mom on the wonderful rooftop terrace (I loved the chicken pastille, Harira soup and the beef tajine with prunes!). Last but not the least we really appreciated the cleanliness of the Rooms and the entire Riad (and fresh flowers and fruit every day in the room :)). Thank you Asma and team for a wonderful stay!

Riad Azzar is a bit like being in a quiet, clean sanctuary in the middle of the bustling, hectic Souk in Marrakech. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and very good at what they do. Visitors from North America should be aware that rooms in the old medinas/souks in all cities in Morocco are generally smaller than we're familiar with in Canada/USA. That said, the room we had at Riad Azzar was well-appointed, very clean and had a nicer bathroom than other riads we stayed in during our Morocco vacation. Lastly, Asma (our contact at any Riad Azzar) was very responsive and initiated correspondence with us via WhatsApp as soon as we made our booking, months before arriving in Morocco. We really appreciated Asma's communications and her immediate assistance when we accidentally left a credit card in our room upon our departure.

Riad Azzar is perfectly located only a couple of minutes walk from the souk however on a quiet side street. The Riad itself is peaceful and tastefully decorated, and our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff really made the experience for us, from preparing a delicious Moroccan breakfast every morning, to making spa and restaurant reservations, and even helping us acquire rugs in the souk. I would not hesitate to recommend Riad Azzar to other travellers and friends, and we hope to return.

First of all, I have enjoyed time spent in the Riad, it's an oasis in the crowded medina. There are 3 things I enjoyed the most: 1) Overall level of 24/7 service, especially the breakfast, which is tailored only for a few guests with a menu evolving. Having breakfast on the riad rooftop is an amazing experience. Quality of food is exceeding even well-known hotel brands. 2) Rooms themselves, and proper AC, which is very important in Marrackech. Rooms design, facilities, and amenities definitely match Hyatt standards. 3) Staff - all of them are amazing people, very supportive and easy-going. I would definitely recommend the property if you want to stay in Marrackech medina. The only recommendation - contact the property ahead of check-in, and they will help with everything you need to reach the property :)

This was an exceptional place to stay and enjoy Marrakesh. This Raid is hidden little paradise. It’s incredible quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were amazing, not only friendly and welcoming but genuinely lovely people to be around . They accommodated all our needs with smiles in their faces and worked really well as a team. From the moment we entered the place both Hicham and YAhya looked after us . The food was delicious and great compliments to chef , as a Morocan myself I thought the standard were high and the chef cooking was amazing. I highly recommend this place , it offered everything that we needed and more and we will definitely be back .
