Very good location in Medina. Shops, restaurants, museums all in walking distance. To have a complete experience in Morocco, it is worth having hammam and massage. For this you don't have to walk far, as both can be arranged inside riad. Hammam was quite good and met my expectation. Although if you don't know what it is, I recomend doing some research as that is unique experience. Massage after that was ok. It was my first Maroccan massage and do not have comparison with other places in Morocco, though it could be better. However hammam is worth the price. Breakfasts were good. Having full stomach is a must for exploring places whole day. To finish the day I do recomend having some time in the jacuzzi which is available in riad.

To begin with the logistics, the location is absolutely superb, our room was wonderful and spacious (bonus point for locked safe in the room), everything was really clean and we saw staff cleaning and tending to things every single day, breakfast was good, hanging out at the balcony was super amazing and the massage we got was exactly what we hoped for! What really makes this place the absolute best is the wonderful staff and the absolutely amazing service we received, everyone went above and beyond for us! When checking in we were greeted by Sayid (hope I'm spelling it right) who provided us with really good information about various things and really helped us settle in to Marrakech and directed us well on how to navigate the Medina. Mostly we interacted with the night time staff and our trip would not have been the same if it had not been for our wonderful friend Lahcen (nighttime staff member) who not only helped us out with various things such as booking trips and taxis, giving us recommendations and generally assisting us with whatever we needed, but was open to talking with us about so many things about Morocco and Moroccan life which really made our trip so extra special. We now can say we have a friend in Morocco forever, we are sure! We could not be happier with everything regarding our stay at Riad Dama and Spa!

Honestly, there was nothing our entire stay (for 8 days) that bothered us or we were unhappy with.

The staff (Mouad and Mohamed) were AMAZING. Mouad gave me such a warm welcome and gave the best directions for where I wanted to go in the Medina. I ALWAYS get lost, so I was very concerned about that considering what I had heard about the meandering alleys, etc. The Riad Dama is very easy to find, so I didn't get lost once. Plus, the location is exceptional! I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see. Mohamed was so sweet and kind and attended to anything I needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and I sleep on a lot of hotel beds since I'm a flight attendant! I enjoyed using the jacuzzi in the evening, and all the food was very good with large portions. I also loved how Mouad shared about Moroccan history with me. I learned a lot from him! I personally didn't mind the Call the Prayer over the loudspeaker. I found it a rich part of the cultural experience!

I really wish that coffee would be available BEFORE your breakfast. It would have been very nice to sip my coffee while waiting for the breakfast to be served. There is not a shower curtain, so water would end up on the bathroom floor. Under amenities it says bathrobes are included. Mine wasn't in my room, but all I had to do was ask, and I got one. It was taken away by the housekeeper, though, so it was disappointing to step out of the shower the next morning and not have it. there.

I was visiting the riad during the earthquake. The staff made me feel really safe and did everything, despite the terrible things happening, to make me feel comfortable. After the earthquake they checked daily if everyone was okay, and did everything in their power to help others. After the earthquake i suffered from illness of the stomach which made me faint and made me fall on my head. Chipo went out of his way to help me, and drove to the pharmacy in the middle of the night to get me medicine to feel better. A very special thanks to him, i will forever be grateful. Enjoyed the lovely breakfasts, beautiful room and the perfect jacuzzi. Thank you to Jamal and Chipo for another special stay and for all the kindness, they are very warm and good hearted people. This was not my first and will not be my last visit. Thank you and see you soon :-) (ps: This riad is very safe also after the earthquake, and is safe to visit!!)

I loved everything about this riad

Riad Dama provides everything you need - Jamal and Lasan couldn’t be more friendly and helpful; from contacting us prior to our stay to organise airport collection, lots of tips, suggesting some great bars, stalls, somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle for the day at a relaxing pool day and a in-house Hamam and blissful massage (highly recommended) The rooms have everything you need: clean white crisp sheets, air conditioning, towels, hairdryer even cotton buds and makeup remover pads! Great breakfast - pancakes/Moroccan bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, mint tea, coffee fruit- certainly enough to fill you up. The Riad has a fantastic location to the main square within a shot distance, as long as you don’t get lost 😃 It was such a lovely stay that I would be very tempted to return to Riad Dama and I highly recommend it.

It is situated right next to a mosque so if you are sensitive to sound you may want to bring earplugs.

Very nice vibe that gets you into the spirit of Morocco. Amazing staff, everyone we met was very helpful, polite and always with a smile. Great location- we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Lovely breakfast. Hammam and spa on site was also a big plus.

We thought that out bathroom was not as well maintained as it could be - flush was patchy and shower head holder did not feel very firmly attached to the wall. Also the Riad is located next to a mosque so one needs to be prepared for the early call to prayer.

Jamal & Said were all fantastic and super helpful, and Lahcen was AMAZING! Communication with the property prior to arrival was great, and they even assisted from my cab and guided me to the riad. The welcome bottle of water was appreciated, and they offered a great breakfast ... just remember to ask for the eggs! They also helped me organize an excursion to the Sahara that saved me the research and hassle.

I ate at the property one night and while the food was tasty, the portion was very small and I was simply served a piece of lamb with nothing else. A bit disappointing given the price. If staying on the rooftop level it can get a bit noisy, as others from rooms below come up to talk and for hookah.

Super friendly staff and helpful. They did everything we needed and went above and beyond in service. Hammam and massage was good and the Riad is located in a nice place of medina and one of the very few riads I can remember which is accessible by a car directly. Breakfast is decent and the Prune Tajin with lamb was heavenly…

The staff Jamel hotel manager was very helpful Provided plenty of information and how to get around Marrakesh Upon arrival member staff served me a lemonade and water The room was big, bed was comfortable Though I only stay for one night but I would like to come back again as service and accommodation was worth it If I had more time the hotel manager could arrange travel trips which would be great convenience for me as this probably cheaper than do it yourself

There was early prayer sound at 5am only last about couple of mins And there was streets noise late evening times - this wouldn’t have been any issue if I wasn’t so tired at the time

It is our first time in African country. Bit surprised that Marrakech is a very busy place with lots of people and tourists too. It is so colourful and interesting experience here. Our stays in Riad Dama been so amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ our room is clean and spacious. They cleaned the room and provided us with new towels. Beautiful and cosy lounge. Amazing and relaxing rooftop to stay up with your friends/family while playing cards/tarot. There is no lift but they carried our luggage to the room and bring it down too. We love our friendly host JAMAL 💕 Jamal been amazing in helping us with planing our visit. Very informative and helpful. Breakfast provided are amazing! They offer you tea all the time! Great hospitality! Highly recommended 🙋🏻‍♀️

The only one thing that missing is the bathroom lights and hot water stop in midnight. but no problem if you go to shower before 11pm. I love midnight shower 😂
