From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, attending to every detail with warmth and professionalism. The location is unbeatable, situated in the heart of La Medina and within walking distance to key attractions, shops, and restaurants. The facilities are top-notch. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff deserve special mention—they are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with recommendations or any requests. Their attention to detail truly sets this hotel apart. Overall, Dar Anika exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Marrakesh

Everything was perfect

We enjoyed 2 nights at Dar Anika and a 3rd night at its sister Guesthouse Riad Keiss. I’m lumping their reviews together as I think it will be helpful when choosing. The places were different but equally wonderful. Dar Anika is on the edge of the Medina and is 4 stories high with a lovely pool in the courtyard that we cooled off in several times a day. Julien greeted us with tea and cookies in the air conditioned salon. There is a rooftop jacuzzi and restaurant. We loved our breakfasts on the rooftop with excellent service from Maddie. At both Dar Anika and Riad Kaiss, Breakfast starts with yogurt and fruit (coffee or tea and freshly squeezed OJ) and is followed by veggie or cheese omelet and Moroccan breads/crepes. We loved the breakfast. Both riads are very convenient to the souks and Medina. Our room at Dar Anika was lovely and the couch was a comfortable bed for our 12 year old son. Hind at the front desk was very helpful with calls to the airport hoping to locate our son’s lost luggage. Everyone at Dar Anika and Riad Kaiss is so kind and helpful. Riad Kaiss is further inside the Medina on a quiet alleyway and is larger and more traditional with a garden in the courtyard (with 4 resident turtles, much to our son’s delight). The Riad has lots of stairs and winding hallways and secret nooks that our son loved to explore (would be a challenge if you have trouble with stairs). We had a large suite with a separate sitting area and private terrace and appreciated the bigger space (would recommend it for families). We would return to either property but would stay at Riad Kaiss with our son.

The Staff - !!!!!Ahmed the manager and his staff Mohammed- who located a rugby union game for me to watch on French Tv ( IRL v Eng ) Fatima and the rest of his colleagues could not have done more for us - Ahmed even presented me with a complimentary bottle of wine when he found out it was my birthday booking -restaurants -trips -taxis- guiding us in all aspects of your trip to make it a most enjoyable experience- nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent- !! He made our stay a very pleasant experience!! Even gave us some food and drink to take with us on our journey home !!I would highly recommend the Dar Anika and under the management of Ahmed - one is assured of an enjoyable stay .

The staff here went above and beyond, from start to finish we where looked after like we joined the family. We got introduced with a welcome drink and Ahmed the manager (I hope I got his name right) gave us a map and discussed with us our plans for the week, he pointed us in the right direction for everywhere we wanted to go in the week. He helped us change the times of our evening meals to suit Ramadan by ringing the restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful! It was just such a personal beautiful touch the whole stay. Staff where so kind, breakfast was unbelievable, we had around 3 courses it was like breakfast for a king. We where always offered tea and refreshments. The stay was beautiful I only wish we where there longer. I liked that it was in the middle of the medina, perfect location for exploring, it was near to the mosques, walkable distance to the souks and square, i felt safe. We can’t thank the staff at dar anika enough for our stay in Marrakesh, for all the advice and care. Thankyou I will highly recommend .!

The location is at the southern end of the Medina. Taxis can get to within 50 meters of the entrance (a big plus) and there is a taxi rank there. 20 minutes from the airport. Very good food. We ate out a couple of times but the food in the Riad was better and we ate there 3 times (try the lamb shoulder). Staff very attentive, good service. Beautifully decorated, quiet inside. You can walk to most of the main square in 10 minutes and most of the main sites are within 20 minutes.

I like to have a separate shower rather than one in the bath but that's a very minor point.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, safe, and taken care of during our entire stay. There was an incredible attention to detail, including one of the breakfast staff noticing how much our infant liked raspberries and giving him a special treat of a big bowl of them on our last day. The front desk staff had friendly "can do" attitudes and were willing to help us navigate our language barrier with parking and getting our luggage to the Riad. The facility itself was beautiful, with each room being a unique work of art. Dar Anika was extremely infant-friendly; staff provided a pack and play and helped us support him with food he could eat.

n/a - we were extremely happy with our stay!

Absolutely loved the Riad, the location was perfect close enough to the main square but far enough away that you away from hustle and bustle. Was so quiet and peaceful even tho it is on main road. Staff couldn't do enough for you all so helpful and lovely. Our room was gorgeous no.6. Bed super comfy. Room quiet & dark. Housekeeping came in a few times a day to make bed and brought you milk and dates on a night which was unusual but nice. Breakfast was delicious. If you thinking about booking it go ahead you won't regret it

Having to come home And rooftop wasn't open but we went and watched sunset lying on a sunbed drinking a beer at their sister riad 2 minutes away so no big deal

Super friendly and helpful staff, with very clear advice and service about anything. Everything was very clean and well kept; it is truly a peaceful beautiful former house, in the middle of the busy streets, but inside fully tranquil. Perfect for a short stay in Marrakech. If we ever come back to this part, we would book it again.

This is not a complaint, but when you book: realise that this is a former house, where the rooms are facing inwards. This means there are now windows towards outside, and the rooms can be rather small (but very beautiful).

The best Riad in Marrakesh, undoubtedly. The decor in the hotel including the rooms is amazing, but above everything what touched our heart is their amazing hospitality. We have travelled more than 25 countries but we have never come across such warmth and love showed by the hotel staff - it is beyond imagination. They packed food for us when we were leaving for the airport. They carried our suitcases and loaded in the car. Ahmed, the manger, even accompanied us to a store to make sure we are buying the right product at the right price. Just incredible hospitality - we are so touched. I would highly highly highly recommend everyone to look no further and book at Dar Anika for the stay in Marrakesh.
