We loved our stay in February 24. Above all was the friendliness of the staff. Also, when we had a medical problem they bent over backwards to support us. We had a very big room for 3. We liked the quietness. No noise, so you could rest after a busy day. We liked the breakfeast with omelettes, croissants, fruits, Maroccan pancakes etc. The riad is situated 100m from the city walls where you enter he old city center (the medina) via Rue Bab Doukkala. 20 min by foot to the main square (Djemaa el Fna).

Really no big negatives. It is hard to find but they offer free pick-up (highly recommended). WLAN was sometimes unstable.

We decided to check into the Riad after the Moga festival in Essaouira and I am so glad we took the risk and booked this hotel despite there being no reviews on booking.com .. (Riad El Hara opened up less than 3 weeks ago) The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a Riad in Marrakech. All the rooms have a different Moroccan theme and are fully equipped with a coffee maker, a fully stacked mini-bar, and fresh fruit, nuts, etc upon arrival. They have a spa in the hotel where we enjoyed hammams and massages without even having to step a foot out of the door. You are within walking distance from all the tourist places in the city center, super close to the medina but right outside of the walls, so it's nice and quiet. This riad is definitely a hidden gem!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad El Hara in Marrakesh, and I can't recommend it highly enough!From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The service was incredible—the staff were absolutely faultless and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their recommendations for restaurants and activities were brilliant and truly enhanced my experience in the city.To make our stay even more special, they arranged a small celebration for my husband's birthday, which was a wonderful surprise and added a personal touch to our visit. The welcome mint tea was a lovely touch that set the tone for my entire stay.The riad itself is beautifully designed, with stunning traditional Moroccan architecture that truly captures the essence of the culture. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and adorned with lovely decor. I appreciated the comfortable bed, which provided a perfect night's sleep after exploring the vibrant streets of Marrakesh.One of my favorite aspects of Riad El Hara was the beautiful courtyard, complete with a plunge pool that was perfect for relaxing during the hotter parts of the day. The rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of the Medina, especially at sunset—an experience I’ll never forget.I also enjoyed the delicious meals served at the riad; the Moroccan cuisine was a delightful exploration of flavors. Each dish I tried was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh, local ingredients.Overall, my stay at Riad El Hara was an enchanting experience filled with comfort, charm, and a touch of luxury. The Riad was very clean! We also loved how quiet it was. We were in Room Amira which was very spacious. I think the biggest highlight were the staff! The customer service and attention to detail is amazing. There is so so many good things to say about this location, in short they really did try to cater to our needs. Thanks to Karima, Ali, Mohammed and the rest of the staff for making it a wonderful stay! We will definitely be coming back soon.

Every room has its own wifi access point and for the room we were in (Amira), the room wifi wasn’t really working on our devices but the good thing was there were other wifi connections to connect to, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Every single thing about Riad El Hara is exceptional. The warmest of welcomes from Karima on arrival. The absolutely wonderful team that take care of every request with a bright smile The delicious and ever changing breakfast on the rooftop. The most beautiful of rooms, with every detail considered, and different fruits and treats left daily. The Riad is located just outside of the Medina walls (the old city) and just a short walk from Gueliz (the new city) so the best of both worlds on the doorstep. Karima arranged our collection from and return to the airport, she also booked restaurants for us, and had taxis waiting for us any time we needed. We had a wonderful trip to the Ourika valley all organised by the team. I could go on. 10 out of 10 isn't enough!

Absolutely nothing.

The property was beautiful. It was beautifully & tastefully decorated. The cleaners did an amazing job, keeping it clean & spotless. Our room was stunning, we were greeted by fresh fruit and roasted corn + nuts, which were refreshed daily. Karima is an excellent manager & host. A genuinely lovely warm person. She always had a smile and a chat with us. Her primary concern was that we were happy, comfortable & felt at home - which we did. She sat with us when we first arrived and greeted us with water, mint tea & Moroccan biscuits. The staff were wonderful and kind. Both Mohamed & Omar were so helpful & always greeted us smiling & making sure that we were looked after. Genuinely lovely people. Also the lovely hardworking & smiley cook Khartoum. The ladies in the spa Latifa (and I forgot the other ladies name) were amazing too. I had a wonderful Hammam and massage. Definitely recommend it. We loved the location of the Riad which was 10 minutes outside of the Medina. We were close enough to enter into the medina when we wanted, but far enough away from the chaos. :) There was a shop 1 minute away where you could buy drinks and snack. Also a cash machine 5-10 mins away. We loved our stay at Riad El Hara and will definitely stay there again whenever we are in Marrakech.

Our 1st time in Morocco. We weren’t sure whether to book a Riad or a hotel. I am so glad we booked El Hara. It was a little haven of quiet and calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Karima and her team were wonderful. We were greeted warmly and given mint tea. They were on hand 24/7 and very happy to help with anything we needed- booking restaurants, taxis, a tour of the Medina with an excellent guide. I had a hammam and a massage in the spa which were amazing. The products used were 1st class. Breakfasts were generous and so many different elements(fruit, breads, cake, porridge, yoghurt, eggs and more…) . Impossible to go hungry. Our room, Sultan, was spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. In summary, a great place to stay.

Arrived to the warmest welcome ever - the host, Karima actually came out to meet us and called us by name. The entire Riad was beautifully decorated and we were made to feel like honoured guests. Our rooms were clean and richly decorated. Our every request was attended to and we were made to feel like our additional requests were not impositions at all (leaving our luggage till late afternoon, needing more water/tea, calling cabs and waiting with us while they come). Love the place and will definitely stay there again if we visit Morocco.

Nothing! There exterior lane of the Riad is a little run down and we initially thought we had booked a dud but we were so pleasantly surprised when we entered the Riad itself.

This charming Riad is perfectly located just outside of the city walls, a 15 minute drive from the airport. I personally was so glad we were outside as it seemed very busy within the walls. The staff team were attentive and so pleasant, couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. Nothing was a problem to them, from getting ice to organising taxis. The rooms were beautifully designed, each different in style. Our room was spacious and so clean. Towels, water and toiletries were changed each day. The smells within the Riad and rooms were gorgeous, it always smelled like a spa resort, so fresh. Breakfast was included in the rate which is a true bonus as the food is amazing! We definitely recommend this accommodation without hesitation.
