The team working there is excellent. Very professional very kind helpful in every way. We loved the courtyard, which was so peaceful and relaxing. My children loved the cat bum bum. We absolutely love the breakfast that was served every morning as it was different menu each morning with very beautiful presentation. The staff was very accommodating to our times and served us breakfast even before breakfast hours were available to accommodate us for our excursions

The bedrooms and bathrooms are a little rundown. Minor renovations will definitely up the game for this Riad. The shower drains need to be addressed some screws Need to be tightened some light fixtures Need to be fixed to make the room a little bit brighter.

We loved our say at Riad Al Nour. It's clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. It's tucked down a little alley off the medina and it was peaceful and quiet -- it felt like an oasis from the business of the city/medina. The room has everything you need to be comfortable. The staff is amazing! Very friendly and helped us in anyway they could. They gave us an overview of the city, suggested places to go and helped us organize a taxi to the airport. The breakfast is delicious and very filling for a day of adventuring. The location is great too, right in the medina and close to all attractions (15 minute walk to the Marjolle Jardin and Jemma el-Fnaa square). We felt very safe and comfortable here.

It was a bit hard to find at first (but this is such a minor point!).

We had an wonderful experience staying and hotel al Nour. Manager Mohamed and staff Kamal are wonderful. You can approach to Mohamed anytime and he would help you out with anything. Whenever, we needed any help, Mohamed was always there for us. Also it's an excellent location, 15-20 minutes walk to medina/ Jma el fena or even new part of the town. Had wonderful breakfast everyday and it was so much fulfilling with different types of bread everyday. Even in the last day when we were struggling to find a weighing scale for luggage, Mohamed managed to borrow one for us. Definitely would return if we come back to Marrakesh

I knew I was in the right place when Bon bon (the cat) welcomed us upon our arrival at the riad, he's so sweet. The staff is really nice. Muhamed greeted us with a lot of information about the area surrounding the hotel which is extremely useful. The building is amazingly beautiful. It's really a dream to stay there. The breakfast is very good.

Even though the place is incredible, it could use some update. The bathroom experience was not great as the shower was way too high and I had to lean forward so the water could reach me. Also the toilet seat was pretty old. There was no wifi signal on the second floor, like, at all.

Great location just tucked away from the local souk so very quiet despite being central. Kept very clean. Lovely courtyard and fresh breakfasts, plus a takeaway breakfast if out all day. Helpful staff (kamil on hand always, when does he rest?!). Airport transfers arranged and met/walked to correct taxi/riad at either side. Large room with aircon. Pretty riad.

Not having a key for the main front door. Wifi didn't work for us on the top floor (fine when we came downstairs though). Shower not very powerful.

After visiting other cities in Morocco and sleeping in different Riads across the country I can say with no doubts that the welcoming and the warmth of the staff at Al Nour are unmatched. I booked after advice from a friend and I absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Marrakech. The position is ideal, halfway between the old centre with the Souks and the New city with the Majorelle garden. It's super central but at the same time it's an oasis of peace from the chaos of the medina. Mohammed welcomed us with warm tea and giving us all the information we needed and they even packed our breakfast for our early departure. The room was big with a lovely bathroom and a terrace and we had a lot of privacy. Last but not least they have a very friendly and cute cat named Bonbon which will keep you company during breakfast. Best to know: the Riad is very close to a Mosque so you will hear the call to prayer at 4:30 am but it's very short and even so it was the most quiet riad we have stayed at. Not a downside at all, just something to be aware if you are not used to.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options in generous quantities. The welcome service was warm and hospitable, making me feel right at home. The riad's courtyard was stunning and provided a tranquil retreat. Additionally, the location was very convenient, with just a short 15-minute walk along a main street to reach the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square.

The air-conditioning stopped working on our last night. Although the staff made every effort to fix it promptly, it was an unfortunate situation. I wouldn't categorize this as a negative experience but rather as a bit of bad luck.

I sent pictures to everyone and said this is not a photo from some palace tour I'm on, this is my room! They were blown away. The manager is super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. I would recommend this riad to anyone.

Google maps gives wrong directions. It sends you down the first left north of the mosque and doesn't even know about the correct alley way. The sign you have on the wall is oriented for people coming through the gate from the north. But you can't see it if you're coming from the mosque. It would be good if your confirmation email contained a detailed map of the area just around the riad and good instructions for walking from the mosque.

It was one of the best places I've ever stayed, not just in Morocco. We wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately, the riad was fully booked, so that wasn't possible. Mohammed, the riad manager, was incredibly keen to ensure we enjoyed not only our stay in the riad but also our time in Marrakech. He was extremely helpful, always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. The entire team was amazing and made our stay truly memorable. The riad's location was within walking distance of the Medina and Jemaa el-Fna. The riad itself is incredibly beautiful and tranquil. It's top-notch. I'll definitely return if I come back to Marrakech and highly recommend it.

There’s nothing to dislike.

Mohammed the owner was an incredibly nice helpful informative owner who had great people skills and sense of humour. The other main staff Kamel was a great member of staff too. Amazing breakfast and had a brilliant evening meal there one night Really beautiful authentic Riad, truly gorgeous inside, like a living aviary Make sure you get the transport via them from airport as they meet you, quite hard to find. Fantastic location in middle of Medina, but it means you are in Marrakech crazyness straight away.

Loved the call to prayer but you need to be prepared to be woken early. Although quiet Medina there was occasional party noise from local city
