We stayed as a family of 3 and a second booking for a family of 4. The Riad was a stunning hidden gem. I am so grateful I came across it. The ambience and decor was perfect. It was very cool in the highest of summer heat. If you want to feel the history of Marrakech - this is the Riad to stay in. It is the staff that add to this experience. Amin and Zouhair, with their wonderful team of smiley ladies were vital to making us feel very welcome. They were very kind, approachable and friendly at all times- no job was too big! We looked forward to the daily breakfast, which was provided by the lovely cooks. It was always different and full of variety. The peace and tranquility in the Riad was serene - leaving the hustle and bustle at the entrance! We will definitely be staying with Marrakech Riads again - hopefully sooner rather than later! A Hidden gem in the medina - Central location - rooftop terrace - lovely suite (parika) and dipping pool - gorgeous 16th C moroccan architecture - lovely breakfast served when you want - complimentary mint tea - Mohammad at front desk was incredibly helpful and delivered an exceptional service

- The rooftop is lovely to sit out on but no music/ambience and it's a small riad so there's no bar /cafe etc but you can order food and water from staff - type of building means it can be echoey depending on whats going on within riad - soft furnishings lovely but a little faded/old/worn in places compared to online photos - medina location not for everyone (busy little side streets with a blink and you'll miss it entrance) we loved it but did take Time to find our bearings! - a short taxi ride to places outwith medina. Walking distance too if prepared to walk longer.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Spice escaping from the cold and damp of a UK winter for a few days of Marrakech winter sun. The Riad is very well appointed with a comfortable bed and pillows. The en-suite had a great bath and shower. We enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace catching the sun set. The Riad organised a taxi from and to the airport at a very reasonable cost and one of the Riad staff met the taxi when we arrived and took us to the meeting point on the morning of our departure. Essential as the route to the Riad is quite winding. We had the breakfast option which set us up well for the day and the tagine meal on the evening we arrived which was really tasty. The real stars are the staff of the Riad who are very friendly, helpful and full of information which made our stay in Marrakech all the more memorable.

Delightful breakfast with everything you could wish for. The Riad is a cool refuge even in 35° heat. Large bedroom and sitting area, large bathroom with hot water all day and lovely shampoos etc. Lovely roof terraces, very good location, and best of all, absolutely wonderful, charming, helpful, kind and informative crew who work there. Our daughter had stayed here six months before and she recommended it to us. She was right. The whole Riad has been brilliantly conceived and executed as a calm and relaxing place to stay. BTW, the Riad also has an excellent and very useful App with a most useful interactive map.

The Riad is probably less suitable for people with mobility issues - especially to walk up to the roof terrace.

The Riad is really beautiful and clean, as in the photos, and located in the center of Marrakech. The food is amazing, breakfast really typical and enjoyable from every part of the Riad, also in the rooftop. People working in the Riad are very friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. They are always available for any kind of need. Amine helped us a lot, giving really useful advices and he was always available for everything, suggesting us beautiful places and experiences in Marrakech. Finally, our room was really authentic and stylish.

The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. It was in the middle of the Souk / Medina, so very central. There is a great terrace where we watched the sun rise, lay in the sun, and had a nice cuppa and cakes in the afternoon. Brilliant view.

The room was quite softly lit, with the only good light above the bathroom sink. I think this is traditional for Riads, but would have been great to have a good overhead light in one of the rooms. Most appliances had English plugs. They gave an adapter, but we could have done with a couple more. so little things really.

The property was centrally located in the medina and was simply stunning! From the moment we entered and got our first sight of the Riad, it was magical. The decor is immaculate and the team (zouhair and Mohamed) were incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the service offered was very intuitive. Breakfast was delicious and the views from the rooftop were stunning.

The only thing that my friend had an issue with was that the bed was too hard for her. I however, slept really well.

Very beautiful and peaceful surroundings, quiet compared to the hustle and bustle on the streets. Always greeted with a smile and a tray of mint tea by the pool or rooftop to relax. Homemade style cooking from the ladies at the Riad felt homely. Breakfast was great and dinner too. The ground floor was cool and great to hangout to run away from the +30c temperatures outside. The staff was very friendly and always eager to offer help and accommodate our random needs and asks with a smile.

Nothing to complain about really, would just advise fellow travelers to bring in earplugs as this is a very communal space and you hear everything outside the room because of the acoustics with the open patio, if it’s Ramadan and you are a light sleeper you might hear prayers throughout the night too. The taller girls found the beds a bit on the small side. As a group of girls the only thing that we missed in the room was space to put all the hundreds of cosmetics, accessories, clothes and shoes.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the Medina. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff here. Breakfast was served whenever we wanted it, and was absolutely delicious every day. Our room was beautiful, with a really great shower, and comfortable bed. The small pool was perfect for a cool off dip, and the terrace is stunning and really private so sunbathing was comfortable.

There wasn't a single thing i didn't like about this Riad.

Staff of Riad Spice gave us an excellent and exceptional service. Especially Zouhair. They were very professional. I asked whether I could get a room in the upper floor they made all the arrangement and we were given a better room in the upper floor next day. Zouhair asked us to download an application on our mobile phone where we could find our way back to the Riad without getting lost in the Souk. Also the staff were very helpful in helping us to find the locations.

I think the Riad should have provided a variety in breakfast. The girls in the kitchen did an amazing job serving each and every individuals breakfast different times according to the place of their preference like, roof top, in their rooms etc. I think it would have easy for the kitchen staff if they arrange a buffet from may be 6.30am till 10am.( All the excursions from Marrakech start at 8pm and we had to be at the meeting point by 8am) Eventhough our booking was inclusive of breakfast we missed breakfast 3 days. Anyway the staff tried their very best to give us a packed breakfast.
