First stay in a Riad so not sure what to expect but this was a lovely family run Riad with a warm welcome and friendly service. We only stayed one night but would happily have spent more time here. Top breakfast in the morning. Excellent!

Wifi was not good in our room. The walls are thin so you would need to be quiet.

Of our two weeks in Morocco, we had our best coffee at this riad. The breakfast was simple but very adequate and it included yogurt, eggs, and Moroccan bread, plus accompaniments like olives and jam. Our room was terrific. It was a swirl of color and pattern that made it feel exotic and Moroccan. The courtyard, where breakfast was served had tiled columns, walls, and floor. The rooftop was glorious with colorful tables, chairs and lounges, plus an upstairs toilet. They arranged for the taxi from the airport as well as good transportation to our next location in Rabat. The competent staff met us at the dropoff and took us back when we were leaving as we might not have found our way out of the Medina. The location is outstanding. It didn't take us long to figure out our way to the market and on the shopping streets. It always felt safe being surrounded by local residents. Unlike our home country, you don't have to worry about being shot. We took the Moroccan Food Tour with Mohammed. It was fabulous and we highly suggest it as he will take you through some of the shopping streets and talk about the culture. If you want to experience something besides a bland and modern hotel, we highly suggest you stay here. We're glad that we paid attention to other reviews and stayed here! We enjoyed the mint tea when we arrived. This riad was also very secure and safe. Half, the time, we didn't bother to lock our room door.

The bed was very firm but the pillows were great!

Dec 19-23 (4 days private room with bathroom) GREAT LOCATION 10/10: at the heart of old medina, super near to Rabat old market. Just 10 minutes walk to Kasbah of the Udayas and the nearest tram stop, that makes it very accessible to all other major tourist sites like the king’s mausoleum, hassan tower, Sale, Marina etc which were all like 5 mins tram ride away. 20 min walk to Rabat Ville train station, i suggest taxi (5 min ride). To avoid taxi scams, use InDrive Taxi App. COMFORT 10/10: Big, cozy, comfortable and stylish instagrammable room in a moroccan cultural way. Nice bed and comforter. With AC for heater / cooling. I liked everything, all of my experience here were all positive.

Our host was extremely helpful with travel information and arrangements: he helped book us a taxi to the Casablanca airport for an early morning departure when we left. He gave us recommendations for restaurants. We stayed with his Riad 3 times in our 3 weeks in Morocco and he let us store our luggage there so we had less to carry on our last week of travel. It felt like "coming home" each time we returned to Dar Ouezzani and a warm welcome! The rooms were all comfortable and had air conditioning. Such a pleasant stay we had!

The host Chaima is wonderfull, so polite and welcoming. It was a very pleasant stay, great location and everything was so clean and beautiful. Thank you, we had a remarkable stay.

The riad is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Breakfast wonderful and the rooftop terrace is truly an oasis of calm. We loved our stay here, the hosts were friendly and super helpful. Organised our transfer to Rabat too..

Nothing...maybe the beautifully door bolt to lock the door, as it was quite noisy. Riads generally are not so soundproofed, so we were conscious this was loud.

Excellent location in the Medina, close to almost all you’d need to see in Rabat. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble . Even organized the return of items left behind , transport and got up at 3 am when we went to airport . Breakfast always great and rooms were very comfortable with a Moroccan setting . Served tea during the day for no extra cost and rooms were always made each day . Don’t let the alleyways of the Medina concern you . Behind the door is a welcome Moroccan style hotel with spacious courtyard and terraces
