I stayed at Riad Majorelle for two weeks and it felt like home :) Thanks to the nice and always smiling staff I felt very welcome. Breakfast was French standard (sweet!) but they always prepared extra omeletts and the mint tea was delicious. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the rooftop terrace was a great place to relax. Despite the language barrier (only one of them knows English) communication worked fine with a fun mixture of French, Arabic, hand & feet.

Small minus: Wifi was pretty unstable and / or not working in my room. My room only had a fan but no air condition.

The location is absolutely amazing. You have access to the entire city (at least the fun touristy spots) at walking distance. The staff was wonderful despite the language barrier. The breakfast was wonderful - the best I've had in morroco.

The only toiletries available was a liquid hand soap. For the first time, I had to take a shower with hand soap. While I like firsts, this one was less than ideal. If you are planning on coming please bring EVERYTHING! I am talking soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, and anything else you need. Also a pair of bathroom slippers would be wonderful, especially for solo-travelers like me who rarely have space for such amenties

Truly unique due to the old Medina location right in the heart of the local experience w/ beautiful markets everywhere. This family home itself was stunningly ornate and so very beautiful. The hostess esp w/her entire family (and kitchen employees I think?!) was so very accommodating. As a first language English speaker second language French speaker and non-Arabic speaker not only was she so very patient w/my attempts but warm friendly and so kind. The rooftop and mint tea + homemade cookies set it a level above. Spacious & scenic!

I liked everything about this experience but I would say for people who are not necessarily intrepid travelers and spook easily at night, maybe make sure to check-in while it is light outside as it could be a little uncertain at night even if you are generally a hearty traveler.

- Wonderful breakfast (super generous portion!) - Great location in Rabat Medina. There are great restaurants and stalls selling traditional Moroccan cookies nearby. - Staff were friendly and kind even though they speak little English - Comfortable bed with a proper blanket (rarity among similar properties in Morocco) - Clean room - Toilet with a bidet

- They don't accept cards for payment (cash or bank transfer only) - Bathroom is rather small and the showerhead is right above the toilet - Bidet not properly attached - Not accessible by car - Noise from the street

Rabat, the ravishing capital of Morocco was a pleasant one night stay. Words cannot describe on how impressed I was while visiting. I ventured to the Medina and the moment I arrived at 'Riad Majorelle' I was greeted with kindness and warm, welcoming smiles as I am escorted to a table in the main foyer to unwind while enjoying Moroccan tea and biscuits which hit the spot. I got a grand tour of my quarters and the view from the terrace was a beautiful moment. It was close to 'Plague Rabat Oudayas' and of course you are residing inside the Medina which boasts high morale, fantastic folks, exquisite merchandise and the gastronomy which will satisfy your appetite. It was such a nice treat when I found out that breakfast would be served in the morning which was a nice touch. I observed the other guests and they were quite smitten at how nice the were ladies were. My room was just what this low maintenance individual required. I felt right at home.

I did not like the fact that I stayed for only one evening. A two night stay would have been preferable. A tip for everyone who is travelling solo to Rabat, enjoy and stay a couple of nights, it is well worth it.

This Riad was in a lovely spot in Rabat in the historic medina. We stayed for 1 night and had a lovely time. The host was a lovely lady who owned the Riad. She was very kind, drawing us pictures detailing how to get to different spots in Rabat. She also give us advice about the best spot to eat nearby - it was a delicious meal with a beautiful view over the medina. The room was an ideal size. The bed was comfy and the air-conditioning was great. The breakfast was tasty and varied.

The shower was above the toilet due to the compactness of the bathroom. This was an interesting design, but functioned well. It did however mean the bathroom was flooded and took a while to dry after showering.

Unbeatable hospitality. A lovely breakfast in a fabulous location.

Although it’s absolutely no fault or issue of the Riad. There’s a pet shop nearby and some of the small dogs are caged up on the roof top. The dogs are distressed and sound as if they are distressed. This was quite upsetting.

The staff and owners were very generous and welcoming. They did everything to make sure we were comfortable and well looked-after. Owners invited us to share iftar with their family which was very kind of them. Initially we got upgrade to a better room for free as the room we booked was undergoing a minor renovation. Breakfast was delicious, large portions with good variety of local cuisine. Amazing location in the heart of medina, close to trams, buses, and rail station. Lovely in-house cat!

The room we booked had a window that backed onto a noisy street. Owners and staff don't speak fluent English so there was a bit of a language barrier but we have managed to communicate effectively.

I loved how clean the property was, the staff were friendly and always smiling, the interior design was breathtaking. the location of the property was excellent, it was in the heart of the old medina and close to the oudayas and the beach so we walked only for few minutes to get to these places.

To be honest everything there was great but I feel like that there are some things that need some tiny improvments. for example the breakfast was all great but the msemen's quality was a bit low. the terrace was good but we couldn't stay there in the morning because of the sun. the riad is great but it needs to be promoted more on social media.

The riad is absolutely stunning like just wow you walk and feel like you're in a palace. Friendly staff, so kind and welcomed us early. Great communication prior. Breakfast was so good! Bed was very comfortable.

Our room was facing the street and the window was open so it was a.bit loud but we still slept really well. I'd say if you're a light sleeper id make sure your room is at the back of the riad.
