ONOMO Hotel Tanger Med

Near to harbour Tanger Med. Secure parking! Delicious breakfast! Nice service! Comfortable rooms! Good price! Attention: tricky to find. It is in the upper level of the building, which is only accessible via another entrance in the roundabout near by.

Room was clean and modern. Shower was really good and fantastic location for an early ferry from the port. Plenty of parking.

Maybe it was just the night we were there but there was only one person serving in the restaurant. We were a group of 6 but it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it did it wasn't good. Some of the party had cold food. On the plus side, it was cheap! We also checked out at 7am, however there was no-one on the desk for us to check out with, so we ended up just leaving our room cards on the check in desk.

The room was quiet, clean, modern and comfortable. The manager was friendly and professional and made us feel welcome. On one hand, there's really no view, just the cranes and the docks, of course that's what makes the location great in that it's right next to the port. We were also quite happy there was a restaurant on site, as there nothing else within walking distance. The dinner was simple, yet fresh and well prepared. There was a big screen tv next to the restaurant bar area where other guests were enjoying a football game. We had to leave too early for breakfast, but the manager thoughtfully brought us espresso and cafe con leche.

Not the hotel's fault, but there really is nothing else there other than the port. Something to keep in mind if you're expecting more than just a good place to stay next to the port.

We had anticipated a taxi ride to the ferry terminal so were pleasantly surprised when the desk clerk kindly showed us we only needed to walk down a hallway and one flight of stairs and there were all the facilities for checking in for the ferry. That was the best surprise of the trip. Dinner was excellent. I loved the view of the port from our window but found it quiet in the room.

Americans tend to eat dinner earlier but the 8 PM start was anticipated.

Loved the minimalist but the design and highly efficient layout of the rooms. Award winning 🥇 Guarded parking right in front was a premium feature. Breakfast was excellent. They even served omelettes. Unbeatable for the price and 3 minute drive to the port. We will definitely return. Rooms have a window that opens allowing fresh air to come in. Loved the small safe tucked away under the desk. Great “Amazonian” rainforest style shower. Liked he elegant lighting around the mirror.

Excellent location if have to catch ferry early. Even though a bit more expensive than other places in Tangier, it’s worth the money considering taxis charged me 300MAD to the port. My advise: Catch the bus early afternoon to the port and sleep in hotel fir next morning departure. Bus I3 (bus stop in street between Tangerville station and Ibis hotel) is 12MAD and is a lovely 45min drive along the coast. It stops about 600m from Onomo hotel - safe walking distance even though I arrived at 10PM.

Full dinner a bit expensive, but fair starter option available.

Tanger Med is not a great place to stay in general (nothing to do), but we arrived on bikes from Spain in early evening so had to stay. This hotel was a highlight of our 2 days to recalibrate in a place that has little else to recommend it. Staff were friendly, rooms are nice.

All the staff were welcoming and remained so throughout my stay. My room was spacious, clean and tidy on my arrival and the shower had plenty of hot water. The evening meal was a lovely soup and steak with vegetables and the the only waiter did well in meeting the needs of a number of customers although, I suspected he would have liked some help. Breakfast was really filling and waiting staff helpful and pleasant. The hotel had a great industrial and functional feel which I loved and a great location for the port. I would have no hesitation in coming back.

The room was nice but very minimalistic. The free breakfast was quite good. The young woman at the front desk was very patient with me in my frustration that I booked on the wrong side of Tanger.

This is not a place to stay if you have no car, it is near nothing other than ferry ports & shipping yards. The restaurant needs printed menus to minimize language barriers as the wait staff is not multilingual and neither am I.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Very very clean hotel. Morden look and feel. Car park is generous and security is on 24/7. The price is very affordable for this type of hotel.

The location was a bit awkward but if you are taking the ferry, the place is just perfect. It’s 45 km away from Tanger therefore make sure you know what to expect. The sea view is more a sea freight view but you get what you pay for. With all that I still recommend the place but don’t rely on you GPS to get you there but you get direction
