Location of this hotel is exceptional. View from the balcony (we had room with a view on a first floor) was great: as promised you could see cost of Africa. They even have binoculars in the room. We could see port of Tarifa. We didn't use pool, just picked at it and it was very nice rooftop pool with a view. Parking was located underground which was very convenient. Breakfast buffet was excellent, I enjoyed selection of fruit, they even had persimmons! Room was clean and so bed sheets. Daily room cleaning. On Fridays there is live music in hotel's restaurant. I wish we got upgraded to rooms on second floor but that wasn't an option. We enjoyed our stay and I recommend the hotel highly.

I would stay in this hotel again without reservations. However to make my review useful to others I would point out some things that are not ideal. We had very tall bathtub combined with shower. It wasn't great to get in and out but then it was as pictured. I was glad I had my own shampoo etc. since hotel uses refillable containers. Our room was situated above restaurant's outdoor seating and smell of food was strong at times. Temperature controls prevent setting temperature lower than 21 degrees.

The hotel has beautiful décor with a Moroccan influence. It is very clean with a comfortable bed in a spacious room. Parking can be booked internally. The showering products and welcome mini bar are wonderful. The hotel is close to the Port and Ferry terminal which was ideal for our trip across to Tangier. There are lots of restaurants and tapas bars within easy walking distance. The hotel reception and breakfast staff were great.

The room was very hot when we came in each day after travelling, and the air conditioning unit was sluggish - it was also set so it would not go below 21 degrees (but the embodied heat was greater). When we opened the doors for better ventilation/ cooling, but it was very noisy - mainly from large seagulls that seem to be awake all through the night! While we appreciated and supported the no plastics and sustainable aspects- the inability to have a room that we could cool to a comfortable sleeping temperature particularly for the cost per night, did not represent value for money for us, in all other respects, it was excellent.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The view from the rooftop pool was amazing. The location was perfect for our day trip, via ferry, to Tangier. The ferry terminal is just a few minutes walk away. Our room had a nice little patio with small table. The second night (after a long day trip to Morocco) we enjoyed sitting on the patio.

We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant the first night. The food was just ok and was rather expensive for the quality and quantity we received. Much higher than we paid elsewhere, at much nice hotel restaurants in Spain. Drinks at the bar are quite steep to, compared to elsewhere in Spain.

Room and Hotel are sparkling clean 👍. Location is very convenient to visit the old town or catch a ferry to Morocco. Unfortunately the Restaurant was still closed 😫 The Breakfast Buffet was very fresh , tasty and plentiful .The Mangement is very keen of keeping things environmentally friendly 👍👍. Parking on site is a plus and 15,00 Euros is a fare price. We liked our stay sooooo much , we booked, right away , 2 nights for the month of November . This Hotel is an undiscovered Gem 💎

You can look and look around , you won't find anything to complain 😉

Such a great place to stay to base your exploration of Morocco. Close to the ferry dock and the old town. The staff were wonderful. The food at the restaurant was really good too. A great roof top pool to soak in the views of the ocean and coast of Africa. Good parking garage available too if you are driving here.

These things did not affect my overall rating as they were beyond the control of the hotel. First, it is windy, like really windy here. Was not prepared for that. There was a constant sound from the wind all night in our room. Second, the hotel can be easy to drive by and miss. Best thing to do is look for the outdoor seating for El Patio. Lastly, the noise from the room above was quite bothersome. I believe they had small children that started running around at 5 AM. It's our bad for not alerting the hotel to this, so again, not a knock on the accommodations. They were great!

Lovely refurbished historical building. The buffet breakfast was the best we encountered across Southern Spain. The room had a mini bar, beach/pool towels and a pair of binoculars. Very short walk to the old town, the mediterranean beach and the Atlantic beach. great staff. Spa facilities if needed. Some nice touches like filtered water on every floor, ice creams in foyer on hot days and popcorn in the afternoon. very thoughtful. Pool area lovely with a great view and a soft touch pool, open long hours.

Great hotel right next to old town, marina, ferry to Tanger, and beach. The full service hotel has a great restaurant (including delicious breakfast), spa, parking, rooftop pool. We opted for a courtyard view that came with a Juliet balcony. All staff were friendly and helpful. Ate dinner at the restaurant and it was the best meal we had in Tarifina. Can't recommend enough.

No complaints at all

Amazing hotel!! Great decoration, great rooms, great breakfast and great location. Just a few meters from the Center, the beach and right in front of the port. The views from the terrace overlooking the African mountains, the border of the oceans and the port are just beautiful, and the headed pool was top notch. If you have time, book a yoga class. They’re free and it was a great way to start the day, specially the yoga class that takes part inside of the hotel’s pool. We enjoyed everything about our stay in the hotel.

Beautiful, spacious room and bathroom with good facilities in a fantastic location, a short walk from the port, old town and beaches. Breakfast buffet had a great choice and was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. What really stood out for me though were the lots of little touches designed to make a guest's stay more comfortable. For example, when I was asked what time I wanted to have breakfast and I explained I'd booked an early morning ferry to Tangier, they offered me a takeaway picnic cold breakfast which was lovely. Also, small details like USB ports for charging your devices, and a smart TV that allowed you to stream your own TV apps from your phone.

The breakfast had an excellent selection, and was mouthwateringly prepared! The café restaurant space is super cozy and has delicious food and drinks. I loved the rooftop pool and also enjoyed a free yoga lesson that was exceptionally nice.

there’s quite some noise from the harbor, which I didn’t anticipate so I had a bit of trouble sleeping at night. And the hotel swimming pool is awesome but it would be great to be able to swim early in the morning. (it’s only opened up at 10 AM.)
