Everything is outstanding. The service, the (fresh) food, the peaceful and sleek environment. The tropical garden is heavenly and quiet, in the heart of Kathmandu. You don’t hear anything from the street, only a zen music background, the charming noise of the flowing water from the stunning fountain. It’s a very safe place, with amazing security guards. The rooms are super clean, spacious, and neat. We felt like home. Thank you a million times for making our Kathmandu trip so special.

Flew over from San Francisco all the way to KTM and stayed in this beautiful property peacefully tucked away in the center of Thamel. The service provided by the polite staff was exceptional and the location of the hotel made it accessible to visit anywhere around town. The rooms were clean with very comfortable beds and offered an insight to Nepali Heritage. This hotel was the only hotel I could find that was in Thamel but offered peace due to the luscious tropical courtyard that had a vast range of greenery which made Hotel Thrive a blissful getaway from the chaos in the area. I would also highly recommend trying the Pork chop here.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly with great service. Really appreciated the property as well, the tropical greenery in the middle of Kathmandu is truly a blessing.

I love everything about this hotel. Location can't be better, right in the bustling Thamel area but surprisingly quiet. Hotel is brand new, everything is neat and clean. The staff are very attentive and not to mention super friendly. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable. The bathtub in executive room is one of the highlight. My favorite part of the hotel is the jungle-like courtyard. It's so green and fresh, sitting on the sofa for a drink is the best way to wash out the hectic day of sightseeing or whatever you do in this bustling city.

WIFI doesn't seem to be very stable, as well as hot water for shower. But it's really minor issue.

Absolutely lovely and wonderful property. It's new and everything is so clean and great. Rooms are great. The courtyard is awesome. We spent several evenings just sitting in the courtyard and munching on snacks. Staff is great and helpful.

Some amenities are missing as the property is brand new and they are learning as it goes. There are no hand showers only overhead ones. Need to provide shower caps, which are missing. Also, milk powder is not provided. Only coffee / tea sachets. Staff is limited, so room cleaning happens in late afternoon or evening, unless requested. But staff is very cooperative and try to accommodate your requests.

Ok this was just bliss!! Its a new property and it's lush green, well maintained, clean and an absolute delight to live in! The hotel is walking distance from the hustling Thamel market, and accessible to all the tourist spots within 30 mins driving distances. The staff is great and extremely helpful and courteous. We absolutely were blown away ❤️❤️ Thank you team Thrive!!

Well it's a new setup, so the restaurant is not 24X7 & it does take them time to cook up a meal. Not a deal breaker!! It just adds to the leasure and pace of vacay vibes ☺️

We recently stayed at this cozy hotel in Kathmandu and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after exploring the city or the surrounding mountains. What I loved most was the delightful inner jungle garden, which replaced the city noise with a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil stay in Kathmandu!

Everything! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, we arrived late and they were straight on it getting us settled in. The rooms are clean and well decorated, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the shower fab! A brand new hotel keen to welcome its guests.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. As someone who frequently travels to Kathmandu, this was my first time staying in a hotel with this much greenery and nature inside the city and minutes away from the Thamel market. Will definitely come again
