This is actually a great place to stay in central Amsterdam if you book far enough in advance and can get a reservation. For the price point, it blows away similarly priced hotels. Its name includes B&B, but it's not a true B&B as breakfast isn't included. The host is very friendly and accommodating and the location is very close to the museum quarter, which was one of our key reasons for looking for accommodations in this area.

The stairs are brutal, but then, that's Amsterdam (unless you're staying in a big, expensive hotel). The host (bless her heart) actually helped us lug our luggage up the stairs that even goats would have a hard time scaling. What we had to do to get our luggage down the stairs when we left was comical - but we survived. Also, coffee was available in the common kitchen, and not the room. The last thing I want to do in the morning is deal with people (other than my wife, and sometimes not even her!) before having coffee, so we skipped the coffee service.

Great room in a quiet location very close to the center and five minutes walk to the Rijksmuseum and the museum quarter. The room was cozy and clean with comfortable beds and its own fridge. Moreover, there is a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and cookies and a dining room downstairs, and even a possibility to sit outside in a little yard. Our landlady Istika was fantastic, very kind, friendly and helpful, she gave us a lot of useful information and tips how to get around the city and recommendations how to travel and what to see in the surroundings of Amsterdam. Without her, we would have missed quite a lot of great experiences. We felt really at home with her, and we wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely nothing to complain.

Our room with two single beds, (as requested), was quite spacious and overlooked a quiet side street. The bathroom was small but had every facility including a really good shower. Both rooms were spotlessly clean. The location was very good and close to many diverse restaurants and tram stops if you wanted to venture further afield. All the main tourist attractions were within an easy twenty minute stroll and what could be nicer than leisurely, meandering along the canals taking in the attractive houses, bridges, and sights. Our hostess, Istika, was very welcoming, gracious and informative. She told us to help ourselves to everything in the communal kitchen and provided coffee, various teas, biscuits, waffles, fruit and drinks and was always there first thing in the morning to greet us and chat to us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. There is also a small outside patio area with tables and chairs to relax on sunnier days. We really enjoyed out three day stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The host is the warmest person. She was very communicative prior to our stay, gave us toothpaste so we didn’t need to buy a large tubefor our weekend away, gifted us stroopwaffles and kindly let us store our bags after check out. The location was convenient for the museum area and tram stops/ a 30 minute walk to Amsterdam central station. The room was super clean and comfortable beds. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend/return if we are in Amsterdam.

We visited during a heatwave and the aircon was a little lacklustre against the super high temperatures- it ended up being cooler to have the windows open overnight.

Very personalised approach, which was very nice. The room was big enough and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Shower was good, everything clean. The bed was comfortable and I had a special request for a flat soft pillow and I was provided even 2 soft flat pillows. Internet was working great. All very good!

I did listen a bit neighbours (their alarm clock woke me up), but otherwise the room was quiet.

Istika is a fantastic host and helped us to choose the best attractions in Amsterdam during our stay. The location is great and the room was perfectly clean. More than a stay, we made a new friend!

The stairs to the room are somewhat steep and narrow. Safety-wise, it's recommended to ask for the host's help if you are traveling with heavy luggage since she knows how to handle it.

Perfect location, a short walking distance to the park, museums and leidzeplein. The room was nice and clean. Istika is a kind, friendly and helpful host. If you plan on leaving Amsterdam and explore the Netherlands with a rental car, a car rental agency is 1 minute walk away, and the car leaves the agency right next door to the B&B, so getting your things in the car is a breeze.

Host was very friendly and willing to share suggestions of things to do and transportation. She was a very nice host.

If you have much luggage the stairs leading to the bedrooms is something else . However, she was more than ready to help getting them up. There is very little room to lay luggage open except on the bed. But we found this very typical, even in larger hotels.

The location is perfect - just close enough to the city center to have a more relaxed vibe, and so many options for food and activity within a few minutes walk. The room was very clean and very comfortable, and the host, Istika, was such a warm and lovely person. We will absolutely stay here again when we visit the city in the future.
