Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. It had a private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on this. Location is great, with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Within walking distance to most sightseeing attractions.

The only negative comment is that we were on the 3rd floor and the lift/ elevator was out of order for the duration of our stay. The stairs to each floor are very narrow and steep ( which is the case in most properties in Amsterdam), however, this could have been a major problem for someone with mobility issues.

Hotel was close public transport such as the trams which made it easy to get around, close to fast food and great restaurant’s and also had lots of shops near by. Hotel was constantly hot from heating being on but a fan was provided in our room anyways which helped. Our room was a canal view double view was great.

I have stayed in this hotel before one the top floor and needed to use the lift, this time the lift was out of order for our stay but our room was located at the top of only one flight of stairs we were glad not to walk up more though.

The hotel was cute and in a wonderful location making it easy to hop on the tram or walk to the art museums and so much more. Maria at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, checking me in and showing me everything on the map so I could plan out my day. I even had help getting my suitcase down the stairs to check out upon departure. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. I was very comfortable in my room and it had everything I needed.

The only drawback, which I think is common in Amsterdam, was the steep and narrow stairs leading up to my room. I did receive help when asked though so I appreciated that greatly! The stairs were just intimidating to me.

close to where we wanted to be easy access to the shops and tram right at the end of our road the shower in our room was lovely and hot bed was comfy our greeting was lovely we enjoyed our stay as it was a special weekend for us both celebrating our birthdays and Mother’s Day

our room was quite small and when sat on toilet kept hitting ourselves on the sink the room was very hot when we arrive heating on full so we turned it down a bit and our coffee and tea wasn’t restocked we had to go to reception to get more while we were there we popped in to reception a couple times and the receptionist we saw wasn’t very customer focused just sat there on her phone as it was too much trouble shame really as the lady we saw at checkout and checkin was lovey and bubbly

location was central to everything. easy walks or tram stop 200 yards from door. beds were soft and comfortable. bathroom small but plenty of water pressure with a rain shower. Great view of the canal. staff was very helpful and friendly. dropped bags before available check-in without issue.

more of an FYI, stairs are steep but that is expected as the building is very old. we were there during the warm weather spell, were able to open the window to help cool room at night. no top sheet, just bottom and comforter. did not ask for one so can’t complain.

Great location in the city center, very close to tram and bus stops. Good communication with airport (4 min. Walk to bus stop). WiFi was ok. I didnt take breakfast so cant Say anything about the food. The personel was also ok.

The object is Old. Very high stairs, its difficult to get to the reception if you have any mobile disability. Small room. The equipmemt of the room was also pretty old- furnitures, hair dryer. There was also a problem with heater. I could not turn it off and regulate the level of heat.

For anyone who is not familiar with old architecture, the stairs can be scary (winding, steep, and narrow) but because I had looked up reviews and knew what to expect, they didn't bother me. The rooms were nice/clean, the view (dependent on your room) was fantastic, and the location was the best. We were a block away from a bus stop that brought us from Amsterdam Central and we were right in the middle of everything. Very walkable to anything you are looking to do/explore in Amsterdam. Would go back again anyday.

Authentic building in the center of an old city. But with this, everything is so tiny and narrow. Staircases were a shock to me! But our building had an elevator, and we didn't have problems carrying our bags. A bed was OK, there was a kettle, some tea, clean towels (but only 1 for a person)

There was no air conditioning in the room, but we found a working fan inside. Also, someone was screaming at night waking us up, but everything else was fine

The location is perfect as it's a short walk to the centre of the city, but far enough for it to be quiet. The room was nicely decorated and the staff, as always, were amazing!

I mean, for the location, the price is great! But there are some things that could've been better such as enough towels for 2 people and also better folded towels (I wasn't quite sure if they were clean or not), longer curtains so people can't see you getting changed, etc.
