I payed twice what I would normally pay for a hotel room, but the hotel was very nice. The staff were incredibly helpful. The night staff were really good, I turned up late due to a flight delay and both night staff were friendly and informative. The breakfast looked great but as a vegan who doesn't eat wheat there wasn't a lot of options (however, I hadn't informed them of my nutritional requirements) what I did have was very fresh. The room was large and pleasant.

I couldn't work out how to get the waterfall shower to work, it may have been broken. I had to carry my bag up a flight of stairs, although the staff offered to take it for me, I declined.

We had a junior suite located in a corner of the building on the first floor. The room was extremely spacious and the bathroom was huge (it included a bath). The bed was large and comfy. Air-conditioning worked well. A small fridge and safe were useful. The hotel is just outside the major city area. You could walk (probably, about half an hour) but there are trams very close that take you to the city and onto the train station. Buffet breakfast was pretty formulaic but more than adequate.

The room was right next to the lift and stairs and we could hear noisy guests arriving late a night (but not too bad).

It rained each day off and on for the three days in Amsterdam. Chasse, pronounced "Sassy" in English (a General), provided umbrellas for their guest. This was very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, and the room was well lit and comfortable. Be sure to try their homemade croissant. Best I've ever had! The location was a straight shot to the center, which was approx 20-25 walk. Aldi's supermarket is a 3 minute walk away where we discovered the best black licorice candy. Out of the hotel going left is a nice walk along the canal. Vandelpark is a 30-minute walk, and we'll be worth the effort. It sits in a beautiful and upscale location. During our two nights there, we probably walked 20+ miles enjoying the scenes. Be extremely careful with bikers! Some ride extremely fast and serious with their ebikes. This is their means of transportation. Do NOT walk in their lane without caution! On our last day with Chasse, the front desk called us a cab to take us to the port for a cruise. We were picked up by a driver on point who wore a suit and drove a Mercedes Benz. The cost was 22 euros. This gentleman was extremely pleasant and professional. Here, I would not suggest taking a tram if you're going to the port. Lastly, Chasse has the most personable staff. I wish I could remember their names, but they were so incredibly lovely and helpful, making our stay that much more comfortable. Maps with a "YOU ARE HERE" are provided at the front desk, which were a tremendous blessing for getting around.

Chasse does not provide wash clothes for bathing in your rooms. Apparently, this was too costly to maintain. In the lobby area is a guest bathroom. A "Shared" towel is provided for all guests. Lastly, we were told they would do everything possible to give us our room early for check-in bc we arrived at 11:00am. Though our suitcases were stored in a visible locked room, our keys were given to us at 5:00. However, they were gracious enough to give us a bottle of wine for our troubles. Again, very thoughtful.

Not far from the tram station. Initially we were given slightly wrong information but eventually we learnt our way around. Breakfast was ok. I would not say it was excellent. Some days when eggs or fruit or bread finished they weren’t replaced. Room was good as we have booked room with balcony. Clean room and bathroom. Staff was helpful and kind.

Unfortunately due to design of the hotel we did not have a lift to go to our room. We had to carry up all the luggages ourselves to the first floor there was no one to help us. I think it was slightly expensive.

The staff here are fantastic, particularly the lady on the front desk. The breakfast in outstanding and has a good selection of food to choose from. The room was spacious and in a good location so no street noise. Awesome location right next to a tram stop so super easy to get around or to and from the main station which connects to the airport line. No shortage of good neighbourhood bars and restaurants close by also away from all the intensity of the main tourist areas.

Not much we didn't like about this place! However there's no fan in the bathroom, which would be nice for ventilation.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread was very good indeed and the room's air conditioning worked well despite very high temperatures (30+). The location was quiet but with easy tram access to central Amsterdam.

Not a lot to improve on but the bathroom lighting system was a bit rough; unless one continued to move around it automatically turned off after about 20 seconds. No lift access to the deluxe rooms was inconvenient but not a real problem except for those with limited physical ability.

We stayed here for 3d2n, it is close to a tram station, for 2 mins walk, that directly goes to central station and attractions. The breakfast is really good we liked it and there are many options of food with a great ambiance of the breakfast room. The room is big and clean as well as the bathroom. There's a hair blower, soap, bathrobes, towels, iron and ironing board. The staffs are really nice and helpful. I read a review before about the children being loud because the hotel's neigbor is a school, it was not a problem for us because we did not stay the entire time at the hotel we only heard a couple of children shouting and playing in the morning (not super early) but its not that distrubing for us. Would definitely book with this hotel again when we come back.

Nice atmosphere in an old beautiful building. Good location, easy access to tram stop. Great breakfast! Friendly service.

We were in a triple room in top floor, elevator took as far as previous floor so there were some stairs to climb. Stairs inside the room to the upper floor bedroom were quite steep. It was ok for our group, though. Some noise coming from the dance studio that is located in the same building. This we could hear on one evening quite loud and quieter a few times at daytime. Otherwise the room was very quiet, especially at night time.

Stayed only one night in the family suite, but the hotel is very nice. The scenery is incredible, the inside of the hotel is modern, the outside is very attracting, the restaurant area is very luminous and well decorated. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was great! A large choice and all was very good. Every person of the staff we talked to was nice and polite. We had a little keyring each offered at checkout, which is just a little gesture but it makes a difference, and we appreciated our stay even more! I highly recommend if you stay in Amsterdam!

Nothing comes to mind, we loved it!

You need the Michelin Star for the eggs salad. It was exceptional. Custard and strawberry pastry was delicious. Breakfast was perfect. Our Suite was 107 it was beautifully laid out perfect for an Anniversary Get A Way. Tram #13 and #19 is a short black away and runs 5 minutes apart. Aldi's is 3 blocks awat. Great for small items for the mini fridge (juices. Bathed double shower head is terrific. Night receptionist and others were nice. Food staff were extremely kind.

Heating System. Hard to explain. It worked fine when we spoke about it to the night receptionist.
