Very Funky - Quite original. Very Clean. Good Bars for evening relaxation. Staff in general were very helpful and upbeat.

Tried the cooked breakfast first morning and it was very nearly cold! A real shame as it could have been good but they lost our 45 Euros a day business to the great breakfast at the cafe across the 'road'. I'm sure we were not the only ones. One Lift of 3 was inoperable the whole 5 days which was a pain. However, the two remaining lifts for such a modern hotel were SLOW.. AND creaky noises on the middle lift which wasn't reassuring. We live in a modern apartment block and the lifts are way faster.. If I was the hotel management I would seriously consider asking the lift company for faster motors etc. They are out kilter with the 5 Star quality that the hotel is trying to convey - there's only 12 floors anyway!

- great location very close to central station - spacious room with a great view from the higher up floors - our room was already ready in the morning so we could drop our things off in the room

- the water temperature in the shower would randomly get super hot and then cold again. - we didn’t get breakfast at the hotel because it’s quite pricy and there is a great breakfast place right across from the hotel

Great location with bike rental straight opposite, easy Uber to airport (or easy to get to via train). lovely cycle into the city. Great hotel bar, fresh water available in reception, lovely staff, comfy bed. Our second stay here and we’d stay here again!

Beautiful hotel and great staff

The hotel is dirty. Our room had not been vacuumed and was really dirty. The chairs in our room were dirty. The bar/restaurant chairs were badly stained.

We stayed five nights in a Junior Suite. The hotel is located near Amsterdam Centraal, which was very convenient for us, as we could find trains, buses, and most city public transportation to areas of interest. Yet, the hotel was extremely quiet. The room was excellent, clean, spacious, and originally furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern with both a shower and tub. The view from the 8th floor was really great. The staff was excellent and helpful when we needed it.

Minor problem: The shower drainage was rather slow, but spilled over onto the bathroom floor just once.

This is my second stay at Room Mate Aitana and I highly recommend. The staff are so kind and accommodating. The rooms are an excellent size with clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is only a short walk from central station and Dam square. Close to lots of tourist attractions and places to get food/drinks.

Best breakfast in Amsterdam. The room was spacious. Bathrooms and showers are great. Location is great

Carpets need to be cleaner. Or rooms should not have carpets at all.

Location near to central shopping area. Nice view from our window. Parking in nearby. Comfortable bad.

We arrived on an early flight and we really appreciated being able to check in on arrival. This was a huge bonus to us

The room was fantastic and service. Very modern and the views of the waterways were easily seen from our windows and walking. Coffee shop right across the street to start the day with a latte!

Closer to the Amsterdam museum area. It was a 30-45 min. walk to go to the Museum location or just about anywhere, restaurants. For a young person, perfect location. We were okay but several of the others in our group are handicapped. They did use a taxi to go so they could reserve their energy for the required walking at the museums.
