Location is perfect to visit Amsterdam, the best starting point. Very close to the train station and all Amsterdam highligths. Good breakfast, big rooms and nice staff.

Honestly, usually I don’t complain about these things but the pillows must be changed, were very bad.

Great location a five minute walk from the central station and close to the attractions in the city center. It had an elevator in this recent renovated older building. The best thing was the breakfast, it is included in your stay and was a full spread of breakfast items. Yogurts and cereal, a variety of bread and condiments. Scrambled eggs bacon and sausages. A variety of coffee tea and juices. Very friendly staff.

There is road construction in front of the building that created some noise on the weekday but it was quiet during the weekend. There were a few steps up before you could reach the elevator. It was hard for me to lift our big suitcase up those steps.

Incredibly convenient location with fun decor and our room had a big window. Air conditioning was welcomed. Clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and was a Dutch-style breakfast. The staff was kind, and helpful and answered questions prior to our stay. Best coffee. Enjoyed the charm of this hotel. (don't pay any attention to the old reviews .. I had a sense this was an entirely new team and have committed to offering a boutique stay.)

Wondered why there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom, but no switch to turn it on. There was city construction outside but it didn't impede our sleep or room enjoyment. It's a busy location so there are the sounds of the city.

Excellent location by central station in Amsterdam. It’s a somewhat old fashioned style of hotel by current standards, but was spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was good, and the lady running the breakfast area was attentive and very on the ball. No problems with storing luggage after I checked out.

The person on reception who checked me in could have taken the time to explain what he was charging to my card. It was an emergency last minute booking so I wasn’t 100% sure whether payment had already been made via Booking.com, given the rush.

The hotel is across the street from the Central Train Station, a mere 7 minute walk. Everything is within walking distance. You can rent a bike next door. The hotel is front desk is manned 24 hours and is quiet and safe. They serve a very good breakfast.

If you have a heavy bag, the 6 steps in the entry are steep. I was on first floor and had to lift my luggage up 9 more steps to get to my room. there is an elevator for upper floors, but up 3 steps to that elevator. It was a slight inconvenience but not a deal breaker for me.

Hotel Is located very closed to central station. Despite that, area was very safe and I liked to walk in the surroundings. I have been in Amsterdam many times but loved Haarlemstraat and district as plenty of nice places (less touristics and more authentic where eat, having a walk and going for shopping). Location Is very strategic to reach main attractions by walking. Hotel was ok. Room was clean, comfortable and had a window with a city view. Despite that we slept well. Breakfast was nothing special but it's ok. Enough options both sweets and savory.. choice can be improved. Staff was discrete but supportive.

Few issues with amount paid in the beginning but staff was supportive and helped me to get refund for an extra night wrongly paid.

The location is fantastic. Breakfast included with the price offers great value for money.

The tv set always leaves something to desire. When trying to come around in the morning or bringing the mind down when going to bed. A more tuned in tv that receives all channels offered would be great for example: you have a channel for Comedy Central but it didn’t give a picture/signal. Also one night I asked a young chap on the desk for some milk for my room so I could have a tea/coffee and he told me they don’t offer milk for the rooms which was a negative reply as why would you have tea/coffee and have a coffee machine and kettle in the room if you don’t offer?

The location couldn’t be beat. From the airport we took the train to Centraal Station and the hotel is across the street. We were able to walk to the museums, the botanical garden, great restaurants… everywhere we wanted to go. The trams are right there if you don’t want to walk. The building is old and looking a bit “tired”, but it was clean (that’s *really* crucial to us) and comfortable - spacious, with good A/C, and all the amenities you’d hope for - in-room safe, coffee/tea, frig, etc. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast wasn’t fancy but it was perfectly good - yogurt, fruits, pastry, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, tea/coffee/cappuccino etc... There is an elevator, but you do have to manage a few steps here and there with your bags, although they did help with ours. We chose it based on location, cost, and ratings, and would stay there again for sure.

The central location did mean a fair amount of noise on Friday and Saturday nights. It didn’t keep us up, though.

The room was quite warm, mini-bar was full, we had our own teapot, coffee machine and everything needed to make some coffee and tea. The beds were very comfortable. Everything for your comfort is present: even shower caps which was a pleasant surprise. The location is quite decent as well, not far from the central station. Definitely will come back here.

The ceilings were quite low so if you’re above 180 there might be some inconveniences.

From the start the staff were helpful and very friendly. There was a lift to our room which had air conditioning and was of a decent size for a twin. The rooms were spotless and linen changed every day and the room cleaned. The staff at the breakfast room (which was inclusive in the price) were really friendly and very helpful as well. For the food there was a wide range to suit most people and we were both very happy with what was offered.
