Very lucky for our room, everything was super clean, sheets, clean bathrooms, shared toilets, nothing to say, it smelled like cleaning products every day! Wifi was free, TV in the room, clean sink, cleaned glass. The room is really clean, small but ample for sleeping. Good value for money. Maybe we were lucky (given the other comments, we were surprised when we saw the room).The hotel is very well located, with lots of restaurants nearby, in a great neighborhood, 15 min walk from the train station and city center.

There was a move in the street around the hotel during our stay, so there was quite a bit of noise in the morning, but otherwise nothing to say! Be careful, there are a lot of stairs :) Honestly, we were dubious before arriving because of the comments on the platform, especially about cleanliness etc., but in the end we were very surprised - nothing to say! It's largely suitable for 1 week's vacation on a "limited" budget, for couples, friends, etc.

Nice room, fridge, comfy beds, good heater. Good size room for 1 person. Very nice accomodating staff, helped out with everything. Perfectly working wifi. Great area only 10 mins from Centraal station.

I don't wanna say too much cause my stay was perfect. I was ok with it cause i'm short and kinda small, but the beds are quite narrow. Thin walls, i could hear people next door talking loudly. Bit basic for the price tbh.

Overall, it was a great accommodation. If I had to mention something negative, I would say that there were some plaster debris in front of the main entrance door. However, this was just a minor cosmetic issue and did not affect my stay.

Very good location only 10 min walk from the central station. Cozy local surroundings with many bakeries and shops. Overall clean and tidy. The staff was REALLY helpful and the hotel has 2 cats staying in the lobby :)

Would have loved to be able to swap to some other pillows and blankets. Better deep cleaning under beds.

It honestly baffles me how this place has such a low rating. It’s in such a great location, the facilities were very clean, great wifi, a smart tv and fridge in the room, and overall just a great European vibe. I understand the building is older but I personally don’t think that takes away from the experience of staying there at all- especially considering it’s a fantastic price.

The host/receptionist was a very nice and helpful guy. He was able to check us in wayyy early and allowed us to leave our laguagge at the reception after our check out 🙂 we loved the location- right in the center! Everything is in walkimg distance. I can say that all the common areas were cleaned every day, toilets and rooms as well.

The rooms were a bit small for 3 people and the TV didnt work properly, but if youre only there to sleep theought the night, its perfect :)

Alfie, the hotel owner, was exceptional. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that my friend and I had the best possible experience. He gave us a lot of tips, made sure we were comfortable with what we had, and was an amazing person with a lot of wisdom & great life lessons!

The living space was a bit small. The shower was small. The restroom as well.

Wonderful place in the center of the city, the staff is professional and always available to answer and satisfy any requests. The room was cozy, well equipped and with a beautiful view on the central street the hotel resides in. Both the room and the bathrooms were satisfyingly clean, with shampoo and body wash offered by the structure. The hotel doesn't have a breakfast area but there is an excellent cafè literally around the corner. What else can I say, I've had an amazing time there and I recommend it!

Owner was really friendly. Great location and great place for that price. Many shops and cute old buildings near the hotel and could always ask for help if you need anything. Also shampoos, soap, towels etc. available which is great. Would recommend if you need a cheap and comfortable place to sleep.

Excellent location, just 15 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal train station. Friendly and helpfull anfitrian.
