We had an excellent stay at Sir Albert Hotel. Rooms were very clean with comfy beds. The breakfast was payed separately but was exceptionally good. The Buffet was complete with a selection of fresh juices. To top it all, a small menu was presented with a choice of beautifully cooked eggs and coffee/ tea. The staff at the restaurant was very pleasant and professional and reminded us the unique hospitality we used to find in SE Asia.

Unfortunately the valet service for parking was complete and unavailable during our stay. We parked in the public underground parking which is only 70 meters away from the hotel though. The daily rate for the parking was 52€, but was very clean, large and secure.

Excellent room design, comfortable bed and incredible location. If you want to stay in the inner city south Sir Albert is a fantastic place. Ive been to many 5 star hotels and this held up with a few of them. For the price its very good value for money.

Everything was good for the price. Value isnt about being perfect but being great at a competitive price point, which the Sir Albert is. I would add extra things like a fresh water bottle everyday, daily cleaning and a more custom service/communication if you wanted to take it to the absolute highest levels but that would come at an extra cost and I think the Sir Albert fits a great hotel niche as is.

Did not eat the breakfast at hotel as there were many charming places nearby. The neighbourhood has lots of bars and cafes with the museums in easy walking distance and a subway nearby.

The bathroom is not at all private, which was fine for me but could be embarrassing for people not comfortable with that. Small red light district around the corner. Again, this is not an issue and it is easy to avoid.

Breakfast was fantastic and all the facilities are at your fingertips. This is that place where dude parks Bentley outside and comes in with his dog - to pick up an acquaintance. Nobody blinks. Definitely a lot of prestige and privilege, but everybody's civil and courteous. Go here if somebody else is paying. That seems to be the vibe. Early check-in and late check-out is a great bonus - between moves.

Prices are eye watering, with plenty of surprises like taxes not displayed in listing. Everything you touch in there costs another 10EU so bring *water* right?

Location was good for us, room was nice and comfy.

The main drawback was lack of cupboard. We stayed for a week and lived out of a suitcase which was very uncomfortable!!!!!! No drawers, no space to put clothes besides few hagers. We stayed at room 322 which has connecting room. You could hear everything from room 324 which was weird and uncomfortable as well.

Location is perfect, it’s basically at the heart of De Pijp - so many restos, bars, coffee place. Less than 5 mins walk to the Metro, and 15mins walk to Museumplein. Design and aesthetic is very chic. Room is quite sizeable for Amsterdam standard. Bed is very comfortable

All good. If anything I guess, it was quite pricey. Not saying that value for money is bad, but i might reckon i could find slightly better offering in terms of value for money around the area.

Location was perfect for exploring Amsterdam. Lots of restaurants, bars, pretty things to walk around and see but not in the most crowded central area.

It would have been nice if the windows in the hotel room would have opened. We would have enjoyed fresh air in the room.

Lovely property in the perfect location. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable and staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small but standard for large city hotel rooms that we have stayed in.

The twin beds were pushed together, which we actually like because it gives you a bigger overall bed but they kept sliding apart. Maybe some sort of rubber on the feet will keep them from sliding.

Good lighting and handy 'room control' from bedside. Comfortable bed.

Walking through the bathroom area, to reach the seating/bed area. Coming back to the hotel after dinner at 9pm and having to squeeze past a group of men hanging out of the front entrance to smoke was uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel was really good. The design of the hotel was stylish. It is our 2nd stay in the hotel. Our room had a terrace with the canal view. The bad was very comfortable. There was an iron and iron table which is very useful. Reaching to the hotel from the airport by public transportation was quite easy. You take the airport train to Zuid station and than take M52 to De Pijp station. The hotel is around 150-200 m walking from the metro station.

The room was small and there was not enough wardrobe space in the room. The room should be 25 m2 but it was smaller and i think it was because of the terrace space that we had. The toilet was not clean enough but we had our solution to handle it.
