The location is amazing, rooms are cozy. The price is reasonable and provides great value The people there were helpful and very friendly. We got the most basic room for 1 day and still got a welcome glass in the reception and cocktail in the room with free snacks. Easy 10/10

We liked everything. However, it was our first time in Amsterdam so we can’t compare with local hotels.

Location is superb!! If you want to be near the action but not right in it (it can be a but manic in the main canal areas) this place it perfect. Also close to Vondelpark and De Pijp - a very cool area to mix it with the locals! The room was also gorgeous, with the biggest bed I have ever slept in...AND they have a pillow menu for you to choose from. Staff were lovely and always greeted us when we left/arrived back at the hotel. I would definitely stay here again, it is so close to a tram stop with regular trams in to central Amsterdam!

The room was spacious, clean, and had all the facilities that I required. All of the staff were warm and friendly, genuinely so and not just to be polite. The garden and breakfast area are charming and were enjoyable space to have a drink of wine or to start the day with your healthy breakfasts. Being on De Lairessestraat we were very close to the Museums and yet away from most of the big tourist crowds and in amongst the locals.

I had to change my credit card details after I had made the initial booking. Even though I updated your system it still tried to receive payment from the obsolete card.

Good location (proximity to museums and bus / tram stops); spotlessly clean spacious room (not all of the rooms are equally big), comfortable bed and pillows, but mind lack of wardrobe if you come with family for a long stay; breakfast - not much variety but good quality; lovely garden.

shower tub and the whole bathroom solution is a failure :( There is no door to the bathroom section which is RIGHT in front of a huge window without any tulle. I would suggest that the interior designer spends a night in room 206 to understand the level of discomfort (who knows, maybe other rooms do not have this deficiency?)

All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. They contributed enormously to the enjoyment of our visit. The eco-concept of the hotel is very good and works well. The bedroom was simply furnished but well-designed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was generous and good value. Rooms at the back of the hotel are very quiet with a view of gardens, a tennis court, other properties and a school. Future visitors may like to know that all signage and information throughout the hotel is in English.

Only the price - but then, it was Amsterdam and nothing of any quality is cheap. Grab-rails and a non-slip mat in the shower would have been appreciated.

We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights and enjoyed every moment.! It's excellent location for art and and clasical music lovers, close to the center, its cleaness and warm atmosphere thanks to the amazing staff - Yaeli the housekeeper , Cana in charge of the kitchen , Marjolijn and all the others ( apologize for not remembering all the names - but all of them were wonderful!)- Always with a smile and a good will to fulfill our request. The breakfast deliscious ( although some more fresh vegtables whould be gladly accepted (: ) We whould love to come back and recomend to family and freinds

The Conscious Hotel is situated in a fantastic location right by the Museum Square. It is within walking distance to a number of attractions in Amsterdam, and great food options too. The room was more spacious than I expected to find in Amsterdam for this price. The elevator made moving my luggage in and out very easy, and the check-in/out process has been made very streamlined so that you can do it yourself. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with any question I had about the city. I travelled for work, but I would recommend this hotel to people traveling for both work or a holiday. The hotel offers a bike rental service which is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

There is no small fridge in the hotel rooms to store some cold food and drink items. The weather was hot while I visited, and I found myself craving cold drinks when I returned from long bike rides.

The room was very clean, the most comfortable bed I've slept in a hotel, great pillows (they also have a pillow menu to choose from) and the room was well heated (we travelled in January). The location of the hotel was perfect, really close to Museum Quarter and only 20 min walking distance from Jordaan or center. I enjoyed the little hotel garden and wine hour. High quality ingredients for hotel breakfast (organic, fresh).

Since they're a sustainable hotel, they didn't have slippers and the regular vanity kit you find in hotels. I didn't read about this on the website, so we didn't pack slippers or other bath accessories and it was a minor inconvenience. It didn't have a mini bar/fridge in the room. This was a bit inconvenient as well if you wanted to enjoy a cold drink or store some fruits for later, especially in the summer. There was also an error in their system and although we opted for early check in, our room wasn't ready so we had to wait for an additional hour.

The Museum Square hotel is located in a lovely neighborhood with several "off the radar" cafes and restaurants nearby. In addition, the hotel is with walking distance of the most significant and prominent of Amsterdam's museums. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, most are multi-lingual and willing to assist the customers in any way possible.

The lounge and bar seating area isn't very extensive and tables are small. It is difficult for 4 people to comfortably eat breakfast together.

Pretty much everything! The staff were so helpful, the rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, beautifully clean, a lovely breakfast, lovely little touches like a free drink between 5&6pm. Lovely garden and perfect location for the museums and an easy tram ride away from other places.

would have liked more privacy in bathroom … two teens sharing a room so didn’t like the slightly open showers. bath towels could have been a little bigger but otherwise perfect in every way!
