Good location, clean and comfortable room, nice view of the canal. Breakfast included was fine.

Like many of the hotels located in the old houses, the stairs are narrow and high. There is no elevator so if you are disabled or have a lot of luggage it may not be convenient for you.

The property is within short walking distance of Anne Frank’s house and the Royal Palace of Amsterdam. But not in a very busy/touristy location. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. Our baby was also on this trip and the hotel staff were excellent, making sure a cot was in the bedroom, offered to store the pushchair downstairs during the day to save carrying it upstairs, and providing a high chair for breakfast. The coffee served in the was also amazing. NEspresso coffee machine in the bedroom too, which is a lovely bonus.

With it being a period building, the staircase is very steep. However, there is a stair lift if required and the hotel staff are more than willing to help you with cases to the bedrooms.

The staff were super friendly and nice. The room was very nicely designed. Came with a coffee machine and fridge. Bathroom was spacious and clean! Its located in a great location with tons of Cafes and restaurants all around it! The breakfast included was nice and could have as much as you like! The meshed windows were nice as they kept bugs out but got fresh air in. Everything was fresh and coffee was great! Thank you for a great stay!

Tv was dated and stoped working from time to time! The toilet in our room was super low to the ground! Not sure why. But these were minor things. still enjoyed our stay!

The location could not be better, close to all of the most historic areas in Amsterdam. Our 2nd story room (3rd story by US standards) overlooked a canal with occasional boat traffic which was fun. The staff at the hotel was the best feature, all were very helpful, and the ground floor cafe was very quaint. Special shout out to Victor and Sydney, who went above and beyond.

The stairs are steep and difficult, but that’s the price you pay for being in an historic building. The staff takes care of all suitcases, so you just have to climb yourself.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Although it was continental there was a good choice. We were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was very quiet and it was good to have a kettle and fridge. Shower was exceptionally good.

Bedside tables were annoying. So low so you couldn't use the lights for reading. They were made of ceramic(?) and they were noisy to use and not flat on top so things tended to roll/wobble a little.

The property is stunning! Each room individually decorated with great taste and flair! We had a room overlooking the canal at the very top of the property - just perfect! Although there isn’t a lift, our host very kindly took our bags up! The breakfast was gorgeous in the tearoom downstairs, which the hosts also own. It was delightfully presented with plenty of choice - a great start to the day! The location is perfect - not far from Anne Frank Museum and a stones throw away from great cafes and restaurants by the side of the canal. You can also book your canal boat trip too! The designer, boutique shopping area is very close by - a short 5 minute walk. We cannot recommend this beautiful boutique hotel enough. The hosts were so friendly, attentive and full of great advice on where to visit.

Traditional Dutch house in a superb location. Canalside and only a 5 minute walk from Anne Frank and Dam Square. Large comfortable room and nice bathroom. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, served in the cafe downstairs. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Not a criticism as it's part of the character of the building but the stairs are very steep. There is a stairlift from the ground to the 1st floor so if you struggle with stairs then email to ask for a 1st floor room. I did this as I was travelling with my mum who is 84. She managed the stairs ok but I was glad we weren't higher up in the building.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. The family room was maybe the most beautiful room I have ever seen. It had everything from mini fridge to kettle and coffee machine and the bathroom was spotless. They provided all the amenities like crib and high chair so that was an easy stay with our baby. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. We will definitely come again, thank you for everything!

The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t have a parking place but it is difficult considering the location, still they explained and offered good places for parking.

The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of the Jordaan neighborhood. This meant easy access via walking to lots of great restaurants and pubs. The room was perfectly clean and more spacious than expected & the street/canal our window opened to was quiet.

We have no complaints for this hotel at all. The only point I think is worth mentioning is that there is no elevator and you must walk up the traditionally steep, narrow stair to access the rooms. This is not at all unique to 't Hotel, but something I imagine you'd find in most historic hotels - but, if you have mobility issues or are uncomfortable with climbing up a 'ladder' to access you room, you may want to look at a more modern hotel chain option.

The staff was awesome, really nice people and very customer service oriented. The breakfast was perfect for us with a few options to select from and great service in a nice café environment. Although the old stairs to rooms were a part of the experience they could be treacherous for people with limitations, they do offer a lift chair should you need it. The location was central to our plans and the area is very walkable.

There were a couple occasions other guests were not as courteous to others when returning at night and could be heard from the room, but that is often the case with most shared properties.
