The location is fabulous, the room was cool and the bed was super comfy! Close to everything with great little shops and restaurants below. We took a Bolt from the train station to the room $13.20 (because we were not sure how far it was, next time we would walk) then a Bolt to the airport $28.20. Other than that we walked everywhere and felt very safe. Sebastian was great, and it was fun to stay like a local. Stairs to the room are steep, but short. The nespresso was lovely, bring creamer. The only other recommendation would be for an additional towel as there were 1 bath and 1 hand towel each. We did the canal cruise with Captain Jack, it was a great way to get the lay of the city on our first day. In closing, we loved our stay and would choose it again.

The stairs were a little difficult to navigate, but that cannot be helped.

The location was great and the room sufficient for our needs for 3 nights. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and warm enough. There was a sofa for comfort and adequate place to put things. The bathroom was modern and clean. It suited us.

The steep long stairs that greet you and the windows that are not sound proof are a function of the building and probably the same in many places in Amsterdam but should be considered by visitors. Voile curtains would have helped with privacy. There is no breakfast. A note that you could find a coffee shop on the corner, but no discount there. There were drink facilities provided but if staying more than one night these don't get topped up, so not enough. No milk either in the fridge or comment where the nearest place to get some is. There are take aways in the street however. There is a complex control for air con /heating /fan above the light switch when you enter, but there should be instructions on how to use them! Had no idea how to use them.

The location was wonderful. It happened to be Pride so the crowds were a little raucous but the host provided excellent earplugs! It was clean and quite charming.

The stairs were steep and we had a lot of luggage because my daughter is moving to Maastricht. We were warned from the reviews but decided it was still a good location. The coffee machine was ehhh. So we just hit up a cafe.

Lovely little room. We had the back room, so there was little to no street noise and minimal noise from the other rooms, but this was expected as the place is an old amsterdam house. Beautiful location, close to the centre of Amsterdam, and easy to get to everything. There was a nice little cafe down the road, I think it was called Baton, I would highly recommend going there. We had our breakfast every morning there, and the Dutch pancakes were delicious!

The room was really central and easy to reach from central station which is great. Easy to access any sightseeing around the city. Plenty of cafe and restaurant nearby. Room super clean and bed very comfortable. My next visit I’ll try to book the same room again.

Steep stairs could be an issue if you have luggages, but it’s normal in Amsterdam.

There was a minor issue with access on arrival which was dealt with very promptly and well by the owner. The location was great, lovely street with cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep. Clean and comfortable room, exactly as hoped for

Not much control on the heat of the shower, the thermostat is a bit faulty, but definitely not a major problem, just limited control for temperature

good location, good communication with Sebastian, only slightly disappointing point was we didn’t get asked if we wanted clean towels until our 3 rd night and we stayed for 4 nights. any issue we had Sebastian sorted straight away as we had an issue with the shower but we understand this issue is out of his control. otherwise had a nice stay.

the stairs are really steep and being pregnant struggled with them, think this should definitely be disclosed upon booking. didn’t get asked if we wanted clean towels until our third night and we stopped for four

We booked room 2 - this backed on to the garden so very quiet in the evening. The bed was v soft! great shower and coffee facilities in the room super helpful

There is one flight of stairs to get up to the apartments - fine for us but they are super steep so be aware. Only other minor issue is that the shower made the wet room floor v wet so extra towels needed

From booking this accommodation I then read the reviews, the wrong way round I know however I can say any questions I asked I received an answer to in good time and with all the information needed The place was easy to find and get into without a problem 👌 Once inside we found it to be very pleasant indeed with all the facilities you would need plus a very comfortable bed The only thing I would have liked was a place to leave bags upon check out but this is not a negative of the property as I was offered a solution in the form of l a luggage drop at the train station

There is a steep staircase leading up to the rooms which I think would be worth noting for people who may have mobility issues All things considered its a great place very conveniently placed and ideal for a couple of days in a nice city

The place is clean, quiet (you can even hear the birds when opening up the window) and with a lovely neighborhood if you go on the opposite side from the center. The bed is also super confortable and there is a small fridge provided which is great :)

The pillow were a bit too big for me but that really a detail :)
