Very quiet hotel, perfectly situated at picturesque old Western Gate of City of Enkhuizen. Rooms recently refurbished, clean, comfy, bathroom with whirlpool and shower, parking lot just across building. Breakfast delicious. Hotel sports world class gym, bar, lounge area inside and on roof top. Very appealing! Hotel is within walking distance of brewery, harbour, many bars and high streets, plus many historic buildings. Enkhuizen´s Zuiderzee Museum is a must-see!

Shower didn´t have a curtain, but staff promised to add one after we mentioned this. Apart from this detail nothing to add or wish for. Very nice place!

The personal care and service of each staff member was outstanding, super warm, friendly and personal. We liked the cleanliness, the decoration on the walls, the materials used everywhere in the hotel. The quality of the bed is excellent. The breakfast was value for money and the staff constantly and immediately replenished any missing items.

The only 1 thing we didn't like was the size of the room. The pictures on the website give an impression of a much larger room in which you can walk around, it is the opposite. I had to be quite creative where to put the suitcase otherwise I couldn't open the bathroom door. This is not a problem, but then mention this on the website or put different pictures so that expectations are properly managed.

The welcome was excellent. The receptionist was pleasant, efficient, attentive and most helpful. The place was smartly decorated, quiet, well maintained, relaxed and very clean. Our room was spacious. The air conditioning (despite 28C outside) was first rate. The facilities for easily and securely storing our bikes were super.

Breakfast was sufficient. Some bacon would be an addition. Coffee Cups too small, larger required. Staff were very friend and helpful at all time. This was our second time to stay at de Kooport.

The hotel is in an old, renovated building, so was splendidly quirky, so don't stay here if you want a standard beige hotel. The room was good and everything worked. The building is on the main street but well insulated from noise. The location was great and easy to find and there was car parking and a secure bike store across the street. The breakfast was also good.

Lovely staff, very big room, good breakfast and nice workout room, corner bath was lovely. The location is ideal to walk into the center leisurely.

The hotel rooms are dated and lack a modern touch. Bathroom lighting felt very bright which spoiled the otherwise relaxing jacuzzi bath. Funny smell in the bathroom.

Room was very spacious. Nice bathroom with bubblebath. Brekfastroom is very comfortable. Breakfast food very good and more than enough service.

During night you needed to close the windows due to noise in the street (we had room at the main street). We had four pillows but none of them was nice, they were all too big.

Fine hotel in down town Enkhuizen right next to the Koepoort. Private parking opposite the hotel. Services are good, most likely the best you can find in this relatively small town. Good (Dutch) breakfast.

The bathroom equipment is a little rudimentory, but clean.

A little noise at times, between the cars on the street and the bells of the church, but not too terrible. It would be good if you could update the picture of the room (executive room). I thought there was a bathtub because I saw it on the picture but it was not the case.
