Very friendly people at the reception, they did everything to make me feel welcome and how I could improve my stay (and advice on my journey as well). The hotel is a fine mix between cozy / stylish and the location is superb, my single room was very spacious and clean (the Pink room is what they called it I believe, because of a stylish dark pink wall I'd say :)). Step outside and you're in walking distance of many bars and beautiful parts of Enkhuizen. If there's a room in this hotel I'd like to visit again another time.

Personally the pillows were too large for me so I used a rolled up towel (on a longer stay I would've probably easily resolved this with the reception). I also think some extra identification could be wise when requesting your key again after going out. I was there only one night so no problem for me as everything else was great.

Enkhuizen is a fabulous small town right on the IJsselmeer and this is an excellent hotel right in the city center - close to and well within walking distance to all the beautiful sights. Above that the hotel is exceptionally clean and feels like it was renovated quite thoroughly recently. This leads to very modern rooms and a nice atmosphere - only surpassed by the friendly staff.

Throughout the hotel there were vases with perfume in them. While the odor was pleasing I did initially find it to be a bit strong and irritating. Happy to report that I stopped noticing it after five short minutes though.

The stay was lovely. Location is great, rooms were clean and nicely done.

Thankfully, there was a fan in the room but it was still hot. We also didn't have cleaning service during our 2 night stay, (apparently you have to request it but we didn't know until it was too late) but we quickly received new towels upon request.

Great location and their patio has a splendid view. We arrived late after work and were still served a splendid dinner. Breakfast was also very generous and tasty; we also enjoyed their patio for a read. Very helpful staff and a pleasant stay. If it's a hot time of the year, and you have the windows open, the glockenspiel will keep you awake as it plays every 15 minutes a different tune. Take ear plugs.

In an amazing location. Great attitude of the staff. Clear in all respects. Excellent breakfast - could have been cheaper.

Atypical sink - effective to look at, but impractical. The room did not have sufficient lighting. Music production under the windows late into the night.

The Hotel is lovely and the staff are super helpful and kind. Overall we had a nice stay and would consider staying there again.

The breakfast was at an added cost and a' la cart. We had to order breakfast and it took quite a while for the food to arrive. On one of the days we waited for over 30 minutes to get our breakfast, which then had a small impact on our plans for the morning, as we ended up setting off later in the morning than expected.

We loved this hotel. It was our second stay there. Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Great restaurant. Lovely breakfast. Pretty garden for a summer evening with very good singer on the Saturday night.

On our first visit we had a fridge in our room. This time we didn’t and would have appreciated it. No great inconvenience though and it didn’t spoil our stay!

the pillows were awful. way too big. I ended up using a rolled up sweater because of the pain in my neck. there were tea and coffee facilities but no tea cups. we had to drink our tea out of very small coffee cups. the noise from the hall was very loud. there were children running up and down the stairs next to us for a long time.

Location was very accessible to many areas of interest, thus, very convenient. Breakfast was very nice! Eventhough a fresh banana was not in the menu, they were providing my husband a fresh piece for each moring we were there. Thank you for granting the special request. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had a lovely stay which was essential to our short visit at Enkhuizen :)

Room was a bit small for a large sized bed. But, regardless, sleeping was very comfortable and the room was fresh and new. Area for shower didn't have a door, so the bathroom floor on the lavatory area could get wet. But, of course can be easily solved if there is an extra floor rag. Thus, not really much an issue.

Nothing not to like. I did not know and were not informed that the room would not be serviced. No problem. Would have loved coffee capsule refill though.
