- Quite an expensive stay - The location is hard to get to if you don’t have a car There’s a train but then there’s no bus and almost no Ubers nearby who can bring you there. I had to walk 30mins. But lucky for me it was a beautiful day.

It’s is a pretty environment

I think the price is high for what is basically an average to nice hotel room. The restaurant service wasn’t great, a bit slow. The value of the prefix menu is horrible. The food is microscopic. I literally thought they were giving me appetizers and at the end I found out it was the whole meal. All things like one or two bites. Would never do that again. If you eat dinner order ala carte and the breakfast was laughable.

Everything was good, the room was great, facilities were great, reception was very friendly and helpful, the grounds were well tended. They even managed to organise nice weather )) Breakfast was cold buffet, but hot meals could be ordered from the menu and they were very good. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

One small incident at the restaurant - waiting to be seated, there was no sign but I assumed I had to wait. Plenty of staff around (they seemed busy) but they said nothing to me. I wasn't sure if should just find a table so I asked, and I was told "just wait, I'm busy with something else right now". Not a big deal, but felt a little rude.

Brilliant castle hotel, spacious rooms. Very clean. Lovely atmosphere.

The pool was located at sister hotel up the road. The more expansive food options (for kids in particular) also at the other hotel though you need to book. Very little interaction with staff so may have missed options to enjoy hotel more fully. Bike hire also at sister hotel. May be not as good value for these reasons.

The location and hotel are just superb - this has been my 3rd time and it never dissapoints. The breakfast is consistently good with a lot of choice. The restaurant (did not eat here this time but my colleague did) is very good and highly recommended. The room was very spacious and it even had it's own castle tower.

Under and behind the bed it was a bit dusty. A gym in the building next to it would be a great addition.

The restaurant food is amazing; nice setting in the park; calm and restful.

We stayed in the outer rooms (outside the main building); while spacious, comfortable and renovated, we felt we missed the "castle feeling". Breakfast is quite expensive (25 euros/ person) on top of a rather expensive room. Our dishes were not collected from the room for two days, despite multiple hotel personnel passing by.

The hotel itself was wonderful and very classy, elegant in every detail. Big, quiet room and huge bathroom, comfy bed and even Deutz champagne at the breakfast! And the egg Benedictine at the breakfast was maybe the best I've ever had, it was simply perfect. The restaurant was also a nice try, much effort, but the food was unfortunately not as expected. The food was more or less strange to be honest. But wines were exellent and the champagne of course.

The atmosphere, the room, the sincere intended service, the total environment, the restaurant it was all a touch better then my expectations which were already high for this location. I was really impressed if not blown away with this gem with its level of service I would not expect (at all) in The Netherlands.

Nothing, liked it all.

A perfect weekend, just amazing the suite rooms in the castle with view on the parc. The nice terrasse by the water , excellent wine list, nice menu, real close to restaurant de Leuf, nice walking around in the surrounding nature area

We stayed for two nights in this little gem of a hotel. Our room was extremely comfortable and stylish. We loved the luxurious big bathroom. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The location is as stunning as it gets. If you want to enjoy the experience of a castle stay, this is the perfect opportunity!

We only had breakfast once, but is a bit expensive in my view for a very standard breakfast.
