Stayed in the room 505 during weekdays. Convenient location, nice breakfast. Staff is pretty awesome and allow you to check-in late (key box outside the building). You can check-in online beforehand as well. Spacious bathroom!

Windows open to an inside space, so you can't really vent your room. Room is very dark, if you drop your phone, good luck finding the light switch in the night. Noise isolation is not perfect, but they give ear plugs. During the week days, I didn't had to use them.

I liked how kind and accommodating Cindy. The housekeeping is so polite and kind too. except it is being renovated right now and have to use the stairs going up,overall I am loving my stay here. The price is great because even my partner loved how clean and good the room is, also because it is pretty close to everything. Big and clean room, toilet, very comfortable. It has kettle, hair dryer, shower and the bed is amazing. I highly recommend Stadshotel. I will be coming back for sure. Thanks Cindy.

Using the stairs because the hotel is currently being renovated, but its not a big deal to be honest.

A very well appointed hotel in a central location in the lovely town of Heerlen, where the whole town centre is pedestrianised. The staff were friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the continental breakfast in the impressive restaurant.

I stayed on a Friday night and had a litle trouble getting to sleep as the sound from a nearby disco was audible until the small hours. It was only in the morning that I noticed that a small packet on the desk contained earplugs!

Very nicely renovated room. Nicely made beds. Everything cleaned. Clean tidy bathroom. Very extensive and delicious breakfast.

The friendliness of the receptionist could be a little friendlier. For example, asking if everything was to your liking and whether we had a nice stay. (This was all fine by the way) But there could be more interaction with the guests.

The excellent and warm service of the staff. Cindy really made us feel at home and spoiled. The location on a cute square in the heart of the city was also nice and provided many restaurant options for drinks and dinner.

We were there on a Friday night in summer which meant the cute square is also a busy one till deep in the night. The hotel offers earplugs for the light sleepers, so that is thoughtful.

Location is excellent, room is spacious, and breakfast was varied and tasted great (but a bit expensive).

There was a hot water kettle in the room with a couple of tea bags. While preparing tea, I noticed it was not clean with mold and gunk inside it. The next morning, I informed the receptionist and she promised it will be replaced, but that did not happen.

Very clean and comfortable room. We went to a wedding and it was nice to have all the space to get ready. The location is unbeatable and the views are very nice! Even though the center is a no car zone, there is a parking garage close by.

Carpet on the floor always feels a bit gross. When we came back in the evening there was a horrible smell of cigarettes in the room. It didn't bother me, but the church bells go off every hour. And there's quite a bit of noise from the town square in the evening.

We stayed at Stadshotel Heerlen on our way to the German Christmas markets, it was a great room and at an amazing price! A special highlight was the staff, all of whom were extremely kind and welcoming and gave us lots of nice tips for food and local recommendations. And the breakfast buffet was a great value as well!

I was totally satisfied by my stay at Stadshotel Botterwerk. I arrived there after the possible time for check-in, but they were quietly cool about it and they arranged everything for me to take the key. I also had a problem with Booking.com regarding my reservation. The reception called booking personally and she followed this issue very closely. The room was quite comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's located in the heart of the city. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Everything..even though I had a single room, it was spacious, comfy bed,very clean,didn't intend to have breakfast, but at the last minute i changed my mind and it was great Staff all very helpful

The only thing that was slightly annoying was the lift hours
