The room although spartan was clean and comfortable and good value for the money that I paid. The shower and toilet was also clean and well kept. The bar I found to be peaceful and friendly, a good place to meet the locals.

The bar had only one kind of beer on tap and a limited range of bottled beers available. I'm hoping that the management will work on this and make at least a few more varieties of beer available.

Located very centrally in historical town; quiet although central; 10 minutes walk to station and most touristic places ( dutch porcelain (china) museum....) . Spacious familial room. Very helpful staff. Excellent value for the price

Room , especially bathroom, could be modernized. Flooring is a bit dated; nevetherless although old, it remains clean. Staircase (no lift) A kettle or a fridge would be an extra plus .But excellent value considering the price

Very good stay at the hotel t'Anker. Location of the hotel was easy walk from the train station in the center of town and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Room was comfy, bed was good; shower and washroom were clean and spacious; and the WIFI was good. The buffet breakfast had good variety and served good coffee! The staff were onsite and responded to questions immediately and were very helpful.

Only problem was the room was on a busy street, and given the warm nights the window needed to be open and there was some noise later in the evening. Not a big problem and only really noticeable on the weekend.

Highlight for this hostel was definitely the location and the price, one of the cheapest I could find. It is ideal for 1-2 nights. I had a single room, which was comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly.

The room smell a bit, not sure if it was humid or someone smoke in it, either way it needed a bit of airing. The pillow could be a bit better also.

The staff is very professional and helpful. If you are staying in the dormitory, the services are of standard quality and a very good deal for the money you pay. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The dormitory is a bit crowded with beds but otherwise offers everything you need. Bring your own towel and shower gel.

Cosy place with a nice pub downstairs, centrally located. My room had everything I needed, I had booked a double-room for one so it was lots of space, but for 2 persons it would also be just fine. Bed was comfortable, during night it was silent. Shower and toilet were next door and shared with others, but usually available. Breakfast was very good (coffee, juice, boiled eggs, great home-made local cake "Fries Suikerbrood", fresh fruits). The staff was very friendly. The pub looked nice and they had some good beer options. Awesome!

The stairs are quite steep so if you have disabilities, rather ask for a room on the ground floor. The breakfast could need some more vegetables (they were often empty) and some hearty vegetarian spread(s) would be super nice. My squeaky room door and its doorknob could be fixed. But those were all minor issues, the overall experience was very good. I would totally go there again.

Very friendly and professional staff and a dormitory that offers everything you need for a quick stay. The location is perfect - in the city centre, just a few minutes away from all sites and not on one of the main streets so it's not noisy at all.

everything was ok but from my point of view they should add a small fridge and a kettle or a coffee machine to the room otherwise everything is ok including the staff

Even though I booked a room in the dormitory, I got transfered to a single room as the dorm was occupied by a bigger group than anticipated. A really nice gesture with no additional payment needed.
