Everything was perfect. Even if I was only there for 1 night, it was very pleasant from the check in to the check out. The greeting was extremely friendly, a lot of useful information and immediate help when needed, the hotel is very modern and chic, the breakfast was delicious and it was the first time I actually enjoyed sleeping somewhere else, it was really the most comfortable bed I ever had in an accommodation. I would definetly recommend it and come back. :)

No complaints.

The hotel is situated in a quiet side street just outside the main center, but within easy walking distance to a large number of restaurants and the main points of interest. The property has been renovated to a very high standard, and with only 5 rooms, has a very cosy B&B type of feel. The bed was a super king and very comfortable. It was one of the few properties we stayed at on our trip around NL which had air conditioning, which was very welcome as the days were very warm.

There really weren't any. I like to have a fridge in my room so I can have a selection of cold drinks that I like, but the owner kindly let me store a couple of things in the fridge in the breakfast room. This may not be an option in periods of full occupancy.

Great service, comfy beds, nice location. Communication before checkin very clear,

It was fine for me but good to know for couples that bathroom has a less degree of separation from bedroom than typical hotel room, and you also hear a bit more noise from other guest when they arrive leave but this this only happens a few times a day.. All of these things did not bother me whatsoever... but might be good to know

Very personable hosts! Really enjoyed the breakfast service, and the location was perfect for a quick, quiet stay. We were only in town overnight to visit the lovely restaurant De Nieuwe Winkel, so it gave us the opportunity to experience a walk through the beautiful center. The bed was also super comfortable.

I prefer a more private toilet. It’s still a lovely concept, and I understand this helps maximize the space.

Nijmegen was wonderful in itself, but I'd go back just to stay in the Hotel Straelman. This place was easily the highlight of the trip. Breakfast in the garden was superb. An ideal boutique hotel that has made me decide to look at staying in more boutique hotels over disappointing airbnbs on this trip. I can't give enough praise to the staff, to the best breakfast I've had on a stay EVER, and to this charming place. The bed and room was comfortable. You can sit in the garden if you want to get outside of your room (and it is a beautiful spot!) Convenient location for walking to the city center, including many great restaurants. It's a compact but with plenty of shopping and walking enjoyment.

Everything was perfect; guests should know there are some stairs that are tight, but we found that is normal in any stay in the Netherlands.

The room and common areas were impeccably clean. The staff were very friendly, and very attentive to your needs at breakfast. Rooms are stylish, comfortable and nicely equipped. The hotel is virtually next door to Nijmegen city centre, but the street is very quiet.

There are two free options for WiFi: one (the 'guest' option) turned out to be not so stable, so after a little while I switched to the other option.

The location of this hotel is very close to the centre which was great (about a 5-7 min walk). The host & Manager of the hotel (Tanja) was exceptional, incredibly friendly and helpful. The room (truffel) was really nice as well and it was pleasant having a balcony for this room. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for having us.

For us personally, the bathroom wasn't ideal. The shower is nice, it's good quality and well designed, but the feature of having a sliding door and no real way of closing off the space wasn't ideal. This doesn't take away anything from the quality aspect, just personally think a door separation would be nicer (and more private/quiet) than a sliding door.

The room setup, it location. Room name Kaviaar. Due to delayed flight I came late at hotel. The Owner , Tanja made sure I could check in late evening. Gave me pin code and information how to get myself in.

Breakfast. Not much variation. What I experienced dry cheese and I saw cervelat, ham was also dry.

Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, good shower. The utterly Charming and lovely Tanja and Brenda take great care of guests. Excellent selection at breakfast, and eggs done however you want.

Nothing at all, just excellent, and will stay there again if I'm in town

Highly recommended. Spacious and at the same time cosy room and the whole hotel. Very clean and also very quiet. The host was very friendly, communicative and helpful. You could really feel at home there. The breakfast - superb. You choose your preferred breakfast dish and you get it fresh and tasty. This place has immediately become one of my top favourites.
