A coffee express, and kettle in the room; spacious room, with a very big window, nice bathroom; very close to a grocery market, bars, cafes, some picturesque buildings in the old town, and a very close to a walking path along a river bank; walking distance from the central train station (about 15 min).

Street noise at night (I had a room just above the bar, facing a walking-streets junction). Till very late at night, people were making noise in the streets and at nearby bars. Early morning (about 7 am), various vans and garbage trucks were passing by my window with a loud noise. In the room, there is only a light-proof curtain but no mesh curtain, so there is no much privacy inside when the light inside the room is on.

The hotel has a superb location. The staff was fabulous, we booked a room the was bigger then the average room and we were thinking the bed would have space on both sides (as I was visiting with a friend, I didn't want to climb over her). The room we got had the bed pushed against the wall (room 2) and coulnd't be moved. The staff realised the predicament and gave us another room. This was at the front with lovely views. We also were surpried with a complimentary drink!

The lovely views turned into a lot of noise from downstairs (even though the resaurant was closed). It would have been nice to have some extra toiletries provided (very minimum) and things like a hairdryer, and an bin would't hurt, (felt bad leaving trash on the table.)

Good location, lots of restaurants within short walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful (I especially appreciated that they warned us about the moment of silence and the bell-ringing that would take place on night of check-in as Netherland was nationwide celebrating the anniversary of the end of the Nazi occupation of the country during WWII; I'd known our visit coincided, but hadn't been aware of the moment of silence in which *everything* would stop). I appreciated that room was at top of building and did not overlook square, so was pretty quiet. I liked the balcony area the room opened out into.

Wish they'd had breakfast; they have a restaurant downstairs, so a bit surprising they don't. Bathroom had a noticeable smell, although opening window certainly helped. Stairs up to the room were so steep I think a lot of people would probably be more comfortable with climbing them like a ladder, which I didn't mind myself, but if you have mobility issues at all, this would be a terrible choice.

location was perfect right on the main road, the room was fantastic, really spacious with very nice decor and a great view on the main road. Also the hotel is a very nice restaurant which is convenient to have a bite.

Nothing really. Just keep in mind there are very steep stairs (as per standard flats in the Netherlands)

really friendly and helpful staff, very quick to resolve any queries . great location and room 5 has lovely views of the square and cathedral tower. be aware the stairs are very steep so may not be suitable for some but it’s an old building with character. espresso coffee machine available which was good as hotel doesn’t provide breakfast

room 5 could do with somewhere to hang your clothes, there’s nothing available, have to leave in your suitcase

Staff were so welcoming, couldn't check in till 3 but we're able to store luggage. Staff even gave us a welcome drink which was a bonus and brilliant customer service. Lovely balcony to our room and comfy bed. Centre of town 😃

Nice room, comfortable bed. The balcony looked really cozy, sadly it was too cold, so we didn't get to use it.

The stairs were extremely steep, so in case of mobility problems it would be hard to get to the room upstairs.

The room I stayed in had character and was nicely decorated. It also had a terrasse attached to it, which was a huge plus. Big bathroom. The hotel is very nicely located. Will stay there again.

A note on the stairs - they are very steep. But this is typical for the houses like the one the hotel is in.

Location was great, nice to have Cafe in building. View of steeple clock in night was breathtaking.

Kitchen was lacking a few essentials and room service was confusing. Stairs were quite steep and narrow...especially 3 flights.
