Beds in room very narrow. Room not serviced (replacement of coffee and milk etc) for 4 days despite repeated requests and reminders. Room and bathroom themselves immaculately clean but curtains on window were crawling with fleas - badly needed fumigation with insecticide and/or boiling

Really, and I mean really, nice staff. Location is great, especially with a room on the river side. Beds are very comfortable, and love the waterpressure in the shower

Overall impresison; decor is a bit outdated, looks like 1970's chiq Doors are not really blocking any sounds from the hallway

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was very simple but fresh and biological/local products. Rooms and the hotel was clean. We had a nice welcome, and had a room with a great view! We would choose again for our stay here! Very good location, within the city but still quiet

Breakfast was "too" simple. In the shower the ceiling has to be cleaned properly from the mildew. However it was not a high summer day, still the room was warm and there is no airconditioning or fan in the room. There was a TV but without remote. But those are issues that can be solved easy and quick. :)

This is an excellent hotel in the traditional Dutch way located along the River Waal.- quality and value. There is a bicycle museum in the next building with some extremely old bikes. Holland Casino is just a 200m walk along the river. Above the hotel on the hill is Valkhofpark. The chapel from the old castle remains as well as some ruins from another chapel. There is a World War 2 bunker on the hill in the park overlooking the river. The chapel and the bunker were open on the Saturday that I was there. Adjacent to the park was a great open air market also on Saturday. Not enough, directly behind the hotel is a museum of nature and cultural history. Shopping and dining along several streets is 5 minutes from the hotel. The train station is a 20 minute walk. Comfortable, friendly and filling Dutch continental breakfast with tasty coffee.

Fantastic location, next the river and bordering the park. Great value for money! Breakfast is phenomenal, and included in the price. Freshly made croissants, mostly organic eggs, yoghurt and fruit, local food.

It's and older building, so there is some noise. In the fifth floor, it was fine, but people on the first could hear more noises. Also, the pillows are square, large and not very comfortable, but that is a detail and deeply personal. Great value for money!

The tops o' the tops was the river view from the room window. Better than any television. Nothing really happing, just boats on the river, traffic (pedestrians, bicyclists, and motor vehicles crossing the bridge), clouds, sky, stuff.. yeah, brilliant. With this view, you won't be in the heart of the city, though it's not that far of a walk to it. The breakfast is tops here - high quality, organic... bio... something or another. It's labeled... and I could taste it. The best apple juice I've ever had. They've a multi-choice coffee machine. A good selection of yogurts, granolas, breads, deli meats, cheeses, breads toppings... good, good, super-good! If you ask nicely, you might get a pass to the next-door bicycle museum - it's quite amazing!

Wi-Fi is is intermittent in the room - sometimes ya got it, sometimes you don't.

Wonderful friendly courteous staff in a beautiful clean Nijmegen hotel full of old features and modern convenience. You have to try the spiral stairs at least once! I stayed in room 64, Single Room with river view. I though the Bridge may be "visible" from the window, but no it was 'right there'! At night with open curtains the illumination from the Bridge gave the room suble light.

Nothing it was perfect.

A superb location just by the river. The bus stop is just 2 min on foot and the Central Station is just two stops a way. You can reach the shopping district in just 15 min on foot. There are two interesting museums around The room is not too big but enough, it was clean . The breakfast is deliciously more than enough and the f&b staff was very helpfull. The check-in and check-out were the quickest that I experienced . Value for money, highly recomend to families, couples of all age, solo travellers . Thank you Hotel Courage Waalkade

The hotel is located well outside of the busiest streets of Nijmegen but is still located fairly centrally. Access by train and bus is very good. While not equipped with a whole assortment of tea, coffee and a fridge, the rooms are tidy and have nostalgic old lamps. Breakfast is served delicious and healthy. I highly recommend eating it. We also really appreciated the ability to check in at a fairly late hour. That being said, do keep the instructions they send handy - getting your keys is a small puzzle. :)

Not all rooms have quite the same view. Some look out over the riverside, but others look up against a hill which, while nice, is probably not what you came for. :) Mind the relatively narrow spiral staircase if you're an avid stair climber, but know that the elevator's fine.

View over the Waal river. Great beds, free WiFi. Great breakfast buffet from 8am. Nice staff.

Check-in was with a code, since I arrived in the evening, at 7pm. I love a personal reception check-in, however a lock box code was emailed to us before arrival so all went fine. We found the key in the lock box, and no issues at all. Just a note that there is no staff after 6pm.
