Room was comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel right in the center of the city which made it very easy to get around.

A little bit more eye for cleaning in corners. My w.c area showed long black hairs and pubic hair around the toilet. Also, perhaps a box of kleenex, in winter time, might be an additional touch that could put somebody faster out of its misery. Instead of using up toilet paper to blow one's nose. Price for breakfast a bit steep to my liking, so I went next door where I had breakfast for half the price.

Very nice and functional boutique hotel In amazingly beautiful and well maintained and strong historical building. This hotel in very core of historic center of the Hague excellently serves it's purpose of accommodating various sorts of guests. Room wasn't luxurious or anything close nor we expected such but it was clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very polite and professional, willing to do their best to make customer satisfied with the service. Neighborhood, even though surrounded with caffe shops and restaurants is very quiet, especially during the niight when streets, to our surprise, were almost empty. Definitely, good value for money. Excellent choice and we will come back.

Everything was perfect. 🙂

The Ibis *Styles* hotel is good value for money. The highlight for "Styles" is deliberately: there is another Ibis hotel just around the corner, don't get confused when you are looking for the one you booked (-: My room was small, with almost not enough space to move around in. Since I only stayed for one night, it was OK. The staff is very friendly. Coffee and tea are available 24/7. The bed was comfortable enough, the shower good. It was quiet at night, so a god night's rest is assured. The breakfast is good, although somewhat pricey.

Stylistically interesting heritage building adapted to hotel use. Our room, somewhat Spartan but comfortable, looked out over a courtyard-like environment (quiet while in the heart of the city) and had lovely large windows and high ceilings. The location in the heart of town puts you within very easy walking distance of major points of interest (i.e. historic Government Centre, museums), shopping and dining. Soap/shampoo dispensers rather than the tiny bottles/tubes - less waste and packaging.

For a modern/contemporary hotel, not having USB charging points in the room is not great; many travelers come from outside continental Europe and rely on USB ports (rather than clunky adapter plugs) to charge phones &c. Sills between heritage floors in the room entrance and updated surfaces are a bit of a tripping hazard; not very suitable for people with vision or mobility issues. Nespresso machines with plastic capsules not very environmentally friendly.

Very nice hotel in the city centre, in a quiet area. My room looked freshly renovated and was large enough, cosy and spotless. Plastic free. Heating can be switched on and off. Perhaps not enough privacy for sharing a room (shower cabinet is within the room), but perfect for a single traveller. Good selection of options for breakfast.

I asked for a printed invoice at check-in, and was told it would be available (by e-mail and also printed out) at check-out; that turned out to be impossible for some reason. The invoice was indeed sent by email, but as a result of the management system it shows a final balance of 0 (meaning of course I paid for the room - but making very hard reimbursement procedures). It was apparently not possible to get another statement. A previously friendly staff became stiff and unhelpful. I recommend another option to anyone travelling for work and needing a more traditional invoice, one of the kind offices still unfortunately ask us for. Wifi was slow; I used my own data roaming.

The size of the room was satisfactory and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good variety of items for breakfast. The location was excellent. It was also great to make use of the coffee machine at all times although I would have preferred to have the service of a kettle in the room. The infused water at reception was an added perk. The staff at reception was welcoming and helpful.

Lack of storage in the bedroom for clothes is my main complaint. Limited TV channels.

Fantastic historical building by Berlage, not your typical Ibis, which i mean is positive! Super central location. Late checkout at noon, should be like that everywhere!

Although the staff was really friendly, there was one rather nervous supervisor type of guy, that wasn't very nice to the other employees. Not sure what exactly it was about because they were whispering, just some bad vibes, while we were having an otherwise nice breakfast. In these times of employee shortage, it would be in the management's interest to treat their staff more respectfully.

I actually don't really want to review this hotel, as if people knew how good it was, I would never be able to book a room anymore. I don't think there is a more lovelier hotel in the world than this one. Also, in the centre of the city and the tram in front of it. A city and tram loving traveller can't wish for more.

The curtains fall over the heating, so the warmth stays behind it. Seems not really thought through. Easy fix by just shortening the curtains. Because of the high ceiling, we felt a lot of heat got wasted and we never really benefitted from all the produced heat.

the hotel is amazing, just across the church and still no noise can disturb you, very comfortable bed, short walk from main attractions with many options for transportation to different points of interest!

I lost my debit card and when i asked the guy at the reception to call the police and check if someone has brought it there, he refused saying that i should go by myself. I understand but in the state that i was, it wouldnt hurt him to do this call. I find it rude, hope he will not be in the same situation one day. Luckly no one had done an attempt to use it, so all in all managed to block it and released a new one few days later back at home.

The location of the hotel is great, super central and the building itself is a monumnent, it is beautiful. Free coffee and tea are available all day and the rooms were spacious with high ceilings. Everything was very clean, with a large rain shower and a separate toilet.

The room was very hot. The air conditioning was not strong enough to cool the room and it was only 23 degrees outside. The pillows were extremely small and hard, and gave us both a bad neck /shoulder ache. We had a beautiful room at the front of the hotel with a great view, but the trams were very noisy. The hotel does give you free earplugs (great!) but if you are a light sleeper that is not enough.
