Loved the art deco decor. Great price considering location. Nice having a fridge, tea and coffee in room. Provided iron, hairdryer, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash, safety deposit and air con. Lovely garden to sit in. Room very clean. Great central location. Plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Sited in older part of Den Haag. Couple of minutes walk to team/bus stop.
Only very narrow space next to bed to walk down. (We booked one of the cheaper double bedrooms, so new this). Coffee machine a bit daunting with no instructions how to use it. Small cups with no handles.

Room was fine & cleaned well. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Location was ok. A nice touch is the free fruity drink available all day in the entrance lobby. They have a lovely garden with garden furniture available for relaxing.
The internet - was poor. Dropped frequently & consequently had to sign in frequently - which was extremely boring. I did mention this to Front Desk, who were aware of the problem and allegedly has been 'fixed' on several occasions. They are a justifiably busy hotel but they MUST do something about the wifi.

We got a ground-floor room in this hotel. It was at the end of a hallway and when we entered we had a surprise: no windows! And then we realised: hold on, there's a roof window! This was our first experience with such a room, and we liked it. It had enough privacy: only a couple of other (higher-floor) rooms would actually manage to peer into ours, and there was an electronic shade we could close for privacy. We did not spend too much time at the hotel, nor did we have breakfast there, but the living rooms were cosy and many guests used them. There was also a pool table and a small outdoor garden! But the location is this hotel's biggest strength. It was quick to walk from the central train station there and to walk to all tourist attractions from there as well.
Wifi could have been better. Every 15 minutes or so it asked for a new login on all our devices. And the speed was terrible. But having said that, on checkout, we were told this was a known issue and steps were being taken to remedy the situation.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by its beautiful design. The hotel's aesthetic is truly eye-catching and adds to the overall experience. Its prime location, close to tourist spots and easily accessible by public transportation, was a major plus point. Being surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. They provided quick responses to all our queries, were extremely helpful, and always greeted us with cheerful smiles. I would still recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, beautiful design, and exceptional staff. With a few improvements, it has the potential to be a top-notch destination for travelers.
There were a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the absence of sport facilities was disappointing for someone who likes to maintain an active lifestyle while traveling. Additionally, the room had a slight unpleasant odor, possibly due to it being a rusted-old room that hadn't been used in a while. A room fragrance would have made a significant difference in improving the overall ambiance. Secondly, the variety of breakfast menus will also be a good thing to improve. I stayed for 8 nights and having the same menu (even the display of the menu were still the same) quickly bored me.

Extremely happy with our gorgeous room right in the middle of the city. It was awesome to have a little balcony overlooking the rooftops. Very clean, very nice staff. Overall great and would stay here again.
Not really the hotel's fault, but if I were them I would try to come to a solution with the shopkeeper across the street regarding the noise levels of their refrigerator or airconditioner or whatever it is they have above the door. The noise is just bafflingly loud, can be heard from the hotel terrace, from our balcony and I couldn't sleep with the window open because it was just so incredibly persistent. I also really liked the lounge but don't quite understand playing terrible cheap dance music there. Thankfully they turned it down when we asked but I would suggest playing something classy to go with the overall vibe of your hotel.

The atmosphere and building, the beds, the breakfast, the staff and location. No disturbance or noise from the road outside. The hotel is still in almost new condition. Some of the rooms have bathrooms with bathtubs, which are very high quality.
The walk in shower in the bathroom was too open and water splashed far, so we used the bathmat to stop the water as best possible. The room we had had no tilting window and only a bar across which was rather dangerous as high up. The noise of a person throwing up heavily in a neighbouring room could be heard at around 0500 on Easter Monday morning, which lasted for 15 minutes. The noise probably carried over the bathroom vent system.

Great facilities! I particulartly liked (in addition to the usual for hotels): - water cooker and coffee/tea in the room - a/c in the room kept the temperature and was not loud - ironing board and iron - great lobby with water, coffee and fruit permantly available, and a pool table. We sat there together for a long time. - super helpful and friendly staff
Nothing I didn't like! I would have loved two rooms with a connecting door, but that was not possible - I think hotels should have LOTS of connecting rooms for families or groups who are tracelling together.

Really good prices for a 4 star in the full blown city center
The hotel made up that a room we reserved wasn't available anymore, and that we could have upgraded to another room for 50 EUR more to have our stay. Outrageous behaviour. If the hotel has issues with a reservation, that's the hotel responsibility to solve them in the interests of the client. The client should not be responsible to fix hotel's issues. After due complaints, we got our room for no extra charges.

Have stayed at this hotel several times, sometimes you can a good deal, and the location is very good. I like the design of the renovated rooms a lot. Last time our room had a bit of an awkward corner, and like some rooms, it was quite small. I love that windows can open, and some rooms have a small balcony. Ask for one looking out onto the palace gardens, 2nd or 3rd floor.
Slightly bigger rooms are obviously a bit more expensive. Breakfast is not included in the price, and is not really worth €20, you can just get a croissant or something in one of the nice places around in the neighbourhood, or hop over to the supermarket about 300 m away.

The property lies in the heart of Den Haag and adjacent to various landmarks, including Mauritshuis and Centruum. I love the antique yet stylish decor, and functional facilities (worth to mention its magnificent marbled bathroom and Zenology amenities). The staffs were friendly and accommodative, I am so grateful for their flexibility including allowing me checking in early after long intercontinental flights.
I was staying in their single suite and I could use more space to lay my luggages. It would be perfect if you travel lightly or with a small luggage only.
