Beautifully situated on an estate amidst more unique nature (De Veluwe). Well maintained and fairly large rooms with balcony. Thankfully no bath but a good walk-in shower. Staff is lovely and the terrace on the field is nice and cool on hot summer days. Prices are fair for a hotel restaurant. The room and balcony were nice, just a bit of a letdown that smoking is allowed on the latter. It sent smoke into my room from my neighbor’s balcony. The area is perfect for hiking- or bike activities. I took my own bike with me, the hotel has ample and safe parking space. The hotel is close to bus stops and easily accessible by car, train or bike.

The restaurant menu needs to come out of the 1980’s!!! Totally outdated choices and all dishes seem to aim at a maximum calorie intake as ‘value for money’. Room cleaning is erratic and some staff are clueless as to basic hygiene rules. I stayed for 6 nights but not once was my carpet vacuum cleaned or my toilet brush holder emptied out. I also ended up with a towel surplus of 8 within 3 days. They just kept coming!

the room although very spacious and other I’ve mentioned above, it was very tired and needed updating. also, when we ordered coffee, although it was delicious it was served in tall glass cups and half of it was froth. I did complain that there wasn’t enough coffee in that glass so the member of staff gave us both an espresso to add to our cup.

This hotel is exceptionally beautiful and well located. The views are breathtaking, and the gardens a delight to walk around. The building is super pretty. The staff was friendly. The pool beautiful and quiet in the evening (it is appreciated it stays open until quite late). We also got the buffet breakfast, which was delicious, including freshly baked croissants and pancakes.

Because of the weather circumstances we arrived at the hotel with 2h of spare time (we were planning to go for a walk in the area, but it was haling). We asked if it was possible to check in a bit earlier, but they said it was impossible. I do understand that this is not doable at occasions, specially when they are full and need to clean rooms in between guests, but the hotel was almost empty. I would have appreciated a bit of flexibility there.

we booked it through booking for 210€ and when we arrived at the reception they asked for 280€. they even said that if he hadn’t had the money there was nothing they could do. after a long talk they talked to the manager and agreed to let us stay for the original price. such a disappointment having to explain to the receptionist the basics but eventually all was good.

The room was spacious and clean. It looks like the rooms have been recently renovated, which can not be said about the rest of the hotel. The location is good, in the vicinity of Veluwe.

The shared areas of the hotel are so basic and old. It doesn't look very welcoming.

I did not have a car during my stay here, but the local bus that comes every half hour, was right outside the property. The hotel finds itself in a very quiet rural area. There is nothing better than having a drink at dawn in their own garden. Even though the rooms need an upgrade, the bed was super comfy and you get clean towels everyday

Remote location but close to a lot of history. We had a very nice sleep and excellent breakfast with so many features. Swimming pool was nice

No fault of the hotel, but families allow their children to run in the halls and make noises, which woke us up several times

Lifts very slow and breakfast could improve with more options. Scrambled eggs a bit dry.

The location is great and the place has an atmosphere of luxury with a very reasonable price.

Parking was a bit awkward with cars too close together. There's enough space!

Nice clean room in beautiful location

due to covid restrictions had to eat on the room, having starter and main course delivered at same time we can appreciate from staff impact point of view, but did not improve the temperature of the main course... Hopefully soon we'll be able to eat in the restaurant again.
