Great location, super handy to restaurants and shops, with a lovely outlook to the river. Check in was easy and staff were friendly and welcoming. Great sized room with a balcony provided a relaxing spot where you could enjoy a wine st the end of the day.

If looking for negatives I would say another mirror in the lounge that allowed the ability to get closer for makeup application. And shower design did turn the bathroom into a bit of a swamp, but that is just nitpicking and didn't detract from our fantastic stay, thank you!

This was one of the nicest Motor Inn that we have ever stayed at. The rooms were large and it was very clean. The location was excellent as it was close to everything we wanted to see in Grisborn. The only thing we were disappointed with was their WiFi, which was dreadfully slow and really unusable. Since I need wifi to keep in contact with investments, I would not stay there again.

As stated the only drawback to this hotel is the lack of adequate WiFi.

Wonderful team here at Pacific Harbour Motor Inn. They were so patient and kind to us. Due to a cancellation, we were upgraded to a bigger room. This was amazing for our son. He was able to enjoy the kitchenette and the bathtub. Everything was within walking distance and we rarely had to use our hire car.

Nothing at all. I'd stay here again and recommend the place to friends and family too.

Plate cupboards were very high to reach up to in the corner. We thought the aircon was in the wrong place as the cool air was not going into the bedroom, my son and daughter inlaw found it very hot and uncomfortable all night. I also moved the couch and bed in the lounge so I could watch at night while laying down, didn't want to look at the wall

Excellent proximity to river, cafes, restaurants, town centre, entertainment, scenic walks. Superb service from the moment Greta checked us in, fantastic housekeeping staff, great laundry facility. A huge room with very comfortable bed and bedding. Owners Graeme and Karen were delightful and Jude who checked us out on Easter Sunday was so lovely. Highly recommended this property.

The rooms were clean and tidy, we got an upgrade so we had a deck that we could sit on and watch the sunrise and just enjoy, the housekeeping staff were lovely they were friendly and helpful.i would highly recommend this place to anyone it was close to the river and the beach and a short walk to town and the warehouse where we stocked up on food, the little bar fridge was great even froze the ice creams

The location is perfect. Right next to the river and super close to town. Most things are in walking distance which was great. The lovely lady at the reception was so friendly and helpful and the rooms had everything we needed for the weekend.

Our preferred accommodation in Gisborne. Central with short walk to CBD and restaurants. Good views over port. Quiet road and good free on-site parking. Modern, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Very good value.

Nothing of concern at all. There is nothing we could fault. Room was comfortable.

We had booked in to stay when first arriving in Gisborne, before we headed out camping. We had a lovely spacious suite we were happy with. We then returned eight days later after camping. We asked if we could be changed to the same suite we had before and they said that was fine. I found that really accommodating of them and wanted to mention how nice that was.

We were greeted by Judy, who was so lovely and helpful, and walked us to our room and showed us where to park. We loved our room - comfy and had everything we needed. Hairdryer was great! Laundry facilities were excellent, easy to use and no coins required, which made it a bit easier when not carrying cash!
