Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. After a long day of travel, a nice, simple evening meal was include in the room rate. We didn’t have to worry about finding a place to eat. There was afternoon tea/coffee service with wonderful carrot cake. Location was right near shopping and an easy drive to skiing and dog sledding. Hotel was quiet and we had a great night’s sleep. Thank you!

Property is undergoing some renovations so the halls on the 1st floor were torn up waiting for new flooring to be laid. It was simply a visual thing that did not at all affect our overall stay.

The breakfast and light dinner were wonderful. Thank you Hanne at the front desk was very helpful and very friendly.

I would have liked some shelves or drawers in the room so I did not have to live out of a suitcase for 8 days. I have a hard time with the electronic locks in the room. I prefer rooms with deadbolts so I have confidence that the room is locked at night.

The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was functional and clean. We were offered a nice selection for breakfast and dinner (you can book the room with a dinner option which is interesting regarding the prices for food and restaurants in Norway in general). The lounge space is very nice and the possibility to have - for free - tea/coffee with even some cake around 5pm was greatly appreciated. The hotel is located in the city center of Lillehammer, in walking distance of the main tourist spots. I would recommend a stay at the Clarion Hotel.

If you arrive by car, parking can be a bit tricky. We found a spot further up the road.

Nice older hotel with very quiet clean rooms. After a long day of sightseeing, we really appreciated receiving dinner, as well as breakfast, and both meals offered several options to choose from.

The chap at the front desk seemed annoyed to have to wait on anyone, so we didn't feel welcomed. Also, parking is on the street wherever you can find it. Fortunately, for us we found a spot only about a block away and it was free.

Our stay at Clarion was the first stop in a three week cousins tour of Norway and Denmark. it was the perfect place for us to recover from jet-lag and just relax and get acquainted with Norway.

We liked that breakfast and dinner was included, and that the lounge area had so many seating areas for our small group to gather in the afternoon/evenings. We also like that we could walk to so many places from the hotel.

Loved this place. So homely, cosy and warm. Breakfast and evening meals were plentiful with good choices. Staff really friendly. Room was spacious and cosy (twin double) Underground parking was great with access straight in to the hotel (it was -12 and snowing) Great location to town centre and also transport links.

Great location, tasty breakfast, dinner and fika. If this hotel had a ski room and some equipment to take care (wax) of skis, it would be 10/10. It does not have that unfortunately, you have to take your skis and everything to your room. We dried our wet clothes after XC skiing on a heated bathroom floor. :) it worked well so we were satisfied enough

We liked the hotel so much! The staff was very nice and attentive. The room and the hotel as a whole were exceptionally clean. Everything was in order in our room, every last bulb and switch. The breakfast was delicious. And the location was very convenient. Overall, a very cozy experience. We especially enjoyed the hotel's lobby where you can get a cup of coffee and sip it by the fireplace. Looking forward to staying there again!

The friendly staff helped us with easy access via bus to the many xc skiing venues in and around Lillihammer. Complimentary breakfast had pretty much anything one could want for breakfast as well as lunch materials and fresh fruit. The complimentary dinner included soup, various salads and a main entre (some more tasty than others). The sauna was large, looked new and was clean!

One in our party was allergic to milk, which seemed to be in most of the complimentary dinner items. The chef did go out of his way to prepare a non-milk entre on request.

The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the charming main shopping street. There is free parking (limited spaces, but I always found one). The meals are good. Breakfast was especially good with a lot of variety. Dinner entrees were okay.
