The staff are relentlessly cheerful and helpful. Excellent breakfast, all you can eat every morning. Kitchen facilities and laundry facilities are available. It is not far from the centre of town, with gorgeous views.

The wifi in my room was very weak, so I had to attend to personal emails (eg edit the abstract for a conference paper) in the lounge area. Also, the washing in the basement area dries quite slowly, but I was warned about that!

The place was very charming and the breakfast was better than i expected. Great price, great location, will definitely book again!

It said there was an oven in the studio room description of the kitchen, which there wasn’t. I also wish there would have been an extra hand towel. A little extra embellished on booking.com, so I guess I expected a little bit more than I got, but that’s on me. :)

Breakfast and staff were fantastic, room was very basic and very warm so had to borrow a fan from reception, we had a room with two bunk beds and a shared bathroom as we booked late so no choice, next time will book with an en suite as didn’t like sharing bathroom.

Fairly basic hostel accommodation with bunk beds. You have to put the bedding on yourself and the bathroom is shared. But the place is super clean, with friendly staff, a great breakfast (included in the price) and fantastic views from the breakfast balcony, where you can also chill with a drink in the evening. Outstanding value for money in an expensive country, and an ideal stopover if you're on the long drive south towards Oslo or Torp airports.

Nothing not to like.

I never knew I would be so welcomed in a hostel. Their breakfast is sensational, with a huge variety and quality, and their hot chocolate is to die for. The fact that they have free coffee and tea 24/7 is a big big plus. They are very nice and always ready to help with a big smile. Wish my stay was longer and hope I can return!!

The cabin exactly matched the photos. It was very comfortable stay and the view from the cabin was excellent. There is a pool area nearby for swimming. The breakfast was really good with lot of spreads.

It would been better if the bathroom was bit big otherwise nothing to complain about the place

This must be among one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Dorm room was well sized, great leisure room to relax in, and the included breakfast would put many hotels to shame. The self-catering facilities are adequate. And all in a great location and for a good price (for Norwegian standards)

Not much, the mattress was a little soft/thin, but it didnt stop me having a good nights sleep.

We liked the site facilities even though didn’t have time to use the tennis courts. We enjoyed the lounge and ordered a pizza one evening which was lovely. Breakfast was good and it was great that we could grab a tea or coffee during the day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Perhaps having a more substantial and comfortable sofa would have made our room better, particularly if we had stayed at the hostel more during the day.

Amazing price for a hostel in Norway. The breakfast was great, in my opinion quite luxurious (e.g. smoked salmon, eggs, salad, different types of fresh bread and yoghurts). The dorm had a sink and I had the dorm to myself!

The location was a bit of a walk, but it was worth it. The bathroom wasn't that nice and the showers had no locks, just curtains, so everyone could walk in.

The cabin where I stayed (studio room) was very cute and had just what I needed for a couple of days. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good😊
