I like that the pools were available with limited restrictions. I also liked that apartment set up, which allowed me to cook the dishes I wanted to eat.

I don't like the fact that there is no Lifeguard on duty at the swimming pool. It's a must in a public setting there has to be a risk management team and that includes lifeguards. I'm not happy about that. I like to enjoy a few and if I'm enjoying would appreciate a team keeping an eye out for my children.

The apartments were very clean and accessible to swimming pool, airport and others. the more satisfying for me was that, there was a complement for the all inclusive meal, this has rest well for me.

Nothing that I don't like, all was good for us, just the laundry at apartment was not working, its a minor issue, if that can be looked at, it would be very nice place to stay.

Sort of a tradition to stop at Gateway when transiting or overnighting in pom so in my opinion it's comfortable and familiar. And the beds are super comfy. There are a variety of places to grab a bite to eat at Gateway which is convenient given its distance from the downtown area and other popular spots in pom. Jack's Bar & Restaurant has a nice view of the airport and the restaurant vibe in particular is very chill. Never super crowded. Rooms are also super spacious. And one of the best things about the hotel is that it's so close to the airport and the shuttle bus is always travelling between the hotel and the airport. Even if you're just transiting through it's a convenient spot to go to for lunch before heading back to the airport. Checking in was also quick.

My only issue this time around was I left a small bag of food from the cafe in the airport transfer bus when they dropped me off. Wanted to retrieve it so I called the hotel to advise I'd wait for the bus when it came back - but somehow my parcel went missing. So that was annoying. Never happened before with any of my luggage...but perhaps the lemon cheesecake was too good for someone to pass on 🤷🏿‍♀️ ALSO they probably should have a covered walkway for guests to Jack's which is at the back of the property (in case it's raining).

1. Room was excellent with multi channel TV. Unfortunately 60% of the channels were scramble. Needed looking into 2. Airport transfer was delayed. 3. Food was good. I enjoyed the dinner 4. Overall I'd recommend Gateway Hotel to any visitors to Port Moresby

I was satisfied. Given the pandemic, water jars removed from the room. However, bottled water provided which was good. As a below knee amputee, I'd recommend disability access be considered to include ramps, wheelchairs, etc. Maybe 1 or 2 rooms can be redesigned to allow easy access for people living with disabilities. Gateway may consider including disability support provided on its information brochures. An amputee climbing up the steps to the reception is giving me the impression that Gateway is no place for people living with disabilities.

The staff were so helpful. They were very friendly and kind..had an issue with my passport and a very friendly helpful young lady comfortably kept me clam.. Overall friendly helpful staff members with beautiful smiles.

Gateway Hotel is situated in an ideal location. It is only minutes from Jackson's airport. If you use Booking.com, you can get a better deal. The staff at the front desk are GREAT! They are always helpful and address you by name if you're a regular visitor.

1. You have to follow up with their laundry services. 1. During one of my visits, the apartment I stayed in (apartment 12) had a musty smell from the couch and a leaking air conditioning.

The hotel is well kept , the rooms are clean . Service at at the sizzlers restaurant is excellent. Staff at the hotel from cleaners to admin are very friendly and get out of their way to help you .

The security concern me abit as there are a constant flow of people coming in and out of the hotel so security should be asking people at the door to show proof of their right to be there whether it be guests or just people Attending organised events there such as conferences

I like the location of the Hotel because its close to the airport, and good for traveling people like me.

Well I stayed for 5 nights their the first 2 nights was ok but the next 3 nights we had problems with our aircondition, the room was very hot didn't sleep well, the staffs were informed but nobody attended to us, we were also locked out 2 times from our room so we had to go check the reception to update our room card.

Nice room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Airport shuttle was great.

Wifi was a bit slow and subject to a periodic reset requiring the connection to be re-established. Accessing the wifi was also a bit buggy, e.g. it took multiple attempts before the portal would acknowledge the connection request.

Environment was good. Perfect location next to airport.

Reception. Ladies at the counter are not cheerful and don't attend to customers quickly and kept let you standing for hours waiting to be served. Very poor customer service.
