Very comfortable and quiet room, nice staff, decent buffet breakfast, secure location, free airport transfer. The whole place is very contemporary and well designed and maintained, and we had a great night's sleep. An excellent stay overall.

Checkout was slow - not the receptionist's fault, but he was the only one on duty before 7am and had a complicated issue with another guest. They should have more people on reception at that time. Also the shuttle goes every half an hour but not on a particular schedule, so you need to allow extra time to get to the airport for an early-morning flight.

Great location, was central. Staff were really friendly and polite. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Towels and linen were clean. The shower and toilet were clean. Appropriate lighting, the night lights that come on by movement sensor, were a good touch. Area felt secure and well guarded.

Arrived at the hotel, and the room was not ready until 2 p.m., which was normal checkin time. However, I've been to other hotels that had my room ready upon arrival. One lift was out of service, and the lift that was working had no aircon and had a foul smell. I'm not a fan of carpet in a hotel room, and I wasn't surprised that the carpet looked dirty with stains.

Friendly staff and helpful

Dinner: I was directed to Holiday Inn across the path to have dinner. I thought there would be a cafe or restaurant on-site to have lunch or afternoon tea. You were only offering buffet breakfast if I remember correctly. No air-conditioning in lifts it was smelly and coming up to my room level, no air-conditioning, as I stepped off the lift to my room. It was quite warm. But otherwise, my room was clean (one of my pillow cases was dirty) it was replaced by one of your friendly housekeeping staff, and air-conditioning was cold in the room.

Front desk staff were excellent throughout my stay. Many times they went the extra mile to make the stay very nice. Rooms are well appointed, although the two different times I stayed during the week, they had quite different characters in terms of room service menu, directions for the TV, etc.

The AC did not work well in my room this stay, although it worked great earlier in the week in a different room. Breakfast could have more variety. Wifi a bit spotty at times and there was no real check-in briefing on breakfast times, gym location, etc.

1. Location of hotel. 2. The two young attendants at the front desk who checked me into the hotel. Emily was one of them and the main person here (but couldn't get the name of the young man, sorry). Very professional and pleasant. Left a very good impression.

Being stopped at the restaurant when I went there to have my free breakfast (part of my booking which included free breakfast). Gave my room number, verified by the first attendant who then asked a second attendant to double-verify me. The second attendant took a bit of time to do her verification (during this time two other expats came in, gave their room numbers and walked straight in) so I walked off and went elsewhere for breakfast. So much for free breakfast! So bought my own breakfast elsewhere over the 2 days I was there. Not good at all. Funny that the night before, I walked straight in for dinner with no checks whatsoever. Go figure.

Good breakfast and location. I liked the setting of the dining area and the view towards the driveway between the adjacent facilities. I was happy with the way the ladies at the reception communicated their services to me.

I had to be extra cautious crossing the drive way. A crossing would be good. It wasn't clear if I could ask security to call a taxi in.

It is a great location as it is centrally situated in Port Moresby so it is easily accessible and is close to major shopping centers and other facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful in meeting my special requests.

Only one lift was operational during my stay so it a bit of an inconvenience.

Same as previous review. Room this time was comfortable and the AC worked well, but that is not always true for other rooms. There is some variation.

Breakfast could have more options. They were having some lift problems, so only the service lift was available. Not a major inconvenience, but it could get busy.

The security was good. I thought someone stole my car and they were helpful in looking for it. It was in the basement all the time because that was where I left it hahaha.
