The bed ,location

Not enough seats at the lobby. Guests have to find somewhere around to stand. It's just a weird atmosphere. Should definitely put more chairs at lobby area. Breakfast time mentioned is until 10AM but seemed like staffs stop adding foods 30 mins earlier. About 9:30 there was no more rice and Nutto, the Japanese food station was totally empty. I asked staff for rice but they did not bring. Later I saw another guest checked Japanese station for rice too and the food still not added ,then I heard she complained heavily about it. Later on staff brought some rice but still not Nutto, just the rice. I went for breakfast three times during my stay, agreed that the foods finish too soon, 30 mins before 10AM and almost everything's gone and looks cold. Hope you can improve.

Everything was very satisfactory. Cleanliness, efficiency, facilities were all good. Breakfast was excellent though a bit more international variety would have been welcome. One recommendation - do not do Indian when you don't have a cook who is not highly trained in Indian cooking. I tried the Indian dishes for breakfast and they were all below par for Indian dishes. Did not resemble anything like the authentic dishes they purport to resemble.

Long queues at check-in. This can be avoided by placing more staff at check-in. This is not difficult to manage because the hotel should know when and how many guests will be checking in and can roster staff accordingly or at least have back up when the queues get longer. It is unacceptable to have guests queuing for more than 15 minutes max especially when one has had a long flight and is dying to get a shower and go to bed.

Staff is very efficient and friendly. Room was good. I loved the water in flasks and the water station at every floor. also when you rehang your towel to reuse, they leave it (many hotels advertise, however staff always takes all towels on daily basis). they did leave fresh towels to give you the opportunity to change. Shampoo, bath soap, etc was all in bottles for you to use, so no wastage. There was coffee and tea making facilities. The food during the conference was nice. We only utilised the lunch buffet once which was absolutely outstanding food for both Western and Asian pallets. Location was walkable distance to shopping centres and Green belt with nice park and restaurants.

I did not liked the pillows. In general I do not like down pillows as they loose shape and volume and in this case when the air is pushed out, it had a smell to it. Duvet cover was quite thin and I used the bathrobe as extra layer (even though our aircon was on 22).

The property has an ensuite bathroom , Spacious bedroom with King bed perfect to rest and relax your day. Miticulously cleaned to give you a fresher smell and feel at home. They have a peaceful garden with fish pond and relaxing sounds of birds, squirrel and finished with the sounds of the leaves that relax your senses. Stunningly beautiful to enjoy your stay. Pool is clean and spacious to motivate your synergy. And it was perfected by the beautiful people full of hospitality and kindness. Miss Miguel made it possible for me to experience these wonderful stay upgraded my room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and extended my stay to complete my day. I highly recommed this 5-star hotel full of beauty and hospitality.

some minor scratches that will not affect your stay.

Upgraded to club lounge level. There was some confusion about the benefits / inclusive but was able to fixed by Ms Fletch. Room is not that impressive but neat. The breakfast has a lot of choice. But the next morning, most of the main food are salty in taste. The hotel has a beautiful garden to unwind at night.

Seems for me the concierge not trained about courtesy as no one offers to carry our luggage to our room. Doorman, same as times they just stand in there & don't open & greet you coming in & out. I also asked them about room massage service for the next day, but they started ringing my room nonstop when I was on the shower & at rest. The therapist they provided not from the hotel & not really fixed my concern. At the pool area, only on the next day, I found out that there is actually changing room & sauna, in-house massage therapists? Not much information provided where & what facilities you're allowed as a guest 🤔.

Best hotel i have ever been to. People where so nice. Room big, colorful, clean, silent with alot of privacy. Pool is nice and protected from wind. All restaurants exeptional, espacialy banjarong was a true lifetime experience. The garden with the koi fish beautiful and has also a smoking area where you can enjoy the garden too. And alot of other stuff to do inside the hotel. I wanna thank espacialy to the manager for all the nice services she did for free for us, like a surprise chocolate cake with happy anniversary on it when we came back from outside and even a free upgrade to an bigger room when she knew about our anniversary. I will come back for sure, the question is not if, its when. Salamat po ate and kuyas

Dusit Thani Manila is the only 5-star hotel in Makati with the best rates. We stayed here for my mom’s birthday and Dusit’s Miguel and Tian made it special by sending her and my papa a cake , stuffed toys (elephant) and fresh fruits. The manager checked in on us, too. The lobby smelled great with Thai botanical notes and Thai live string music. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds gave us good sleep. We ordered room service for dinner and all our orders were very delicious. It is across SM Makati shopping mall where you can find everything at good prices (Filipino souvenir shirts and crafts, grocery, cosmetics, fashion). Dusit has a beautiful garden with a Buddha fountain and lots of koi fish for kids to watch, a refreshing pool, delicious buffet and bakeshop, and several restaurants surrounding it too - pizza or Japanese teppan across the street. Or the whole slew of 4 interconnected malls (SM, Glorietta, Landmark and Greenbelt) starting at your doorstep

We love the Dusit hotels and when we knew there was one in Manila we felt there was nowhere else we'd rather stay. The service is always amazing and so friendly and to make everything even better we were treated to a room upgrade and discounts off of services as we had been selected at random for the day. Breakfast was SO good, as it always is in all Dusit hotels, with a great variety of different foods and drinks and again amazing service with a smile. The staff really make this place what it is! (We are in the Philippines for a month with Manila being out first and last stops of our trip - we will look forward to checking back in for our last night in the Philippines, ending our honeymoon in style at Dusit once more.)

If I had to pick something I'd say maybe the bathroom in our room is getting close to the end of its life and could do with an upgrade, but really that's picking hairs, as our whole stay was brilliant and comfortable.

The fact we were upgraded to a larger suite, that our boys loved, as it had so much space. The extra large double bed, that my wife and I and our two boys fitted on no problem. The food and drinks. The breakfast, though it’s not providing real orange or mango juice. The close proximity of SM Mall. The ease of which we could extend our stay until Sunday 8th September. Due to my meeting with Bureau of Immigration being moved because of heavy rain in Metro Manila that resulted in flooded roads.

The fact the wrong luggage was at first sent to our room, even after I had to describe to reception what my luggage looked like, after I enquired where it was and why it was late arriving. The Porter had a very aggressive attitude and he tried to blame me for this incident! He also shouted Let’s Go! Let’s Go! When I got angry back at him. I reported this to a manager and other then hearing he’d be retrained I received no further feedback about this incident or the person responsible. I’m actually shocked that this person is still, as far as I know, being employed.

Once again our "home away from home" provided an outstanding 2 week vacation stay Feb 7 -22, 2024). As always the staff provides warm, welcoming and professional services from reception, concierge, dining room and housekeeping . It is always a pleasure to stay at Dusit - the location is perfect, and the people make you feel like treasured family.
