room not cleaned enough, lot of dust under the beds and floor not clean. Beach not accessible because there is a sign with jelly fish in rhe water, afraid to enter. The pool is dirty, water is from the ocean and it s green and really dirty you can t go in the pool. Had spiders in the room, the ceiling has cracks in it and things can go in and out. Not much that you can do on the propery, you only have to relax sleep eat drink. Wifi slow but you have global that works ok

Full of soul family business in the heart of Busuanga's exotic, untouched hidden coast. Absolutely worth the trip! Arriving by plane, call the hotel to book in advance a 30m van ride from Francisco B. Reyes airport OR 5pm 2h van share ride from Coron proper. Sarah and Anna are an excellent pair of caring and charismatic operators, welcoming you in and explaining all the tips and tricks only locals would know (e.g. A nearby wharf off the beaten track with some of the most marvelous sunsets). Through them I also booked the ultimate Coron tour which truly blew my mind - skeleton wreck, twin lagoons, CYC beach and barracuda lake (I was lucky enough to see the one of the eponymous barracudas, lurking deep in the dark like a creepy grey missile!!). Some of the best colours I've seen underwater in my life, iridescent blues and pinks, including El Nido! Cocovana has a great kitchen, lively Karaoke setup, perfect leapoff point for discreet yours like black rock island. Tìm, another part of the Cocovana team, highly recommended Black Island which was an absolute winner. Pretty much off the grid, this island is like something from Lord of the Flies. Almost totally empty of people, sparkling cerulean water, fascinating wrecks and enchanting caves. We loved every minute. The charming wooden terraces, verandahs and castle-like clusters of rooms, with spacious clean interiors, made for a magical retreat after the nature hopping. Cheers Cocovana ❤️

Excellent! Staff is very nice. Great accommodations Cooking is amazing. Alcohol drinks are nice and strong. Very quiet are no roosters. Great view of ocean & sunset. Nice pool and grounds. 2nd time staying. Stayed at triple room that had A/C with no toilet but had shower with hot water. Group tolite area was private rooms with actual toilet and sink. Area also had private shower rooms. Private means rooms not bathroom stall portions that u can see over and under,

they allow guest to smoke in the eating area. guest asked wile we eating right next to them can they smoke. staff should think about others and have a smoking area like most ever other place does in Philippines

A must stay during your time in Coron / Busuanga! It is hard to do this place justice in a review. The location is amazing! Beautiful views, sunsets, sunrises over the ocean and nearby islands, close proximity to Ocam Ocam Beach (also amazing), wreck diving in Busuanga Bay, away from the hustle and bustle of Coron Town and close to the port that goes to Black Island ahead of the crowds traveling from Coron Town. 10/10. The rooms are clean, comfortable and combined with the views from bed / the private balcony made for one of our favourite stays across the Philippines so far (joint with places costing >5x the price!). The food is just like the accommodation - super good and very affordable. And finally the staff - super friendly, hospitable and happy to help. Particularly Sarah who went above and beyond to make our stay so seamless - helping with transfers, recommendations and organising unforgettable tailor made trips / tours. You'd be silly to miss this place on your travels!

There is nothing not to like!

Beautiful pool and natural feel to the whole place. Super friendly staff and great kitchen, even the pizzas were good. Clean and lots of amenities in the bathroom, they just thought of the little things.

Tour to black island was lots of fun, but the arrangement was a little overly complicated. Food was plenty, but a little underwhelming considering we paid 500 each. Black island was amazing though.

The beauty and tranquility of this resort is even better in person than in the photos. The room was clean and comfortable, exactly as advertised. The food and drink was delicious and very reasonably priced. The pool is refreshing and the cats & dog on site are super friendly. Above all, the owners and staff are the most welcoming, helpful, and friendly people we met on our trip. They reached out before we arrived to offer a variety of transportation options, provided advice regarding local activities, and even took care of our laundry during our stay. In the evening, we sat for hours sharing stories and singing karaoke together. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!

There is absolutely nothing negative to say. Yes, it is far from town (took us 90 mins on scooters because we drove slow to take in all the sights)... But that's the point! There is no noise, no hustle, just you and the sound of the ocean. The value for money is incredible and, if you are reading this, you should not hesitate to book your stay at Cocovana!! You will not be disappointed :)

Very beautiful nature and views from any place. Calm and chill atmosphere. Pure air and water. Cool bungalow with comfy bed and good aircon, without insects inside, surrounded by natural sounds and great sea views from the balcony. Delicious and vegetarian friendly food - the best veggie curry ever! Very friendly and helping staff - helped a lot with transport.

Everything was great, just minor things to look at: - no shelves inside the room - wifi is working slowly but enough for basic needs (also smart telecom has no network coverage, buy globe)

Anna, Sarah and all the staff are so lovely and helpful - they helped me to organise some wreck diving with Pirate Divers (here is a closer location to do the wrecks than Coron) and island hoping. They have created a little paradise with lovely home cooked food, hammocks and a fresh water infinity pool. Be aware it is a little remote with no town in walking distance but all the activities include transport and you can rent motorbikes.

Wifi can be a bit hit and miss. If you are getting a SIM card globe works here, smart does not.

The views from the room were breathtaking. The sunset from the room or from the bar were amazing. The staff had high attention to detail and was super nice. Whatever you need ask them and they will give you options.

The wifi was not working most of the time and the 3G was not connecting also. On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend this place as a solo traveller as it takes 1h to go to Coron town to join any group tours. The alternative would be a private tour to see the islands which was very expensive. Off course, I chose this place without checking the distance to Coron town so it was my fault.

The Cocovana Beach resort was the best place we stayed at in the Philippines, not only of the paradisiac vibe or for the amazing hut, but also for the incredible kindness of the staff, especially Anna. She organized an amazing trip to Black Island for us, and was always available to give us information and to help us when we had a little mishap with the bus, Anna is really an exceptionnal host. We were so nicely welcomed, and we were struck by how authentic our stay felt that I would advise anyone coming in Coron to come stay at this little paradise!
