What a beautifully landscaped and designed rooms and the building. It is close enough to walk to the Boardwalk by the water, 10 minutes. The room and facility has a very island motif. Heavy dark stained wood on the floors. Palm matting on the walls and overhead. The rooms have the most comfortable beds that my wife and I have slept in while in the Philippines. Netflix on the TV was a nice touch. Oh, the staff was helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. Great scenic top floor dining area.

The water pressure was low. Not uncommon in the Philippines but.... Breakfast was good but it is the same everyday.

I spent 17 days at the Hotel Puerto Pension. I felt at home. The staff, whether at breakfast (thanks Marko and team) or at reception (thanks Christine and team) always looked after me very well, always helpful with information about trips on Palawan or other questions (good tips). I will definitely visit the beautiful island again and spend my next vacation with the friendly staff at Puerto Pension. Thank you all very much.

The remote control for the television.

The whole place is built on the theme of traditional Philippine homes with bamboo and banana leaf pseudo construction… very attractive. The staff was friendly and the in room massage was great after a 4 day Expedia and a whole day traveling in boats and vans. Free breakfast was nice too. The location is near the bay walk which is nice.

The AC did not work until i jiggled some wires and the hot water didn’t work at all though I’m sure it would have been fixed if I asked…

Staff was super friendly and approachable. From the start the receptionist lady was very chatty and smiley. This is a fresh approach as in our holiday here in the Philippines we stayed in hotels where we were missing this positive vibes and Filipino smile :)! Breakfast was very nice and had a nice view from the top. Garden is nice to relax with a beer. Hotel helps you with your questions and helps you arrange tricycles.

Only advice is to do something about the mosquitoes in the room. There were quite a few and I was bitten a lot. Also, the room photos show a smart flat screen tv, but we had a big CRT TV from the 90s that was loosen and not screwed properly which is dangerous. Edit the photos of the room to show the oldschool tv and screw it more secure.

Nice decoration and comfortable bed for one night. Bathroom with window. We even got breakfast as takeaway due to an early morning flight. The view from breakfast room on top is very very nice.

Pictures are taken with open door. There are actually no windows in the room for daylight. Basin and mirror in bathroom should be repaired or replaced. Be aware of thousands of mosquitos - fan alone is not sufficient enough

Really good place to stay. Small hotel and cozy. I really liked the atmosphere. The staff will do everything to help you or to make your stay the best. They help us to book tours, scooter, van to get to El nido. When we checked out we had to wait one hour before our van comes, so they invited us to join for their lunch. Really welcoming and kind people. I’d definitely go back there if I visit Puerto princesa again. The hotel is next to the baywalk and walking distance from the center but in a quiet location 🙂 Thank you Again Puerto Inn Staff 😁

Nice location near baywalk, lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff! They arranged oir pick up very early in the morning from the airport and we could have a very early check-in for a small fee. Also arranged a car for us for visiting this amazing beach at a good price. Nice beds and nice breakfast with the best view!And love how it's eco-friendly! Would recommend!

The atmosphere is very beautiful and cozy. Gives you a very chill vibe. It's very close to the bar and restaurant area. Good place for the price.

Continental Breakfast is not great (instant coffee, etc.). Also there are some parts which would need some renovation.

My wife and I stayed in the 'Superior Queen Room'. Room - Relatively clean with a good view across the bay. Staff - Polite, courteous and helpful. Services - We arranged a tour to the Subterranean River via the hotel.

Breakfast - The coffee was OK, as was the fruit, but we're not sure what bread they were using. It was very dry and stale. Room - It was quite dark and the bathroom was quite cramped. Some of the furniture and fittings (e.g. plug sockets) were also falling apart.

For the price, this older traditional style hotel had lots of character and was in a quiet spot just 5 min walk to the popular Bay walk area, which is also only a 10 min tricycle ride to the airport. Along with a free late checkout from the friendly staff, my overnight stay was very pleasant, and I would definitely choose to stay here the next time I'm in Puerto princessa!
