We stayed overnight before our flight back to Cebu the next day. It was perfect place for us to retire after a long road trip from El Nido. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and staff were friendly. The owner (Andrea) graciously greeted us upon our arrival and was also there to meet us before we left and made sure that we had all our needs attended. There’s a restaurant/cafe downstairs which is 24/7. The ambience is wonderful, food was superb, and location to the airport is only less than 15 minute van ride.

no temperature regulator for hot/cold shower; water gets too hot. I need to completely turn off the faucet to avoid scalding.

I like how accessible it is to the airport and restaurants/eateries nearby. The property itself has a cafe and bar wherein you could relax and unwind from the day’s heat and expedition. The airconditioning works well so you are off to a good night’s sleep.

Perhaps this is just a stray instance but during my stay, there was no water from the faucet, shower, and toilet bowl. I was told that there has been a water interruption since there’s some service going on. But the staff was kind enough to provide me with a full container of water so I could take my shower and do my thing. I hope the water problem gets sorted out. :)

STAY here if you're in Puerto Princesa and want the BEST service, practical location and not least a clean and comfy place! Couldn't wish for better service! The free airport shuttle was SO appreciated, breakfast nice and practical and not least were we advised beyond perfection from Andrea, who helped us arrange the best transportation and speedboat tours in El Nido and Coron. Even though we were only here for one night, the hotel/Andrea made sure everything was ready and arranged for us, so we could have a perfect stay. They even checked up on us after leaving to make sure the transportation and tours lived up to our expectations. Wanderlust totally EXCEEDED my exceptions and I recommend all to stay at this place, it has all you'll need. THANK YOU FOR A PERFECT STAY Wanderlust, you really took care of us!

I recommend the hotel to upgrade the quality of the meat in the Kare Kare dish, as we were two people not being fond of this, however my other travel companions LOVED their dishes (baby back ribs and other filipino dishes) from the hotel's café. Otherwise EVERYTHING was GREAT about the place! Very nice and practical to have a cozy café serving food until late and also early morning. As we were arriving quite late and leaving early, we were happy to eat here both times.

A budget hotel that goes above and beyond in a few areas, specifically (1) the staff and service, which rivals that in much more expensive hotels (do book your tours, massages, transfers through reception), and (2) the cafe/bar which lays on excellent food, including very tasty breakfasts (again on a par with much more expensive hotel restaurants). Rooms are clean and functional. The single is small but has everything you need. Wifi works relatively well, most of the time. Location excellent. 10 mins to airport. Lots of very good eating options on the doorstep (including their own cafe!).

We stayed overnight on our way to El Nido and cannot overstate the hospitality. We arrived late at night while raining. They had a private function going on in the restaurant. We walked to get food elsewhere and returned due to the heavy rain. While waiting outside to figure out where to go for food, someone inside noticed we returned. The staff came out to get us and told us they would cook for us although the kitchen was already closed. The food was really good. We return for breakfast on our way out. The rooms were cozy and clean. I will stay again if I find myself in this area again.

Not a matter of liking or not liking . I’m a Marriott platinum and Hilton diamond member, therefore this locale caters to different lodging segment. This bed and breakfast has the service and attentiveness of a 5 Star hotel, it’s just a smaller facility. If I owned a hotel, I’d like my staff to be like this staff overall.

We booked just for an overnight stay due to an early morning flight the next day. Staff were helpful and organised a tuktuk/ trike for us early in the morning (3:30am). The on-site restaurant had a great selection and tasted great. The room was big and clean. Also had a big tv with YouTube.

The area wasn’t the nicest and didn’t feel the most safe especially in the evening, however it’s right by the airport so was more for convenience than anything else.

The hotel is clean, in a great location and the staff are so friendly and helpful! They sorted out our airport transfers and gave us welcome drinks. They helped us plan our day, gave us lots of recommendations on what to do and organised our taxis. We only stayed for one day but had such a memorable and special time… we went to the flower garden, bay walk and even got a tattoo in Danver’s bar next to Wanderlust! They had really good breakfast options and delicious coffee too with sustainable cups and takeaway boxes - biodegradable made from kasava ;) Wanna know more? the owner Andreah is super nice, helpful. She was super reactive to any question/query I had. We had a long chat around a cup of tea. She definitely knows how to make you feel comfortable & also special in her B&B. I also had a wonderful experience at the restaurant of this B&B. I ordered dinner and I was really not expecting to get such a nice plating and nice food, definitely felt like a fancy restaurant. the GM of the place took care of my order and my requests, he was very nice & professional. keep up the good work :)

only 1slight detail that was kinda confusing: I tried to book transportation thru the B&B from Puerto Princesa to another city but I got different prices from different people from the staff , which was kinda annoying. But to be fair, Andreah the owner fixed this issue right away and got me a good deal (the initial price she advised me) which was reassuring but by then I had already booked somewhere else. I think the staff needed to align on these sort of things , so I’d say there is room to improve for them on that area : communication & alignment :)

As soon as I walked in the door Andrea made me feel at home. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and modern, a real boutique venue. The food is excellent and the room is spacious and well equipped. The towels are very soft and linen lovely. The hospitality I received was a breath of fresh air after a poor experience at another nearby hotel. I highly recommend Wanderlust and am excited to see their future plans unfold. P.s. the sustainability focus is a big bonus! Well done everyone!

The aircon was louder than usual but Andrea had already told me about this beforehand. It is being upgraded in the coming weeks.

The hotel manager (Andrea? - sorry if I misremembered the name) was absolutely fantastic. So so helpful at every step along the way and very friendly. Checked up on how I was after the stay. Really, really lovely human being. :-) Food was incredible. Had the locally caught fish and it was superb. Kids loved the pancakes!

Was a bit of a mix up with payment, as I wasn’t able to pay for the extras on card. But no biggie.
