The hotel was renovated very nicely. The outlook from breakfast room is excellent.

I could not get into hotel and find anybody at the reception, even on phone. I booked and reguested for parking slot. The answer was that the hotel has its own parking slots, but at the end it was said that city center is free for parking so that I should find a parking slot. But this is not always so easy. It is a general problem of Portugeese hotels - they did not distingueshed between hotel and city parking. Even if city is free for parking it is usually occupied and to find a FREE slot for pakring is difficult.

Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Rooms get quite warm due to the location of the town but there is a well working A/C in the rooms. Breakfast in the uppermost story with a nice terrace overlooking the town and river. Parking in front of the hotel was difficult in the afternoon (only two parking spots for the hotel that are also used by non-hotel guests) but very easy in the evening! Additionally, there are a lot of free parking spaces around town.

Breakfast was overall ok but consisted of mostly pastries, cookies and sweet stuff. Small selection of healthy options.

The hotel is in the heart of Alcaser do Sal, I don't think you can get any more central. The staff is amazingly helpful, the rooms cozy and nice. The breakfast is a feast, both for your palate and your eyes because you can see the whole panorama of the Sado River and the city from top floor restaurant. A rare place to find and stay!

The rooms might be bigger but then again its the city that you visit, not the hotel :D

Breakfast was perfect the size of the room ok bathroom very good, with a large shower and enough soap for 2 people it was not hard to find a free parking place for the car the position of the hotel is very central very kind personnel

only very minor modifications, e.g., some sign on the road to indicate the position of the hotel (both the GPS did its job correctly) would be appreciated, but this is not so important.

Great location on river in heart of small town, excellent breakfast with nice river view, helpful staff, pleasant boardwalk along river to walk just outside hotel.

There was nothing that we disliked. Room is a bit small, though perfectly adequate and expected for the historical type of facility it is.

Amazing views from our riverside room, similar to the breakfast dining room with panoramic views. Excellent breakfast, very helpful staff and lively restaurants nearby. We have visited this area a number of times and this hotel is a great local treasure.

A lovely location overlooking the river. Very nice in the evening watching the people outside and the estuary changing with the tides. The penthouse breakfast room was delightful in the morning.

We were disappointed that the dining room was not open for meals. The photos show it all set up for dining. It will be a great asset when the restaurant is functioning.

one minus point: the sound insulation is ... terrible - no soundproofing at all - neighbors talking - shower next room like running in your room ;-(

This is a really nice hotel with an excellent location within the city itself. Easy free parking if needed. Nice friendly staff and very nice and clean

Breakfast is not it's best feature at this hotel even when served on last floor with a fantastic view over the river

The cleaner kept knocking the door to clean. check out was 12:00 - that was annoying. No coffee making facility in room - this is do important!
