Nice stay at Monte Brasil Hotel. Very nice staff and room. I liked the location as it was in the center but it was quiet at night. The breakfast was pretty good with nice scrambled eggs and decent breads. The coffee wasn't to my liking but I find this to be the case in most hotels in Portugal. Bars and cafés have wonderful coffee so I just would grab an expresso close to the hotel. Overall experience at the hotel was positive.

The hotel is really well located, right in the centre of Angra Do Heroismo and close to plenty of services like restaurants, mini market, bakery, and other shops. Parking around the hotel is easy and there are free slots just around the corner. The room was clean (and it had a lovely small balcony!) and the staff was super kind and friendly. Breakfast is not extraordinary but it’s definitely enough to start the day. Overall, this is the perfect place to stay when wondering around Terceira, between hiking trials, good restaurants, and sightseeing spots. I can safely say that I recommend this hotel and that I would go back there.

We found this place with a good value for money (75 EUR/night). Staff was excellent. Comfortable mattresses, nice and clean bathrooms. Location is great for Angra, at most a ten minute walk to the main attractions.

The room drawers were a little dusty inside. I would use the vacuum cleaner more often at the main hall carpet. It was a very narrow option for meat and no vegetables at the breakfast. Besides these, this hotel offered superior services than the two stars it has. I recommend it.

Perfectly nice hotel! We stayed for only one night as we passed through Terceira. Everything was clean and comfortable enough. The wifi was very good, good enough for me to stream and even take a work call. The room is small, but not unmanagable. The staff was helpful and kind. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed the town of Angra, it has a bit more history and architectural beauty than we found elsewhere in the Acores, and this was the perfect location to explore from.

As mentioned, the room was small but not bad. Breakfast is pretty meh, can skip - simple cereals and toasts.

Hotel Monte Brasil is nicely situated in Angra do Heroísmo close to cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops. only a 3- 4 minute walk to the center of the city and botanical gardens, and ocean views a 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful, and informative. we enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning guests for another stay at Hotel Monte Brasil when we return to this lovely Island of Terceira and Heritage City of Angra do Heroísmo We highly recommend Hotel Monte Brasil for the it's comfort, charm, location, and price. Very modern and clean hotel, recently renovated. Right in the center of Angra, super conveniente location. Better than some 4 star hotels I have stayed at.

The bathroom design isn't great, and the water from the shower overflows to the rest of the bathroom.

Great location, off the main street, near all stores, restaurants, and shopping. Clean hotel, working elevator, big windows in the room that provide much light and air. The bathroom was a good size too. A good hotel for a quick stay in Angra do Heroismo. The staff was wonderful giving suggestions as to where to eat and getting a taxi to the airport.

The breakfast was basic. Eggs only one style, and just one type of coffee (regular), no expresso or cappuccino. It's a 2 star hotel - so it's completely understandable.

The location is amazing, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating! They gave us lots of good recommendations and let us check in very early, since we had a morning flight. They weren't able to give us a double bed, but they put two single ones together which was fine since we were only staying the one night.

The room was a little small and it was hard to figure out how the AC worked. Breakfast was okay but not super great.

Charming room with a beautiful view of the ocean and the city of Angra. Accessible to restaurants, beach, supermarket, coffee shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. The hotel looks very smart and brand new, everything’s kept in tip top shape. The room was very comfortable, and the premises were spotless.

Breakfast was very limited, few choices and glaring omissions.

central location and staff are very helpful. we arrived late at night and the staff on call was able to greet us and helped us out. The next day, the staff at the desk was also very kind and helpful. Overall great value and location.

Breakfast was okay but not for picky eaters - felt similar to a Holiday Inn quality; it’s hard for me to compare to other hotels in the area.
