The location of the property was absolutely fabulous. I can’t say anything bad, the staff was exceptional. And the young lady at the front desk, did everything she could to help us every single day. I would like to commend her for her excellent work she did for me. I just can’t remember her name but I’m sure she can remember me.

The only issue that I had about the property was it seems that it needed an update perhaps some new carpet, and I’m sure they already know that. Just minor upgrades, Paint carpet, etc. Other than that like I said absolutely fantastic.

We loved everythinga about this hotel. We love the rooms, the special touch with the cupcakes upon arrival was very nice. The employee who handled our check-in I cannot recall her name but she is from Sao Miguel from Livramente, she was absolutely the best and sweetest! Our room was perfect (clean, comfortable and with a gorgeous view). I would go back for sure.

There is not one thing we did not like, we loved everything about this hotel. It was a 10/10 for us! The hotel was so attentive to our needs, we travelled with a large group with an infant and everything was perfectly set up.

The hotel shares the community fitness center, so you have access to a gym with much better equipment than your standard hotel. The indoor and outdoor pool options are nice as well, though I did not utilize them.

It's probably not an issue for a shorter stay as there are plenty of options, but the breakfast buffet does get old after some time. The options do not really change daily, and if you want eggs other than hard boiled or scrambled, you have to pay.

The location and views are breathtaking. The access to the boardwalk is nice. Pool area is beautiful and inciting. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast is very good. Bar offers a variety of foods with good quality. Staff is attentive and helpful

We booked 2 rooms and had a few issues with one of the rooms. Drainage in shower was not working well but they fixed it the second night. Air conditioning on/off button was not working properly and they tried to fix it. Views from one room were blocked by trees. All minor issues and staff tried to solve all.

Very Nice hotel, the best location, beautiful Garden and comfy rooms

The space of inner pool, sauna and fitness rooms are rented to some local fitness company, which gives very bad impression. Place is always super full with training people, very loud, sauna is in very bad condition. No privicity for guests of hotel, it's a common area. Very bad impact for hotel.

Amazing seaview from room, beautiful interior, USB plug by the bed. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Excellent wide choice at breakfast, vegan options provided on request, bar food is great with vegetarian and vegan options, and bartenders are really nice. Gym is state of the art. Location is great, close to town as well as short drive to major sights.

I will start saying I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I visited the island, but there are a few things where improvement could be done: both indoor and outdoor swimming pool water was cold, the outdoor swimming pool area was not yet in season, so could possibly be very pleasant in the summer; indoor jacuzzi water was also luke warm so not great sitting in it, the jacuzzi/massage function was broken and barely worked; dinner buffet was very expensive (£26 pp) and we are a vegetarian family with less choices.

The breakfast was a good mixture of cold and hot foods with local variety. The staff was helpful and gave good recommendations for places to eat. The hotel was in a good local that wasn’t too far from downtown angra but was far enough that it wasn’t too busy or loud. We rented a car to explore Terceira, but there are tours that pick you up at the hotel. This is also a close location to some whale watching tour operators so was a quick drive over!

Unfortunately I have allergies, so the carpeting did make my nose itch.

The way the hotel is located that all rooms have a view to the sea and that none of the rooms look into each other. Housekeeping staff were magnificent! Shewas kind and thoughtful and offered some suggestions when. we were not feeling very well. Breakfast buffet was great with a large selection available.

The premises are looking tired, carpets right out of the elevators on the second floor are loose and potentially over time can cause tripping hazards. Early morning reception staff could have been more attentive and acknowledging guests standing right in front of them. Note the events are held on the foyer making it very difficult for hotel guests to access the elevators. No tea or coffee making facilities available.

Terceira Mar Hotel exceeded our expectations! First and foremost, it offers a spectacular view of the ocean and Monte Brasil. The staff was professional and always friendly and courteous, never pretentious. Our room was spacious, clean, modern, and offered a super comfy bed and bedding, as well as a spacious bathroom with designer toiletries, ample counter space and a bidet. There was more than enough closet space and drawers. My favorite part about our room was opening the balcony doors at dusk and listening to the sounds of the dolphins in the nearby ocean and the various birds in the garden below. The pool area was magnificent with several connecting pools all backing up to the Atlantic below. There was plenty of space throughout the hotel to lounge whether in or out, and the hotel bar stayed open late into the evening, which suited us really well when we craved a midnight snack or nightcap. Additionally, Terceira Mar is just a short distance by foot to the town center, Silveira Beach, Relvão, Museo de Angra, Duque de Terçeira Jardim, and many other worthy sites throughout Angra. I would hands down stay here again and highly recommend!

This review is relative to November, I imagine things are different in high season. ROOM: we've given a room update with no charge. And the room was a suite, big and very comfortable. The VIEW from it is breath taking, take a look at the photos. Staff is young and very kind. Breakfast is at Portuguese standards, so very high. The cheese is local and very high quality. The restaurant has a stunning view on the ocean and on Mount Brasile. The gym is accessible and since it is used by locals, it is well maintained. I saw that there were also some courses to attend, but not been there

SPA in general is not at the same level of the hotel. this is a shame! they should invest and renew it, in that case the experience would become a dream to remember lifelong. Jacuzzi was not working, and I'm pretty sure it was not a temporary problem. Turkish bathroom was not working properly (no steam in it, even if it was on). The only facilities were a little internal swimming pool and the saunas. Breakfast starts at 7.30 am. Too late for a morning person as I am, and also considering that the distance from the airport is 30 mins and the flight to Lisbon is at 9.30 so you are forced to be in rush.
