Great design, good size room. Large selection for breakfast

The hilly walking route to reach the hotel from town!

Great location as a base to explore the area. Rooms are a good size, modern rain shower bathroom. Use of spa with indoor heated pool and jacuzzi were the main attractions and well worth it (unlimited access and warm water temperatures). Breakfast had a wide selection of food with good quality. The common areas are very comfortable with lots of private spaces.

The wet/dry sauna is actually on another level from the pool/jacuzzi area, would be better if in same spa area. 1st room smelt badly from someone smoking inside as the windows can open and people lean out, a change of room was provided on request. Not hotels fault.

The hotel was excellent, very clean. Bedroom and bathroom were great and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. The only option for dinner in the evening was a buffet, but it was very good. I really could not fault the place. The hotel team were also very friendly. I can’t speak a word of Portuguese, but the staff could not do enough to help out. The cost for one night also includes access to the pool area for free so make sure you remember your swimwear,  like I didn’t.

modern hotel, good ensuite with walk in shower, comfortable large bed. Hotel has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and gym facilities. Water temperature for indoor pool was 31c during our stay - very agreeable! Restaurant served a buffet type meal on the Sunday of our stay. Good choice of food and very reasonably priced at €19 per head. Staff helpful and friendly, particularly the restaurant waiters and bar staff.

Easy to find on main road into town. Lots of free parking. Most of staff very pleasant and helpful just one young man on reception was a bit off hand. Our room was spacious but could do with better soundproofing both from traffic and other guests. We had a very nice 4 course meal (16€) in hotel restaurant.

Breakfast disappointing. Absolutely hate clear glass door to bathroom might as well no have one at all. Our cistern whistled everytime it was flushed

The breakfast is excellent, with different types of bread, cheese, fruits, milk, coffee and so on. It is valuable for the price! The room is very comfortable and clean! The pool was also really good as was the gym.

Some of the food offered on the menu was unavailable even though I've tried to order them on different days. I stayed in the hotel during summer and I suspect the hotel would be crowed during winter, so I suggest checking the availability of the menu prior to making dinner plans at the hotel.

Clean comfortable excellent value with great facilities. Welcoming smiling happy staff in every department . Juliana on reception was particularly helpful & professional. Great buffet breakfast & dinner. Spa treatments high standard & professional. Highly recommended.

I would have liked a towel policy stated in room to allow for reuse of towels. Unnecessary daily renewal. Poolside tables & loungers needed more daily cleaning. Access to grass area & side access from reception needed maintenance with unsightly rubbish bin ,& weeds. .

Very nice hotel for a short stay, alone or with family. Great rooms, good pool and very nice staff.

Food needs some improvement- please don't put peppers in every single salad- a lot of people don't like it/can't eat it and its a shame that out of 5 salads, 4 have peppers! Room curtains could be a little bit better to keep out the light*

Everything. Room was roomy, everything worked. Slippers & Dressing Gown provided for room use or walking down to the indoor pool & whirlpool. Spa available but not included. Buffet breakfast was good, excellent choices of hot & cold. We were visiting the hospital, which is across the road, so the location for us was spot on. Also ok for just visiting Covilhã, short walk away to centre. Old Covilhã just a little way up the mountain. And of course, the ski resort at the top of Serra de Estrelas is a car or taxi ride away. And, apart from having its own pool, you also gain entry to their Country Club on the eastern outskirts of Covilhã. Use of the outdoor pool and restaurant is included, not cheap but very good quality. The sports facilities incur a charge
